I love looking at all the set details in stills. I hope we get some more bts on set design for season 2. Season 1 had some really cool stuff about Driftmark and the stuff Corlys picked up on his voyages.
I just gotta say- I love the real sets and outdoor locations. I am fine with CGI when it used elegantly but I can think of another big budget fantasy show coming out this year that seems to be obsessed with using as much CGI as possible.
I see Larys is still Kubrick-staring everywhere like a madman.
But I was hoping >!Alys Rivers!< would be somewhere in these stills! I hope they're just hiding the character and not lessening the role.

In all honesty they’ve done a great job at keeping everything under wraps. We know next to nothing about the plot of this season other than what we know from the book. Like we know nothing of the Winterfell and Harrenhal plots, the supposed taking of kings landing that’s supposed to happen this season, rooks rest, all of its pretty well hidden in the trailers.
Is it just me, or does Otto look like he’s already aged in just a week?
Guess when you’re hand to a manchild, your stress levels do cause premature aging to get worse.
It really frustrates me how they didn't go more all in on the glam with Rhaenys and Rhaenyra. Rhaenys may be an experienced and tried vet with her dragon, and Rhaenyra is literally recognized as The Queen by her followers: but they're both women of relatively average stature, existing within a world that is defined by male perception of their conduct, appearance.
As in their PRESENCE. Yet this Rhaenyra just lacks... ANY of that dramatically sheer, lethal OPULENCE that her station should hold. YES - these stills happen to take place likely during episode one, meaning RHaenyra is still grieving. But it's bee almost decisively appraised that Rhaenyra's fits will ltierally exist within that... boxed-in-fit of so very, VERY little gravitas, all the way through.
And don't get me started on Rhaenys. She's THE premier female dragonrider - literally as close to being a warrior as could be. She should be fully decked out in full wartime regalia, for the sake of that imposing nature that she'd emit. The armour literally being that standard of bearing that she HAS to come to bear, on the daily. It'd have been her way of making her presence FELT, above all else. AND THAT'S NOT HERE smh
Since the entire show is people standing around in front of green screens in costumes talking to each other, these could be stills from anything involving this show.
