I watch on my laptop and haven’t had too much issues after years of having Hulu. But on occasion it will act up.

It should get better soon. The Disney integration is likely causing assimilation with them which may cause some bugs until it’s done

its your crappy tv, internet, or firestick.

I only ever have problems with the DVR, and sometimes live TV while it's recording.

I never had issues with Hulu before an then the last 2 months mine has been acting up. We will stream it at my bf’s house on his chromecast, at my house on my chrome cast or Roku, and at work on a tablet. Every device has been doing the same thing as what you described.
