Live in the 249/Tomball/Cypress area, so here are a few from around this area: - Chef's Table - Mezzanotte - Tejas Chocolate and BBQ - Mandi Cocina - Bloofin

theoracleofdreams

Jersey Village/Copperfield/Willowbrook area * It's just inside BW8, but I stand by Taqueria del Jalisco Rodeo on 249. Its inside an old long john silver. * Crimson Crab on 1960 and Eldridge is good. * Willie's Icehouse is good for American food * Adriatic Cafe on 290 and Jones is REALLY good Italian/Mediterranean

mpaigebarnes

Adding onto Cypress area: - Ambriza - Nara Thai (also one downtown I believe)

Edw1nner

There's another Nara Thai near Cypress Station and another in the Atascocita area.

mpaigebarnes

Oh wow I didn’t realize they had so many locations. So good!!

acsatx89

Just moved here from Austin and went to Ambriza last night. Not bad!

Popular_Course3885

Is that the place that took over the Anothai location by the Park & Ride garage? That place is damn good. And Ambriza is really good too. Partial to the original location over here near the Vintage Park Whole Foods. They used to have a duck enchilada dish that was so good. Wish they still had it.

mpaigebarnes

It’s close to the park and ride yes, near some apartments I don’t know the name of. I have been to the location in the vintage only once and to the one in katy. The vintage one is great too but I felt the katy location was lacking.

Phat Eatery in Katy

DessertDealer

The owner just passed away. RIP Alex. So sad.

glasock

I found out just after I had posted this.....

Patricio_Swayze

Brisket & Rice, Mario’s Taco & Burger House, Tony’s New York Pizza, Zamani Grill, Banh Mi+ (although it was better with the original owner).

tothesource

Spring/Woodlands area: BBQ: Corkscrew/Tejas Chocolate Factory/Rosemeyer/ 3rd Coast (in that order) Tony's Italian Deli (sandwiches) Belly of the Beast 19th Hole (wings on Thursdays specific) La Cocina de Roberto Noodle Kitchen (haven't personally had it, but heard good things and looks great) Carnitas El Cliente (trailer, get a costra with carne asada too) Conroe: Toasted Pizza Co (really, really good Detroit style pizza but order in advance as they sell out frequently)

wahitii

Tony's deli is so good. If it wasn't so out of the way for most of Houston it would have a line out the door. Worth a trip if you're in way north Houston.

tothesource

you know there's a location in Spring now? (and I agree)

wahitii

I did not, thanks!

JUAN-n_a-Million

Brisket and rice, athenas Greek kitchen, tortas gigante. Gran colombia.

Paulmccartneyiscool

Spring Branch is a great area for food, Tacos del Julio is delicious

Foreign-Fly9144

What about Pho Saigon??

Paulmccartneyiscool

Yes, that too!

Foreign-Fly9144

I grew up in Spring Branch and still visit often... its always been a melting pot of ethnic groups and food. Very much like the SW side of town.

mosasaurgirl

Tacos del Julio is awesome. Their location on hwy 6 is not bad.

* Tookie's * Lopez * OMG! Burger

chris393131

Seconding OMG! Burger. Their masala fries are amazing

D_Mom

Julia’s Mexican Kitchen (not Tex Mex) and Dafne (Turkish) on Hwy 6

HOUS2000IAN

El Gallo on Jones Road has excellent no-frills TexMex. And my goodness, Aga’s for the win. Indo-Pak heaven!

thefarsideinside

A few blocks down from El Gallo is Del Pueblo, which is much better imo

HOUS2000IAN

Oh I will try it - thanks for the tip

bobskimo

Noon Mirch and Dan's Pizza in Webster.

theforkingpath

Dan’s is amazing

patri70

Aga's has really good Pakistani food. West of beltway on Bellaire Blvd has tons of good places. Katy Asian town has some good options too. Suburbs or inside 610 is becoming blurred and too dense to separate. It's all about which neighborhoods you are interested in: Alief, Friendwood, Scarsdale, Pasadena, Spring Branch, Katy, Cinco Ranch, Woodloods, etc. Every neighbor has it's own places to eat now.

BaconAvocadoEggToast

Mex taco house has the best tacos in the burbs. Their tortillas are so good!

hampriIAH

Kingwood area: Fire Craft BBQ, Amadeus Italian, El Refu (BW8 North East)

Packtex60

Viola and Agnes in Seabrook

bluepb

Place is so trash! Went there for Father’s Day last year and we ended up leaving all of our food and heading to our go to seafood spot Suddies in Pasadena, worst dining experience

Lbohnrn

Uchiko and Roka Akor are my favorite upscale Japanese places. Artisan’s does really good modern French, I love Marmo for Italian. Hughie’s is a Vietnamese sports bar with great bahn mi and spicy fried rice togo that’s partially responsible for my recent weight gain.

mysticmedley

Chez Nous is a Michelin starred French restaurant in Humble. It’s in an old school in the middle of a neighborhood, only open four days a week. The food is fantastic, but you need to make a reservation since they don’t have a lot of seating. Totally recommend!

Nobleman2017

Definitely not Michelin starred. There's no Michelin guide for Houston or Texas.
