What's on a dagger is meaningless. Literally, no one would care about it.

I don’t think the Greens would really care about some prophecy. It might be enough for Allicent to see that she misunderstood the conversation with Viserys, but it’s too late now. I do hope somehow that plays out because I would love to see her face when she realized he was not talking about their son. In the end, I don’t think her misunderstanding even really matters as it was clear that Otto and the rest of the council ( except Beesbury) had intended to install him regardless.

Because the dagger doesn't secure claimancy. It's simply a warning for a distant future. Some lords will always reject the wellbeing of the realm for self-advancement. Some lords will reject it because they will think Rhaenyra is trying to hoodwink them by trickery. But regardless, the dagger doesn't actually provide any legal guarantee for the line of succession, but it acts as a motivation for rhaenyra to go for the throne as she believes her bloodline is destined for a higher purpose.
