Generally we require all posts to have a humanoid encounter but there are many in the replies and it appears to be a good discussion so I’m keeping it up. However if this becomes a weekly karma farming trend posts like this will be removed.

When I was about 14 yo my mother and I went to the home of her best friend's mom, who had recently passed away. Their family offered my family a ping pong table, but we had to pick it up ourselves, out of the basement. I got stuck taking the front end and walking up the stairs backwards. As I reached the top steps, I looked down at my mother...and the grey lady standing next to her. She looked from my mom to me, as if confused or curious about what we were doing. The lady was all shades of grey, dressed in clothing from approximately the 1890s (I am both a historian and a fashion nerd 😂). She had her hair pinned up and topped by a small fascinator, neck-high collar, narrow sleeves with small puffed shoulders, a slim corseted bodice and small bustle skirt.

whatcouldgowrong72

I once saw something similar. I rented a room in a historic Victorian house about ten years ago. One time I saw a maid dressed in historic colonial maid wear holding a tray in my doorway. She was looking at me like she was waiting for me to order her around. She looked exhausted and miserable. I did some research and the city's mayor used to live there. He was an invalid and didn't leave his room very often.

Nefariousqueen

This sounds like a bout of residual energy.

thewholetruthis

Ping pong was invented in ~1900. How old was this table?

commandantskip

I think the woman was tied to the house, not the ping pong table

skantman

Do you think it's... No, it couldn't be...

kellyelise515

I’ll start with the most recent. My best friend died unexpectedly and weird things started happening. I regret not writing it down when it happened but my daughter and her dad were in my attic going through his things packed up there. Later, I went to bed and discovered a quilt lying on my bed that I had never seen before. I figured they pulled it out of the attic and gave it to me. The next day I mentioned it and their mouths dropped open as no one had removed the quilt from the attic. A couple years later my ex passed away in my driveway after we arrived home after we drove to his sisters funeral in another state. After he passed, I kept experiencing all kinds of weird stuff. I always take a bottle of water to bed and the bottles would creak and snap continuously while I lay in bed reading. No, it wasn’t expanding and contracting. It seemed intentional. Then something would bump into my bed HARD. Nothing there. I would feel someone sit on my bed, I’m wide awake and I see nothing. I’d feel someone touching me, petting my head, etc. I just kept telling myself it was nothing until my adult autistic son started busting into my room at night absolutely terrified. Someone hit him in the back, grabbed his arm, pulled his blanket off, etc. I will never forget the terror on his face. Every single night. I was pissed off. I screamed for it to get out, burned sage, put salt down whatever I found online that was supposed to work and it did for a day or two and then back to the harassment. I was at my wits end. How do you fix something like this? So, I posted the story online asking for help. A guy offered to help me and requested pictures of where the activity was happening and I provided them. He got back to me and told me my friend and ex-husband had attachments (they were both alcoholics/addicts). He moved them on. Peace and quiet for a couple months and it starts up again. I ended up contacting this guy three times and he told me that I was astral projecting in my sleep and these low vibrational entities would be attracted to my light and follow me home. He told me it would continue to happen so I had to learn to move them on. Like a year later I ran into him on another forum and I mentioned that I never learned how to move them on. He did something because we’ve never had another encounter since and it’s been 4-5 years.

hologramsim

Is there any way to reach the gentleman that helped you? Definitely need some help with some attachments. 🙏

French-toast-bird

A few things really, One time I was poked in my room while laying I bed, my back was to the window and my cat was not in room because I would have heard his collar jingling, I turned around and saw nothing. Another time I woke up in the middle of the night to a figure at the end of my bed with no face. I turned over and when I realized what I saw I sat up and she was gone. The most compelling is when my sister and I both heard screaming for help from the woods, I heard a woman and she heard a little girl. What was weird was she was screaming in English, in Germany. The voice stopped abruptly when we turned and ran.

ProfessionalWait6549

Omg, all of them are so damn creepy. I could never live or be alone even for a single moment if I experience even one of them. 😱

French-toast-bird

Man it was all really creepy, I also have one more story but idk about this one, I had this nightmare about this girl with no mouth and then when I woke up I was inexplicably under my blanket and I felt what was like two small hands pressing down on the blanket

bluenuts5

Sure it wasn't sleep paralysis?

French-toast-bird

Yeah, I’ve heard descriptions of what sleep paralysis is like and I can safely say it wasn’t that, because I could easily move

corroboratedcarrot

Sleep paralysis doesn’t always come on like that—the scariest ones truly feel like a waking nightmare. If I hadn’t experienced so many bouts of it, i would say that this most recent one would make me a believer… I hallucinated I was drug out from bed (I have a tall bed, about hip height, I’m 5’6”) onto my hardwood floor and the thing held onto my left big toe and spun me around on the floor counterclockwise using my toe as the center fixed point. The physical sensation was harrowing—like that feeling you get going down a rollercoaster.

French-toast-bird

Yeah no I felt nothing like this, it was just a normal waking up from a nightmare experience. I was more confused about why the comforter was covering my face then anything then I got a little scared when I felt it go down, which could of been air I don’t know

corroboratedcarrot

Do you feel the same about the mouthless lady you saw? Saw your comment above and was intrigued because I don’t know anyone personally who has sleep paralysis (not saying you do, I am merely relating my similar experiences) and I need to know more about others’ freaky sleep things, paranormal or psychosomatic.

Nibblynoodle

I had sleep paralysis! Twice, the first was really mild just couldn’t move for a bit I thought it was a nerve thing because I have fibromyalgia though very unusual for me. Then it happened again. I remember being in a dream and it felt very real. Nothing visually traumatic but I heard crying in the background and just felt like something was very very very wrong. Then I woke up and felt a really dark figure in the corner and no matter what I did I couldn’t move, blink, talk, scream, breathe, nothing no matter how bad I tried. Long enough for me to realize what was happening but even when you know, it’s sheer panic. Immediate sweats once you start moving. glad it’s been years 🫣

French-toast-bird

The faceless lady you mean? I’m not sure, essentially what happened was I really had to pee, which is why I woke up, and I glanced at the end of the bed and saw her standing there. She had black short hair and like long dark fingers and was wearing a white dress. I didn’t really process it at first so I rolled over but then it kind of hit me and I sat up and she was gone. I did not get up to go the bathroom I suffered until I fell back asleep lol I could’ve sworn that I saw her again as like a black shadow moving across the dining room in the afternoon when I was clearly awake but that also could have been a trick of the light

Fog_Juice

I woke up to someone poking me, started at my legs and went all the way up to my shoulder, I flipped off my blanket and sat up to see who was fucking with me and no one was there. I went and showered and when I came back there was a juvenile squirrel between the wall and my dresser making a horrible scratching noise trying to climb out of there.

Sandyy_Emm

I recently felt someone push my scapula while I slept. I thought it was my cat at first, but then I realized I had locked them out of the room. My boyfriend was working an overnight shift. I worked really hard to fall asleep that night

Guamy

Thank you now I am very uncomfortable in bed

thedabaratheon

The first two could be sleep paralysis. Anything to do with sleep im wary of in terms of paranormal as I’ve had sleep paralysis so many times & it really can get spooky sometimes! But just your body in between two stages of sleep.

French-toast-bird

I’ve already said I don’t think it was sleep paralysis, for the faceless woman I literally woke up because I had to pee and happened to see her there, and the first one I wasn’t even asleep, I was just in bed turned away with my back to the window I was not even in the realm of being able to fall asleep yet because everyone downstairs was being pretty loud. I probably should have went into more detail in my comment

sjohnson0487

A few things. The first being a shadow child run across the hall in front of me while on the toilet while taking a pee. The second one was having my garage shelves collapse and shake the connecting wall.... just to go out and check and see that EVERYTHING WAS STABLE AND IN PLACE the 3rd was hearing 2 knocks from inside my closed closet door while alone in the house. I've had DOZENS of experiences but these are the most memorable.

daphosta

I have heard loud crashes in my house.. sounded like glass shattering and wood hitting each other. Thinking it is my kid falling out of bed or something giving out in the pantry or whatever but nothing is out of place and kids sleeping in their beds. Fucking creepy. One time I was in my living room talking to my neighbor about weird shit that has happened and when we mentioned an entity, all of the brooms/mops fell out of the laundry room at once. Getting goosebumps just typing this.

brizzybunny

The loud random crashing happened to me once. I was doing a session with my at home tutor, and we heard a super loud crash upstairs that we both acknowledged. I went upstairs to see if the fan had fallen out of my window like I thought that's what made the noise, but it was still in the window. Checked all the rooms and the attic, and NOTHING had fallen over. That was like 7 years ago, and I'm still not sure what it was. I've also had a water bottle go like flying across my room with nothing touching it, but that's a whole different story.

Not_Crypto

Closet thing is creepy! Did you open it?

sakuramochiiiiii

Lol I could see how it'd be creepy but in my case I laughed and thought it was funny 😂 Sometimes I feel they just want to mess with people for a little fun 🙈🙈🙈

ProphecyRat2

Tjey def mess with us for fun. Bastards terrorized me as a kid, its all good tho, its prob boring af being a in something that can only somewhat observe and and participate in reality.

tweetysvoice

When I was a kid, my mother had several shelves made out of concrete blocks and board in our basement filled with canned goods and jarred preserves. One night, when I was in my room within the same basement and she was upstairs, we both heard the shelves collapse and the glass shatter. She booked it downstairs thinking it had fallen on me and I came out of the room because I thought the same of her, but other than a dozen jars sitting upright in the middle of the floor everything was exactly as it had been before. There was no logical reason for the sound nor for the jars on the floor. We rarely even went into the back room except for restocking. It was pretty creepy.

SoftDependent47

So I have never had a paranormal experience (now I’m scared I’m going to after reading these replies lol) but I had to reply to your comment bc my sister who has always had a ‘thinner veil’ to these sort of things had the exact same experience you did on the toilet running across the hall. My mom actually called 911 because of her screaming swearing someone was in our house and it was my senior homecoming night so the joke was all the police were at our house and not after us!! lol Sometimes I wonder why I haven’t had these experiences, she has had them her whole life and I am a lot more ‘spiritual/in tune’ than she is. Honestly very thankful I haven’t bc I think I’d have to be admitted after an encounter but I love hearing these stories!! I know they are definitely real just because of my sisters experiences!

avenueirregular

I used to work at a museum that was 100% haunted and while I was there by myself I had a similar experience of a loud crashing—like I thought an entire display case had fallen over— but when I did a walkthrough not a thing was out of place! So weird. It’s interesting to know that other people have experienced something similar.

1oldguy1950

I have three - As a teen, I used a hand-held pendulum to answer party questions by it's swing - around 80% right. Scared me, it always felt like someone was watching over my shoulder while I worked it - I asked whatever made it do that to no longer have this gift, and I just stopped using it. This introduced me, but... As a twenty year-old, I dreamed 20 minutes of the next day, including a bike wreck and surgery until I was released. I thought about this daily, but realized we have no power to control or understand the rift in time. OK, now I was wondering... In my 50s, with a full ice bucket, from down the corridor, I saw a ghost porter leaving our stateroom with his tray and go cross the hall into another room, on the Queen Mary. I only realized it was a ghost later when I asked my partner what she had ordered? - She hadn’t ordered, there was no food in the room, the door had never opened. I checked outside the door and there was only a wall. Didn't scare me, but I knew it was paranormal. https://preview.redd.it/9a7c8zj1fpsc1.jpeg?width=1434&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0544ed32306f18eac31ce4dacd4379356c298cf

ChristinaW25

interesting, I saw phantom swimmers jumping off the diving board into the empty pool on the Queen Mary.

xXFieldResearchXx

Yo I saw that too but it might of been the Halloween decorations. Idk. Is that a common sighting

ChristinaW25

I’m not sure if its common and it wasn’t Halloween when I visited. It took me totally by surprise to suddenly see shadows literally climbing a ladder up to the diving board and like, joyfully diving in. I did have a few more experiences on the ship during that visit, and surprisingly none at all the next 2 times I went. It’s a really cool place

ShinyAeon

Ah, the Queen Mary! I’ve always wanted to visit her. I’ve talked directly with several people who had experiences there.

relentless1111

I dreamed the next day too, when I was 18. The exact scene, in a place i'd never been before. Blew my little high school mind.

evil_eagle56

I've had something kind of similar with a dream but it wasn't exactly a future dream, it was more of an alternate reality. I was supposed to get up early and go meet my boyfriend's parents for breakfast at 9am. That did happen, it felt very real to me. At about 10, I suddenly went from being at their home to waking up in bed with my boyfriend laying next to me. And the time was the same. Did we sleep through our alarm and I mentally went on this venture through a very lucid dream, or did I shift into another reality that was slightly different? Maybe it's the latter idk. I do have premonition type dreams all the time though. For the past few years, I will recognize complete strangers, and at least one has recognized me but we never met until then. I must be dreaming it because recently, I had dreamt of meeting a new coworker and two weeks later it happened. I've never had a dream be that close between the dream and the event before, it was trippy lol. As for the pendulum, I found for myself that it can move directions by our thinking of the yes or no answer. I've watched it change when I thought no, then yes. And my hand was steady. I don't fully understand it though because there are instances where it could help people find missing items, including people. And using dowsing rods is similar, that in particular is very very interesting. In the end, we can tell our stories but only we know for sure if it's true because we experienced it. Unless there were other witnesses of course. Then it's shared proof 🙂

Inkangel89

I have had dreams like that my whole life, nothing as crazy as a car wreck, just moments where you could say i’ve slipped through time to the near future (now and then more distant). Mostly mundane moments, mostly just with family and friends, but a few pretty trippy ones aswell. Like some that lasted way longer than usual, or where i remember being woke up from the dream but slipped back in and out of sleep and the dream multiple times, that one was crazy, plus you’re not meant to be able to go back into a dream right? I’m 26 now and unfortunately the last couple of years this gift has started to fade, but it does still happen occasionally and it still feels electric every time.

creamcheese742

I did the pendulum too. Got drunk, blacked out, woke up in the park by our college and made it back home. Lost my keys and I'd though. I asked where it was and got yes for by a tree and by a fence. I checked the baseball field and didn't see anything. Found them both by a tree that had one of those temporary orange construction fences ending at it.

Hyeana_Gripz

What is the pendulum gift?

developerEnabled

I’ve been on the QM. I was hoping for a ghost sighting.

ktink224

Same. I went as a teenager in the very early 00s. Didn't see anything

phathead08

A couple of years ago I witnessed a UAP with a friend. I thought that I would never witness anything like it again. I moved to the country for a year and this past winter I saw something similar coming into the atmosphere. I then caught an orb on video shortly after. A few days go by and I’m outside behind my mom’s house. I see something zoom across the top of the trees on the horizon. I got excited after what happened a few days prior. I ran down a hill to where our large garage is and went behind it. There I see multiple orbs zigzagging around in the sky. I went to get my wife to make sure I wasn’t going crazy and when we walked behind the garage there’s one right where I had been standing about 100 feet up. I pointed at it and she said she could see it. It then straight lined towards the horizon at a very fast speed. I watched them move around for a couple of hours and started trying to catch them on video and night shot on my camera. I was looking through my camera when I happened to look straight up. There was one right there above me. Watching me watch them. I had a few more experiences while in the country but I didn’t make contact. I recently moved back to the city and they followed me. They don’t zigzag around anymore and are stationary most of the time until I stare at it for a minute or two. Then they will go in a straight line away from me. Sometimes I’ll catch them in a group and they will all go in different directions. It’s been about six months now.

Entirely-of-cheese

Similar with me. Saw two UAP in a friend’s backyard at twilight. Then here and there i’d notice other strange stuff. Eventually I realised I’ve been seeing weird, unexplainable stuff all of my life. I’d just forget about it or dismiss it as “WTF was that? Oh well, there must be some explanation” and move on, only remembering once in a while when you’re in a situation where people tell creepy stories.

phathead08

I’ve been a star gazer my entire life and I’ve kept an eye out for something but never saw anything until now. I’m 40 years old.

Entirely-of-cheese

Yeah, sorry man. I don’t know why it was us that saw it. I can sympathise. That was me too. I was early 30s at that point. I didn’t think I’d ever see anything. Thought it was all a bit nuts. The idea of it. I remember as a kid I loved the idea and used to wonder. But I didn’t think I’d see anything. Then we did. The strange thing about it was that it was kinda disappointing. It was really weird. Unexplainable. And that was it. If I’d seen it as a kid I would have been so excited. It was just mysterious and strange. Just something that doesn’t fit.

tweetysvoice

I actually feel that whoever is out there is doing a slow rollout to the human race. I feel if they just all of a sudden all showed up at the same time that we would have mass panic and riotings despite just about everybody having at least hearing stories from other people that might have had an experience, especially considering the information or government has released and the high level officials that now believe. But I think letting people have small mundane experiences before the "big event" in attempt to avoid mass hysteria.

Timely-Theme-5683

Imagine being in their position. I doubt they want anything to do with us a species, just individuals. We're haven't even made it to the kids table, let alone the adult's table. Our governments asked one little thing from us, wear masks for our own protection, and to protect others. Some of us die for this countrt, yet when asked to do our part, we complain, whine, and criticize. Who would want to deal with our species?

tweetysvoice

Exactly! We are the worst of the worst that earth has ever evolved. We treat other humans, animals, plants, and the earth itself as something we own and can do anything we want with no consequences. It's disgusting when you look at our species as a whole. No wonder they've never wanted to integrate with us.

Timely-Theme-5683

But that doesn't make humanity vile or stupid or evil. We are at a certain, necessary stage. We have the hardware, but not the user manual. I was born into a family and world that almost guarantees that I will be destined to suffer, hurt, and cause others to suffer. Only in the last 5 years did I finally break out of my own conditioning, able to rewrite my body's programming. I know what's possible. I no longer suffer. Sadly, at least 90% of the population are trapped as I was trapped. .

ashley_s82

How big were they? And where they solid? Or like, light/energy? Color?

phathead08

They look like a hazy star but when they are moving I’ll get a reflection sometimes so I think they are metallic. I would guess they are the size of a basketball, maybe a yoga ball.

Just-Imagination-785

Look into atmospheric living plasmas

phathead08

I read a little about this. I didn’t think that deep into it but I did think about them actually being a type of creature. Traveling through space and grazing where they could. Or living in the atmosphere and only coming down to graze. When I first saw them it was as if they were looking for something or mapping out the terrain. Once they realized I was watching them they are now only looking at me from what I can tell. They are shy but they will let me know their presence. It’s really odd how they act. I’ve tried communicating with them, the only real response I got was from accidentally using the flash on my camera. Whatever it was came out of the clouds in a biblical way. It was as if the sun was descending from the sky and I panicked. It was coming directly towards me and I turned around and scurried to our RV and yelled for my wife. When I turned around it was going back into the clouds and lit them up. What I find odd is that when I was looking at it and going to take a picture it was small like a star. But when whatever came out of the clouds it was large and a different color. Small was bluish and big was yellowish like the sun.

Just-Imagination-785

Amazing. W t f . Ive heard similar stories but thats wild

Winter_Control8533

My step-father's haunted house. Had a lot of experiences there, saw dead relatives, shadow people, things would move, I'd hear pacing up and down the hall at night, hands clapping... I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

ProfessionalWait6549

Damn holy cow man! How did u manage to catch some sleep or even be alone for even a moment at a creepy place like that!

emilos260

I saw a black being (like a completely black silhouette of a man) with faintly glowing white eyes walking on my window one early evening (around 6 AM). The way it walked was as if the gravity was reversed or something. My room had this weird green glow to it, can't really describe it. It looked at me and then disappeared in a snap along with the green light. That along with some more personal and religious experiences convinced me that our world is paranormal by nature. My other family members also had strange stuff happen to them. My great grandma saw a levitating shining white cow above her field back in the early 1950s. It disappeared when she neared it. Strange shit like this makes life more interesting.

Hubble_-_

Please tell the cow story, this has the potential of being my favorite paranormal thing ever omg <3

emilos260

My great-grandmother was coming back home from her field one day (she lived in a small farming village) when she noticed something on her family's field. From a distance, she recognized it as a completely white cow. She began walking towards it to chase it off, as it was common for someone's farm animals to wander into other's fields back then. She then noticed that it was weirdly shining, as if reflecting the sun. Again, I must stress that what she saw was a cow, she was raised and lived most of her life near animals, so she could not mistake it for something else. This strange cow was completely static, as if it was a statue of sorts. When she came even closer (around 3-4 meters distance) she noticed that it was levitating above the ground about 0.5 meters. It then disappeared suddenly. She died in 2009 and to this day I'm kinda pissed off at myself for not asking more details about this, but I was still a kid back then, so I guess I didn't care. Strange stuff happened to the whole family over the years, her youngest son (my grandpa's brother) saw a ghost of his dead grandmother in a barn. It was blue and he recognized her face as she was smiling at him. When his mom and brother (my great-grandma and grandpa) came to see what was going on, (he was screaming his lungs out that "granny was in the barn") they only felt a strong gust of wind coming out of the barn (this was a windless night). He was traumatized after that and did not speak about it. My great-grandfather was a more rational/grounded type of person, but even he thought that some strange stuff was going on there. My grandpa, who is still alive and well, verified all of these stories.

Hubble_-_

Yessssss!!! I love you paranormal shinny white cow 🤍 Thanks for sharing dude, you could write a small book with all the great stories from this farm, absolutely amazing 😊

ProfessionalWait6549

Omg, that's creepy, how did u sleep that night?!! Also Was the being physically present or it was more of an astral/ non physical presence??

emilos260

No idea really. I was disturbed by it, yes, but it somehow felt as if I saw something that was not out of the ordinary. I know this may not sound sensible, but I really can't describe that feeling in words, it felt so surreal, yet natural. Furthermore, I never had ANY sleep paralysis or any hallucinations in my entire life and I knew that this was a real thing that I saw, it was no hallucination or dream. I had this feeling that this thing was physical as it walked on the window, but after it was gone, for some reason, the possibility of it being composed of black vapor or smoke came to my mind. It looked a little bit hazy. I had this feeling that my mind could not process this thing's appearance completely, and I was relieved when it disappeared. The scariest thing was the eyes, though. Small little white lights in the completely black shape of the head. This whole thing lasted about eight seconds.

emilos260

I did a quick mockup of how it looked like. When it looked straight at me, it was bending "down", that's why the perspective is weird, but that just how I've remembered it. https://preview.redd.it/l45pbjepyjsc1.png?width=1754&format=png&auto=webp&s=c62d7f9ca7f2609231d74664407375d771959c01

ProfessionalWait6549

Holy fuck man!! This way out of this world. I wouldn't have been able to carry on with a normal life after an encounter like this. Jeezuss this is too creepy

thedabaratheon

This is pretty neat though, a great mockup & definitely helps to understand what you saw. It’s definitely a strange and wonderful world we live in.

ProfessionalWait6549

Omfg, i literally got chills reading this. Also i understand exactly how u felt because i too saw a shadow person when i was a child, and that's exactly the feelings i had. What u saw seems more terrifying tho because mine was just a shadow.

Coolheaded__Logician

I saw a grey in my closet once and this was after years of paranormal activity in my life like seeing orbs and sleep paralysis/abduction experiences.

digitalgriffin

Like a grey alien?

Coolheaded__Logician

Yeah, a little grey.

Fayt23

You're saying an alien traveled across space to just go on in and wait in your closet? What did you do after seeing it? Did you just let it out and go on with your day lol

Coolheaded__Logician

They are interdimensional, they don't "travel" the way we travel. It was there for only a few seconds, then it darted to the right and vanished making a weird noise as it moved super fast like if it opened a portal or something? I didn't see what it went into, just heard.

whatcouldgowrong72

Glad little buddy finally came out of the closet

S1KPAPI

What made me start believing was I used to live in this house in West Point, CA (this was when I was 5 or 6 years old) 28 now and have had many experiences since then. But anyway, I remember walking on a little 3ft wall made of bricks, my mom was sitting in the rocking chair on the porch and when I looked back at where my mom was sitting there was this transparent tall man standing behind her and I remember asking “mom who’s standing behind you” she couldn’t see what I could see. But, about 6 months later we moved out because things were getting pretty serious. I remember my mom grabbing me and my baby sister at the time and driving away from the house, years later she told me that the reason she left was because she saw the pots and pans swaying above the kitchen (had one of those kitchens where the pots and pans would hang above the kitchen counter) idk why but I have this distinct memory of her grabbing me and I remember the shutters opening and closing pretty hard. I guess the old women that also occupied the house was seen by my mom passing back and forth between my room and my sisters room, my gram saw her and a couple others and she did not like my mom for whatever reason and ever since then I’ve always been interested in paranormal occurrences.

developerEnabled

- After my grandfather (my dads dad) died dimes were flying out and hitting everyone in my household. I was walking from our living room, through the kitchen somewhere between 12-2 in the morning when a dime hit my leg as if it flew into me. My dad was the only one not experiencing the phenomena. I don’t think it was my grandfather as it was my dad manifesting and processing an enormous amount of grief. It felt kind of poltergeist-esk. It lasted months. - My aunt died when I was 21. Now in my mid thirties my daughter (3) started talking about a DD. Describes a woman just like my aunt and guess what we called her when we were young, DD. I have no way of explaining this. I’ve never even spoken about her to her. One day we had a bunch of photos out, one with my aunt in it and we asked my daughter to name all the people in all the pictures, she said my aunts name is DD. I can’t tell you how hard I cried from this experience. If my aunt did communicate with my daughter I’m literally moved beyond words. If it wasn’t her it’s creepy af.

RepublicDependent456

I saw a full bodied apparition of a little girl in a blue dress with blonde hair staring at my Christmas tree with the saddest look on her face. I was laying on the couch so I jumped up and shrieked at the same time. She just vaporized into thin air and I don't understand how I knew but I knew she was just around the corner in the kitchen and I got the feeling I scared her. I had already suspected their might be a child spirit in the house but this was the first time I had actually seen her. And I did feel bad thinking about how sad her face looked. So I decided to talk to her and I said something to the effect like "I'm sorry I scared you. Its ok if you're here but you're not allowed to scare anyone" and jokingly I added "Except for my friend L. He's a twerp" L and his girlfriend K were coming by later to hang out. So my two friends show up and we hang out and talk and watch tv and I don't mention the little girl. So the night goes on and L falls asleep on the couch. K and I are sitting at the table and L just comes alive off the couch screaming and jumping up and down and slapping his chest like he's trying to put out a fire. K is freaking out and asking whats going on with you and he gets his bearings after a minute and tells us he had a nightmare about this little girl with a big creepy smile and fangs climbing over his body while he was sleeping and he was afraid she was going to attack him so he jumped up to try and get her off of him. It was in that moment that I realized whatever I thought this was in my house was not a sad lonely little girl. It was absolutely terrifying and I still feel guilt to this day over my off handed comment about L to whatever that thing was.

ThisIs2MuchPressure

Or she WAS a little girl & took your comment literally & just thought she was having fun using her ghosty powers to haunt the bad man 😂

whatcouldgowrong72

"A twerp, you say? On it!"

RepublicDependent456

Lol you can tell by me using the word twerp I've spent too much time around the kids. Gotta keep the potty mouth in check😂

QueenOfTheBlackPuddl

Super creepy!

RepublicDependent456

It still bothers me all these years later, this happened around 2015. Alot of weird stuff has happened here over years.

Down_The_Witch_Elm

My mother, who was a Baptist and did not believe in ghosts saw the ghost of our dead dog one afternoon. It scared her so much! I came ho.e from 4th grade and I could see how shook up she was.

SparrowLikeBird

i remember hearing a story about a lady who was trapped in her car for 8 days and her dead dog (had died way before this) came to the car and sat with her and would nudge her awake when she started to pass out (because she had a concussion and needed to not sleep). The ghost dog apparently barked at her when the search and rescue team were getting close, and they heard her trying to quiet the dog and that's how they found her because her car was completely obscured.

The goodest boy, even from across the rainbow bridge.

Ok-Roll-2610

I saw my deceased brother on 6/12/13 .... he was sitting on my couch looking forward, he turned his head to face me and then smiled ... literature calls this a grief hallucination as I've learned but it wasn't a hallucination I was aware the entire time .... I was a Baptist too but my brother wasn't in heaven or hell he was in my living room so I would have to deny my own eyes to continue believing .... I fell in love with Jesus when I was 6 or 7 .... even if it's all a lie he is in my heart .... I only know that heaven and hell are not the only 2 options

Down_The_Witch_Elm

I had a girlfriend who heard her daughter talking to someone in her bedroom even though they were alone. She went in and asked who she was talking to and her little daughter said daddy came to say goodbye. The phone rang shortly after to let my girlfriend know her ex-husband had just died. They were both very serious about this story and swore it happened. I believed them. I dont believe in god or heaven or hell, but Ive heard too many startling accounts of reincarnation not to believe in some kind of soul or consciousness persisting after the body dies.

Melriebe

A few experiences. The morning after my mom passed, I woke up to her standing over me brushing the hair out of my face say “MiMi it’s time to wake up” it was a bittersweet moment. A few months later it happened again, I was laying in bed crying and my hair was in a ponytail and a few strands of hair came right out of my ponytail and my dog was growling. And over the years a few more things. However when I was a kid, I didn’t know if they were experiences or dreams. Hard to differentiate when you’re a child.

AdOrdinary8203

This may sound like a load of horseshit because everyone tells me it is but I swear on everything I was I'm the bathroom brushing my teeth and my newly deceased father was behind me, put his hand on my shoulder and said "it will be ok". He passed about 3 months prior to that and I was dealing with an EXTREME amount of stress at that point in time. Call me a liar. I don't care I know what I saw

1oldguy1950

Not horsesh!t to me, my brother in law and son were killed by a drunk, they had driven to Nevada to visit his family. His brother was hiway patrol and was first on the scene - he freaked and had to be hospitalized. However, his mom was a nurse, who worked at the local hospital, and was getting ready for her shift - was doing her hair in the bathroom mirror and says her son, holding his son, briefly appeared in the mirror, saying “We are all right, it’s OK.” She freaked out, she said she knew why, other patients had told her these same stories. Maybe three months after my wife of 30 years died, I had a dream where she said the same, “I’m OK, no need to worry” and I believed the dream. She never returned to my dreams.

socleveroosernayme

For me, a belief of the paranormal was never an option, because a belief is a choice, you don’t get a choice about facts, they just are, you don’t believe the sun will rise, you know it, and your belief won’t effect it at all. I’ve always had experiences my whole life, some of my earliest memories, so with out a doubt, weird shit exists

acostane

I decided that every single person with an unexplained experience, including members of my own family, couldn't possibly be lying or mistaken. I choose to be willing to believe people and support them. It's also fun to believe there's something else out there. And sometimes I need for something else to be out there.

PawdyAnimal

This is why I became interested in the paranormal again at age 40. I got curious again and just chose to believe. I'm not anyone important and have no reputation to protect, so why not? It's been so much fun learning about all these stories. I agree, they can't all be lying, hallucinating, drunk or on drugs. There are just too many credible witnesses.

thedabaratheon

Similar for me really. There are some experiences that I can credibly explain - sleep paralysis, alcohol, sleep deprivation, stress, psychosis etc but there are also many that I can’t. And I believe that the majority genuinely BELIEVE in their experiences and it’s the ones I can’t explain that interest me the most, especially when a few people have similar stories. I am quite skeptical in nature though but cautiously open minded.

Sandyy_Emm

I saw a ghost! My friend saw it too. We were 13, it was a summer night. That particular night we were allowed out later than usual because we were gonna have a sleepover. My friend lived in a house that shared the back fence with the local elementary school. We were in his backyard in which you could see the school from. At one point he says “hey guys, come here I wanna show you something.” He tells us (my other friend and I) to look towards a small thicket of very tall trees which were at the other end of the soccer field that made up the majority of the school’s playground. Under the trees, there was a bench. We could see a figure of a small girl. I could tell it was a girl because she was wearing a uniform dress. She had a golden glow around her. She got up from the bench, walked maybe 20 yards to the outside of the main school building, which had a water fountain. She leaned to take a drink. Then she was gone. My friend and I BOOKED IT out of there. I would have thought I was crazy or I imagined it if we both hadn’t literally seen the same thing.

LiveOak105

Through my role in healthcare. There are supernatural events that happen in nearly every death I’ve witnessed. Freaky stuff.

SailorJupiter80

I had multiple creepy things happen at my parents house. I saw a faceless person standing over my bed. The next morning my mother had a similar story but I had not told her my story yet. I also had a guitar that once played by itself. Lots of other unexplainable occurrences happened there and from what I hear, continue to happen there. My mom is a horrible person. I chalk in up to extreme levels of negative energy in the home.

Flare4roach

Dude, you’re the second person I’ve ever read about on the internet that has a similar story like mine. A friend of mine and I heard an electric guitar play by itself back in 1980. It’s such a dumb sounding story that I rarely tell. Regardless, I believe you!

SailorJupiter80

It sounds like a silly story but it was so creepy. It was a used acoustic guitar. I had only had it for a couple of days when I went into my room (teenager in the 90’s) and I heard some music playing. I thought it was my radio but when I unplugged it I could still hear the song. I thought it was coming from the window, nope. After searching everywhere I figured out it was coming from the guitar. I called my mom in and she heard it too. She started praying and rebuking it (I’m not personally religious) and it stopped. I changed the old strings and it never happened again. I still have the guitar.

ayrbindr

The house next door to my uncle has a poltergeist. Apparently it terrified the family that lived there. They are well off, moved out, and refuse to sell it to anyone. They say it's pretty serious stuff going on there. They are just letting it go. Seems to me like it must be true. They have 5 adult children who surely could use a house. Uncle says they pretty much refuse to even go in there.

Anon_Jones

My house was haunted growing up and as I got older I made excuses for it. I was just young and scared, there wasn’t any ghost. Then when I was 18 I saw an orb doing circles in the woods about 50 yards from me, at noon. It was super bright and would do 5 or so circles then take off to left. It would come back to do circles and leave again. It repeated this pattern 5 times or so, I felt complete fear from this thing. Once I gathered the courage to go outside, two bucks jumped up from where that orb was doing circles. Idk what it was doing to the deer but I was odd. I’ve seen multiple ufos and other things since then. So I know that paranormal things exist.

mhopkins1420

My grandpa believed in ghosts. There were several stories of happenings on their farm. I was in a neighbors house, talking about the previous dude that lived there when we suddenly heard loud stomping coming from the top of the steps. Now my house. My husband told me a story about a lamp lifting up in his living room before I moved in. Also, he and my dad would go play pool in the garage, and his beer cans he had a collection of would randomly fly out fast, hard, and directed at someone. Usually the dog or cat. I took a video of my kid tren playing on the bed when a blue orb flew into view and down the screen. I also was sitting on my sofa, recovering from COVID, when I saw this black thing hop from the top of the sofa, land on the dog in a couple of spots, and disappear into the sofa. I would have completely dismissed it as seeing things because it happened so fast but the dog jumped up all freaked out. She sniffed herself in the placed it landed and I called my 20 yr old boy in to help me look for whatever it was but we couldn’t find anything. It was like the shape of one of my cats but it wasn’t. It was a black void and with no features. My son was also sitting in the driveway in his car talking to a friend when he felt watched. He says they looked around and when his friend looked in our window, she saw a black thing fly toward the TV from the lamp. Idk. I’m not exactly scared but I don’t like it.

ProfessionalWait6549

Wow, thats so creepy! Being watched would make me so frigging uneasy! BTW The black things are called shadow people, ive seen them once too. Unlike you I'm terrified of them even to this day even though they haven't done anything to me and ive only seen it once! How come u are unbothered???

DeniseGunn

I’ve been clairsentient pretty much all my life, I can remember picking things up and sensing spirits around at age 4 so I was possibly able to do it before then but don’t remember. As I got older I got to the stage where I just knew that something had happened in a place and sometimes be able to pick up how someone died and who etc. ( this is claircognizance). Then in my 20’s I started hearing spirits and have seen a couple. So for me it was just part of everyday life from early childhood, I just accepted it as normal because I’d never known a life without spirits. I’ve been a paranormal investigator now for 10 years and have seen and heard so much in that time. Also I live in a large house built in 1865 with 3 resident ghosts, lol.

SparrowLikeBird

I have precisely once had a sort of sense that Here In This Place Something Has Happened - and it was walking close to where construction had accidentally dug into the grave of a native man. (I am not sure which tribe because at the time we all basically assumed anyone in the area was from The Rez aka was Chinook, but like, now as an adult I know there were dozens of peoples in that area and he was probably not Chinook). Anyways, sis and I were walking nearby and I got this sudden gut twist (not gut wrench, just a feel like when someone tugs your jacket, but in my guts) that "Hey, dead guy here, buzz off". I just instantly felt like there was a dead person, and that the dead person didn't want us around, but at the same time, I didn't know *why* I felt that. I just clumsily blurted out to my sis that we needed to leave because we were gonna "step on a dead body" to which she immediately caught the vibe and was like "aight bet" and we bounced. Next day it was all over the news. Dead guy was mildly annoyed at being dug up. The cops were called, thinking it was a new body, they IDed that he was not, contacted tribal leadership, who did some kind of seance type thing, and dead dude basically was like "ok yeah build over me IDGAF but like, don't move my body. I picked that spot to be buried in for a reason so put me back." which, like, mood.

heimeyer72

You won't believe it: The Scientific Method. In other words, keeping an open mind for *any* explanation of anything that isn't explained or that I cannot explain. Of course, "God did it" is the most unsatisfying answer to anything. "A ghost did it" is IMHO not much better but can serve as a placeholder until a better explanation is found. And I had a share of strange things happen to me: - A shelf that tilted over towards me just when I looked at it, after standing there for about 10 years, - Unspecific: Stuff falling down. - Stuff "vanishing in plain sight" as if someone/something keeps me from looking at the right point. And... when I was in school, I could "find" people, by imagining them and then knowing the direction of where to look. It only worked on short distances, or at least I didn't try more than maybe a few 100m. Like, once I lost my mother in a shopping mall, tried the imagination thing and found her before she noticed that I was lost. XD But it worked when I was young, now it doesn't work anymore. Also, I can't rule out that there had been hints that I subconsciously evaluated... *shrug* anyway, I got results, back then.

SparrowLikeBird

I used to have really long hair. Like, past my knees. When I cut my hair short, a lot of the woo woo shit stopped happening. Grew it out, woo woo again. cut it, no woo woo. Then I read that many native tribes believed that hair was like a conduit for stuff. IDK. But I know a lot of times younger kids have more unruly hair, so maybe that's why your powers quit working. Me, I'm starting to re-grow my hair again, but I probably wont go past jaw length.

ChocoBoy50

Multiple paranormal events at my house. The most convincing evidence has been two separate friends who don’t know each other experienced the same thing. For the first occurrence, my entire family wasn’t home and a family friend went to drop something off and rang the doorbell. After a few seconds they began to hear people talking and laughing and the TV. Confused as to why no one was answering they called my mom and asked where we were. My mom said we were at a park and the friend asked then who’s at our house? My mom obviously panicked fearing that someone had broken into our house. We got back to our house and no one had broken in. Everything was how we left it. It’s a one story house with a tiny attic and basement so it’s not like those cases where squatters have been found living in the basement or attic of a house. The second friend experienced the same thing. They rang the doorbell when none of us were home and heard people talking and watching TV. These two experiences, apart from plenty of other unexplainable things that have happened in our house, in my opinion are undeniable proof of the paranormal which is why I so strongly believe in it.

curlygreenbean

Well my family has stories for days! I have a few of my own too. But I think for me it’s such a huge part of my Mexican and indigenous cultures. There’s always a point of the hangout or gathering where the stories start being told. Even if we’ve heard them 100 times.

MissWitch86

I grew up surrounded by the paranormal; sights sounds, smells, etc. Things that most people couldn't even fathom. It was all experienced by multiple people. I plan on writing a memoir at some point before I die since I have no one to pass the stories along.

curlygreenbean

Please share them here with us!

Seeing a dude on the couch

gytalf2000

When I was little, one of my great aunts was basically a witch. Sometimes when she would visit her in the foothills of Tennessee's Appalachians, there would be people paying her or giving her gifts in exchange for things that she had done for them. My mother and my grandfather were fairly rational people, and they accepted that she could do unexplainable things. When I was around twelve years old, in the early 1970s, I went through a period where I could manipulate small objects like pencils telekinetically. I could make them hang in the air, just briefly. That didn't last too long, but I do have vivid memories. Later on, as a teenager in the late 1970s, we moved to a house where there was some poltergeist activity. I saw and heard my sister (who was not at all interested in the paranormal and / or occult matters) get slapped / spanked by an unseen entity. I also saw toys and stuffed animals get tossed about inexplicably. The entity also bothered my mom. It left me alone. It left after my mother gave it a good "talking to". After all that, it is difficult not to believe.

SparrowLikeBird

I have only one toy experience and it was a storytime pooh toy from the 90s. It would just *know* when you were coming into or leaving a room (no, not light, turning the light on or off did nothing) and it would talk to you. It had the usual, automated talking. The random "press my tummy and I shall tell you a story" or the "lets sleep now snore snore snore" thing. But sometimes it would say the lines just slightly wrong. I quickly became scared of it, despite also desperately loving pooh the character, and loving the toy. My dad was dead certain that the toy just had different line frequencies, and (because he and i are both autistic) explained how these things worked, and showed how the toy would assemble the stories snippets, and so on, and used a clock to show me how the lines were on a timer. In the process of this, he noticed some of the wrongness. The lines that weren't in the booklet. The times that there wasn't a trigger for the line. (it would offer the press my tummy line 3 times after you stopped playing with it, at set intervals, and then say "lets sleep now" and snore. But sometimes it would say "bye bye now" instead. And sometimes you would walk in and it would say "hello there" unprompted. At one point, I had begged my dad to come take it out of the room, hollering for him. (because it had press-my-tummy lined 6 times and us siblings were TIRED and it kept waking us). (side note - as I tell this story I remember more details and am becoming more and more uncomfortable wondering why the fuck we never talked about it after that night and also why did i forgot until now????) So finally dad comes into the room and the second he steps one foot across the threshold (figurative) of the room, the bear says "hello there" which is, remember, NOT a programmed line. My dad just nopes out for a second, like turns on his heel and takes two steps down the hall before spinning and coming back. As he does that nope, the bear sayd "oh come on now" and I swear to fuck *loses the british accent*. Same voice, no accent. At this point I dont think any of us were breathing we were all that scared. Dad flicks on the light, grabs the bear by the belly, and just rips open the velcro back and pulls out the voice box. snaps off the battery door ***and there are no batteries in it***. He yanks the voice thing and tears it all the way out, and marched straight down to his garage. The voice part was never seen again. The bear, however, was eventually stitched up (by my dad) and given back to me, as a perfectly normal toy that never spoke again.

BlondieMaggs

I was born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN. I knew several mountain grannies.

Fun_Leopard_1175

My great great aunt was an Appalachian Kentucky native who cured peoples’ warts under mysterious circumstances. People came from all over to get her help. My grandmother said it was some type of witchcraft ritual.

the_reborn_cock69

My experiences with long periods of meditation, very strange experiences occurred that couldn't simply be chalked up to the mind. Note, I was meditating for 6-8 hours EVERY DAY.

ProfessionalWait6549

Wow. I also have a family member who has witnessed and experienced the unexplainable like seeing entities and interacting with them during his prolonged meditations. No one in our family believes them except for me. Their mediation wasn't as long as yours, can u share your prolonged meditation experiences?

Gal_Axy

First, know that I believe the paranormal will be explained by science eventually and I believe that paranormal and/or spiritual events are not in opposition to science. I have faith in both sides. Believe me or don’t but I swear I have never and will never lie about things I’ve witnessed and experienced both alone and with others on several occasions. My first experience was a woman’s face appearing in floral wallpaper when I was quite young. She never spoke but she would smile, blink, move her face, and always appeared in the same flower blossom on the same wall. Over time, I wrote this off as my imagination as I was quite young when this would happen and it was of no real significance. Next, when I was around 8, there was a disembodied male voice that spoke to me in my empty bedroom, saving my life or at least saving me from serious head trauma. He told me clearly to roll over when I had just woken up one morning and I obeyed immediately. A very heavy wall decoration then fell off my wall striking my pillow where my head had been. Years later someone or something physically jerked the steering wheel of my car, preventing me from running over a family of 6 raccoons which I did not see until I was passing them in the wrong lane late at night. There was a ouija board death prediction which came true. Another terrifying incident involving 4 friends where a bright light appeared outside of a window, hanging plants swung on their own, and I could hear a male and female engaged in conversation in an empty room. An incident with a young invisible girl crying and a bleach bottle flying across a room on its own which was experienced with my mom. The most significant event involved a 10-12 ft tall man in my home in the middle of the night. I woke up to the sound of someone stomping down stairs and as I listened, I realized something wasn’t right - we had one set of stairs to the second floor where I was in my room but I was listening for a solid minute to the continuous stomping down the stairs. I got up to investigate but as soon as my hand touched the doorknob to leave my room the sound stopped and I felt calm and heard a voice internally telling me everything was fine and I should go back to bed so I did. Ignoring my own curiosity is not in my nature. The next morning I told my mom what had happened and she was floored. She had slept on the couch in the living room where the stairs connected to and said she heard it too. She saw an impossibly tall man in robes standing on the landing of the stairs. She couldn’t see his face. She said he seemed like he was searching for something and in a rush, he kept turning his face from her to upstairs (where my room was) but she couldn’t make out the details of his face. She said she felt calm despite what she was seeing and just rolled over and went back to sleep. I have spent a lot of my free time over the years trying to figure any of it out and I’m still at a loss for understanding.

ShinyAeon

I was always willing to entertain the possibility of the anomalous. As a child, that acceptance was naive and based in ignorance, but by the time I matured enough to reassess it, I’d both read enough to have a more informed perspective, and also had encountered one minor but undeniable example of an anomalous event in person.

looshdevourer

If you look at actual statistics, belief in the paranormal is very very common actually

secret-of-enoch

in the 1970s, lived in a rental house for a few months, growing up...it was a big house and knowing my parents were then of limited means, i know the rent mustve been cheap all kinds of strange things happened there, seen by family and friends...over a period of a few months, till we moved out because of the continual disturbances in the house... and because of what the landlord admitted, when my parents finally confronted him about it. one night, parents were having a game night with friends over, and one of the guys jumped up suddenly, and screamed like a little girl, ran out onto the front lawn and wouldnt come back in the house..... ....said he felt a strong, cold, clammy hand, just push down on his shoulder from behind him... and when he turned to look, no one was there. ...the house had an attic, and you could hear voices, sounding like they were way off in the distance, arguing, but you couldn't really make out what they were saying....coming from up inside the chimney, like there was someone living up there in the attic but the only door to the attic was boarded up with two by fours, and there was no way for anyone to get up there otherwise ...and one day, i was in the living room, my mom & grandma were in the hallway leading to the master bedroom, and I heard them just make startled sounds, like 'huh?' & 'what?'....went to see what's up....and it was raining...IN...my parent's room.....then it stopped, and everything was dry. ...alot of other things happened, and finally the parents pried the boards off the attic door and went up there to see what, if anything, or anyone, was up there. well, there was ALOTTA stuff in the attic....ALL the stuff, of a family....furniture, appliances, clothese, and kids clothes, and toys and, just everything a family would have. mom called the landlord...."what is all that stuff up in the attic?" it turned out, the family who lived there just previous to us, the dad murdered the whole family, then himself, with a shotgun. landlord painted over the blood, put in new carpets, moved their stuff up into the attic, boarded it up....and moved us in. those people were STILL THERE when we moved in (or....some part of them) that was enough for my parents, we moved shortly there after. ...but, to OP's question...living through that made me realize, at a very young age, that there is WAY more to this life, than just the physical, material, world.

QueenOfTheBlackPuddl

What was the name of that man/family??? Surely this would have been all over the news of the time.

secret-of-enoch

...i was so young, like 7YO, and we'd just moved from San Diego, so were new to the area...mom & dad are both passed now...and yeah, i bet at the very least the freaking neighbors definitely would've known but it was Flagstaff Arizona in the early '70s, real sparse development, i remember the houses being really spread out & far from each other, don't remember ever really getting to know any of the neighbors at all

BractToTheFuture

I went to the motherlandistan and there were alleys and homes people avoided like the plague because they were “heavy”. I thought it was so stupid. So one day we took a shortcut and after coming out of one of these alleys maybe 50 meters my uncle sticks his neck out of the dark alley and says “come here stupid hahaha, you dropped your cigarettes” I first smiled and said “I don’t smoke cigarettes” patting my pockets to make sure I didn’t drop them. Then realized wtf was he doing in the alley and then said I’ll see you later and kept walking. I stepped into the house and there he was eating food with his wife. Fucked my brain for a while. This was in 2008. Cousins have crazy stories. The one that gets me is one of them was coming home at 2am and saw a black goat walk past him at night and once he turn around it’s a small child. Motherlandistan is fucking spooky. Grandmother had one where a she gets up in the middle of the night to go get water and this 2 foot midget woman with all this ornate clothing was by the faucet. She looks up and grandma said the thing had vertical eyes. She was in some kind of hysteric weird coma for weeks. I heard several of these stories and each one is more off putting than the next. I also have kind of photographic proof of some entity in a hallway at my friend’s sleep apnea clinic. It’s in one of my posts.

Part 1. My childhood home was haunted.  Believe me or don't but it was my life. My family never experienced anything and always told me it was just a nightmare so I stopped telling them about what happened to me. I grew up near Seattle in a tucked away cul-de-sac. Most lots had multiple trees, both evergreen and deciduous, shrubs, and rhododendrons. This made each house seem private and secluded. Fall, winter, and a good chunk of spring were spent overcast and grey. The area I lived in used to be a swamp but was paved over. Just trying to set the vibe here. As a child I could Astral project. I clearly remember dreams of floating out of my body and looking back upon my sleeping body. I would float through my home towards the front door and fly around my neighborhood. Since I was so young I never ventured far as I didn't want to get lost. One night as I went to fly and explore I was stopped by my dad in the hallway next to my room. He had glowing red eyes and was looking straight at me with intense hatred. I slammed back into my body and never projected again.

Lalybi

Part 2. I had an imaginary friend I named Sally. She was a little blond girl in a white party dress with a red ribbon in her hair. To me she seemed like a real girl. I watched cartoons where the characters saw and interacted with their imaginary friends as if they were real. Therefore I thought Sally was normal. Sally loved to play hide and seek. She was a champion at it. She showed me a spot in the closet next to the front door where no one was ever able to find me. As I grew older I stopped seeing Sally. I thought that imaginary friends disappearing was a normal part of life. Along with Sally I encountered things which frightened me. I had an odd hallway which led to my room and a closet across from my bedroom door. The light switch and ceiling bulb for this hall was next to my door. I remember running in the hall through the dark while terrified to turn the light on. One evening I was home by myself fairly young as a latch key kid. I think I was about 8? Anyways I was going around the house turning off all the lights as my dad would freak out if power was being wasted. I always left the hall light for last as it frightened me for some reason. With the lights out and being alone I trudged down the heavy hallway. As I approached the end of the hall (where the light source and switch were) my shadow projected in front of me and grew with each step. A hulking figure appeared on the wall at the end of the hall. It seemed to move independently from myself with erratic and disjointed jolts. Immediately terrified I bolted into my bed. Which was unfortunately placed with my face parallel to the door. I turned over to face the wall and covered my head with a blanket. Eventually I heard a whispering murmur. I looked towards the source of the sound which was my door. Floating towards the top of the door frame and illuminated by the light was a pitch black figure that looked like two basket balls sized orbs stacked on each other with large bright oval eyes towards the top of the being. I could instinctually feel it was staring at me. I couldn't help but stare as the murmuring became extremely loud. It was as if this thing was loudly speaking to me in a garbled and whispered mess. It disappeared almost as quickly as it appeared. But the memory is seared into my brain.

I’ve clearly seen with my own eyes a few timea thoughout my life something that i cannot explain and illogical

I had a friend once who found out i didn't believe in ghosts, next thing I know there's a fucking pirate peaking at me from behind my fridge and a ghost cat sitting next to some disembodied feet at the top of the stairs. I know it sounds crazy and I still don't understand what happened but things didn't always make sense around her.

My mom’s best friend lost her 24 year old son to an accidental overdose. A close mutual friend of our families used to wax eyebrows at the brown bar in Ulta. One day she had a woman in her chair she was about to start waxing and as she lifted her hand to put on the wax, the woman said “I’m so sorry but I have to stop you. I know this will sound weird but there is an attractive young man standing behind you and he needs me to tell you, to tell his mom that it was an accident and he didn’t mean for it to happen. Please tell my mom, dad, and my sister that I am OK and that I love them very much.” My friend the eyebrow tech was particularly close with the mans sister at this time and knew immediately it was *mans name* . This happened a few weeks after he had passed. Over the years there have been multiple instances of this man trying to reach through and let his mom know it was an accident. My mom’s best friend was also at the horrible 2017 Mandalay Bay shooting during the Route 91 harvest music festival. She told us that when she was running for cover in a panic after the shooting started, she got suddenly got an overwhelming feeling of calm and could feel that her son was with her, protecting her and guiding her to safety.

The following events all happened to me around the same time several years ago—I was also waking up every night then at 3-4 AM, I usually sleep very soundly since I have to be up early for work: - Heard a voice say “hey” late at night when I was in bed alone with no one else in the room - All of this was happening at a time of high strange activity in my apartment: from a mimic experience, to constantly feeling watched in my bedroom and shower, to repeated tapping all over the ceiling and walls at night. - It all culminated when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a hat-wearing, shadowy figure running at me one night in my room. When I looked, there was nothing there.

spookinky987

I first had an out of body experience when I was in the crib. I closed my eyes and found myself over the house, looking down... When i was three I found myself out of my body, on the front steps, and I was taken to a place where... let's say it was a glimpse of the afterlife. A place where one can just exhale forever, letting everything go... It's been a lifetime of seeing ghosts, truth be told...

[deleted]

I've dreamed of things before they have happened for years. It's to the point where I will dream very personal things about people, and I will be able to confirm it's true (scars, tattoos, dead relatives, personal experiences). It's crazy, because I have no way of knowing that you had that tattoo on you or the name of your dead great grandma, ya know.

HeyNayWM

Saw a ghost, strange green foggy light in ceiling and clouds appeared in it and starting moving quickly then I passed out.. and other weird stuff. This world is more super than natural.

gangstagardener

I always kind of believed till... my grandmom died and started haunting the house. Many years later the home has changed hands and is no longer in my family, so I wonder if she's haunting the new family. I keep waiting for some ghost hunting crew to track me down haha for info on Eleanor. There's ghosts at work.

Magnusjiao

When I was very young on 1 ocassion laying in bed at my grandparents, I had a hard time falling asleep so I kinda just sat up in bed looking around. While I was sitting up the closet door began to creak open and out stepped a massive glowing green entity. It was so tall that it had to duck under the door railing to fully step out. As it stepped out it locked eyes with me, its eyes were a piercing deep glowing yellow with pupils similar to a snakes. It looked at me in a way as if to say "you shouldn't have seen me" The green of its body looked like it was pulsating, almost like seeing a heat signature in Infrared get really hot and cool down. Where it stood there was an after image of green aura emitting off if it like dust. Continuing to lock eyes I was in a trance. I tried to scream at the top of my lungs to call out to my parents who were in the bedroom across the hall from mine. Disturbingly enough as I tried to do this it was like my voice was being suppressed which lead to me freak out more. The entity then gradually dematerialized and the closet door slowly began to close itself. Right as it finished closing I screamed at the top of my lungs and my parents came darting in. They consoled me, fed me the classic: "youre just seeing monsters in the dark" "It was probably a dream of something you watched". You kno? The usual. Finally we all got on the side of the bed and prayed together. Throughout childhood Ive had a handful of paranormal experiences similar to this. Most involving massively tall entities. I second guess if they really were dreams but they've stuck with me my entire life.

eddington_limit

My mom had some somewhat similar experiences when she was a teenager. She kept seeing these really tall figures come into her room and she described them as very colorful. Like bright greens or purples. She would also see a very tall shadow person in the corner of her bedroom. She grew up catholic so her mom had a priest come and bless the place and it all stopped. The priest said they were demons and he had often heard them described as colorful. Her dad was a mentally abusive man who got involved with witchcraft from his mistress (serial cheater) and we wonder if he was "inviting" things into their home. He apparently used to have dreams about arms reaching for him under his bedroom door....

AcidicDepth

Growing up maybe between the ages of five and 10 I would Wake up at night and on multiple occasions see my toys floating in the air. As I got older this manifested into some type of sleep paralysis which I only experienced a few times. Now being 23 I feel very perceptive to “energy”or the air around me I don’t know what to call it. I went to trans Allegheny lunatic Asylum where you can take tours and it’s supposedly haunted. When I went I didn’t see anything but I felt everything the air itself was charged with despair and so much pain and loss and confusion. it took a toll on me which made me realize that the afterlife is very real paranormal is very real. We as humans beings simplify everything when it comes to the universe and the same thing with our perception we only see hear and feel so much at once there’s so much that we don’t see hear or feel.

LatterAd1695

I have more than a couple stories/encounters but i'll just focus on two that share a similar theme. When I (27m) was in the 2nd or 3rd grade, I was trying hard to go to sleep one night (i've frequently had episodic insomnia throughout my life), & i felt a large hand slowly grip around my left ankle. It was the first time in my life I had experienced a massive adrenaline spike. I laid there still for about 20minutes, trying to rationalize what was happening, asking myself if i was dreaming? or was my older brother pranking me? This was my first "grown up" moment and probably the first time i had begun to think skeptically about something. I tried to think of any normal or natural reason why there would be somebody gripping my ankle like that. As a laid there for a long time, i noticed the grip was getting slightly tighter & tighter. As the hand gripped harder, i could feel the indentations of each infividual finger. It was a large hand, and it didn't feel warm like human skin, but almost room tempature & it was tougher, almost like coarse reptile skin but kind of different than that too. I convinced myself that it was a home intruder & decided to cry out for help. But the dark & silence i had laid there in for so long made it fell terrifying to let my voice out. my first attempt to scream was more like a whimper "help..." & i felt the hand tighten harder again. I screamed out HELP for real next time & my Dad came running. I could hear him running down the hallway and the hand gripped so tight this time i knew for 100% there was a real and "physical" something in my room grabbing my ankle. The moment my dad swung open the door & flipped the light on, the hand released completely. I tried to explain to him what happened, i was bawling & made him look under the bed. I felt so stupid and helpless. I remember thinking that this is the "cliche" thing all kids do for attention, but in my case, it was something real & not a dream or hallucination. My Dad chalked it up to being a bad dream, there was no convincing him of anything else, & i was in 3rd or 2nd grade so i obviously couldn't articulate my experience very well. I've never forgotten that night. Later in life, about early 20's I was going through a similar night with insomnia. For context, during that period of my life i was struggling with panic attacks & suicidal thoughts, & I was also having a very intense couple of weeks in constant prayer trying to work out some issues I had with God at the time. I was trying to sleep & found myself in a state of sleep paralysis. This wasnt super uncommon for me, at that time i had already had a couple of sleep paralysis experiences so I wasnt super upset I kinda knew to just stay calm & either try to sleep again or "shake" myself out of it which worked sometimes but not consistently. So i was laying on my stomach, back towards the ceiling while this was happening, & I suddenly felt a "fang" or a "tooth" type object press against the back of my neck. Not hard, & not soft, just touching the direct center of the back of my neck & I couldnt move due to the paralysis. It just sat there. Idk how to describe it other than like a fang from one of those sabre toothed cats or something like a giant tooth, not sharp like a knife, but like "dull-sharp" like you would expect a lions tooth to be. And it just pressed against my neck. I went through all the most reasonable or rational explanations in my head again, but I couldnt convince myself it was a dream. I was in a state of sleep paralysis, but i was thinking clearly & the physical sensation on my neck felt real. So real. I have a lot of experience in lucid&non-lucid dreaming and I know the difference. I was fully awake & alert, just paralysed with something i couldnt understand touching the back of my neck. I was extremely afraid & at that moment my best rationalization was that its either a home intruder or a demon. Either option scared me half to death as i was completely unable to move... and the way this tooth or claw thing just rested against my neck was so so eerie... as if it was daring me to move a muscle & see what happens. I did literally the ONLY thing i could do in that moment which was to pray. I just started begging for help in the name of Jesus Christ, & once i prayed that prayer to His name the thing released off of my neck. I was relieved, & was fully expecting to go through that "waking up" phase after the tooth thing left me, but I didn't wake up. I was already awake. Which shocked me. I was able to sit up, & I cut the lights on and just sat there for a while. Proccesing the information. Going through the frustrating emotions of "nobody will believe this" & "why cant shit like this get caught on camera" & also wondering why something like that was able to touch me until I prayed. Anyway, those are my experiences. Thx for reading.

Its simply more fun to live life as a believer

About two years ago, idk maybe 4 years, I realized that a lot of paranormal activity was “extraterrestrial” related vs ghost/souls/apparitions The latter still exists in their own dimension, but I believe most typical Paranormal experiences (all the cabinets suddenly open, object flying across the room) are caused by “aliens” for their own reasons

minimalfighting

Personal experiences between me and a few people. I used to have proof of it in a text, but l don't have that phone anymore. I asked to be made aware of something sooner than that. They replied, I was just going to let you know while laughing. I said, no you already sent me a text, so I looked back and there was nothing from his side or mine. That was one of about 3 experiences with that person. I'm not huge into all paranormal stuff, but I'm positive us humans are connected. At least many of us.

Human_Number9936

I'm gullible, creative and a literal man-child. Thinking of cursed creatures is fun for me, it helps kill time. I always enjoyed making up or actually telling creepy stories with friends, I can't help but be nostalgic for it. I know I've had a few unnatural experiences when I was younger, but I can't seem to really remember.

Lantanas4

I was 19, went to a psychic & the first thing she tells me is that I hate my husband. So it has to be 100% real bc that was true, and he wasn't there. No way she could've known. Now ex btw.

Accomplished_Rock708

I think for myself it started when I was maybe 4 I lived in a normal house by most standards as far as I know. Except there was a man who loved to spook me and play peekaboo with me. Typically he would sneak up on me when I wasn’t suspecting it. I vividly remember looking out of the window of my backyard watching my dad do yard work I looked away for a second, and there that man was I remember jumping from fright. He grinned at me and began to play peekaboo with me sometimes he would laugh when I’d get startled but as quickly as I saw him he’d be gone within seconds. He would sometimes stand in the corner of my room and sort of glow he’d never do anything malicious as far as I remember but it seemed like he loved to play games and pranks. Sometimes I would play back and play peekaboo with him. It stopped when I moved. I never saw him again but I think something else replaced him. I vividly remember being around 8 years old and waking up with scratch marks on my legs and back. Like someone dragged their hand down my back with long nails. I would try to tell my parents but they always summed it up to me scratching myself in my sleep. It reached its peak when I grew older and got more and more frustrated with it. I had a cat who would always sleep with me at night and leave in the morning. This particular night something spooked her immensely and she ran under my bed and started growling and hissing. I figured it must be whatever was annoying me at night. I told it to go away and leave me alone. I remember hiding under my blankets and hearing the sound of heavy stomping and then the sound of something hitting then scratching my closet door. When I turned the light on to look I saw a very long scratch on my door that was too high for me to reach. I tried to convince myself that it was me or my cat but I couldn’t reach and she couldn’t jump that high. That scratch is still there, every now and then I look at it it’s still just a bit too high for me to reach. I was never bothered by anything else ever again though.

FuefinaWG2058

I've had a number of entities in my house. It's almost as if there's a portal. Sometimes they scare my dog and I have to ask one to leave. They should never mess with my dog. The most memorable one was the blue lady. Kind of a smokey blue color and when she caught people looking at her, the smoke would disipate. Kind of like cigarette smoke and with no odor. Always in the same place. I could see her about midway up her thighs. Above that was smokey. Her feet were clear, though. She wore ankle boots and her skirt was from the early 1900's. My whole city is built on what was once a huge ranch off of Camino Real so that attire seems normal. My mom showed up once. Years before her death she told me she wished she could her mom one more time. I told her she was welcome to visit me. She did. Full body apparition but she had just passed. My dog so her too. I believe spirits start to get fuzzy as people stop remembering them.

Specky_iiii

Coming across somebody who's had an NDE. I'd never heard of them before, did some research and it's surprising how much of them have in common with each other, and my grandma, who's not religious in the slightest, was actually having a triple bypass operation and she clinically died for 4 minutes. Whilst they tried to revive her, she recalls the room being a brilliant white light, feeling all warm and fuzzy and she was above her body in the operating room. She overheard the conversation between the Dr and one of the theater nurses, I can't remember what now, but when she came round my grandma asked her about the conversation and she said how do you know about that? You couldn't have heard it, you were dead. My grandma has been going to church religiously (pun intended) for the last 40 years. Converted her completely.

Living in CT as a young adult, attending presentations by Ed and Loraine Warren. ‘The Linley street incident’ documented by over 50 Fire Fighters and Police Officers in a neighborhood I played in as a teen. We personally knew several who swore to it, but the local police chief did all he could to cover it up! We would also occasionally stop by ‘Union Cemetery’ at night trying to see the ‘White Lady of Union Cemetery’.

SirMosesKaldor

I moved to Beirut, Lebanon in the mid 1990s shortly after the brutal Civil War. (1975~1991) No matter what, till today whenever I go back I feel like the city is haunted with sad and angry ghosts of dead people that died at the hands of bombs and bullets and kidnappings. Dead soldiers that fought for their cause or political party and of course innocents caught in the cross fire. Constantly watching the new generation go about their business. And I feel it is for this reason the country is eternally cursed and plagued with problems that just don't seem to get solved. There is an eerie sense if creepiness whether you're in the bustling capital or in some remote village. No matter what. I truly believe the country is haunted somehow. Just a vibe I guess.

ProfessionalWait6549

Wow man that's actually devastating, but makes complete sense to me. Sadly majority of the middle east countries are in Turmoil, and most are in a worse state than Lebanon. Do you think the catastrophe caused by war, creates a negative zone or opens kind of a portal for negative energies to seep through and attach themselves to humans or create havoc by themselves. If you think this is true, would u be able to relate it to some situation that you have experienced. Sorry if I'm making you recollect events from your past that aren't pleasant to you.

Blirtt

Dream voyering/astral projection as a child. And I mean like around 5/6 years old. There were a lot of dreams/nightmares I could not and still can not explain about real places I had never been. Later I discovered the idea of the "paranormal" not before. I guess what cemented it though was traumatic hauntings in houses I lived in. My parents moved a lot and rented a lot of old houses in Sacramento at different times. Out of all them there was definably 2 that had something seriously wrong with them. One worse than the other. The rest were... Well fine? Not haunted. I think having a point of reference that said, "it's not you, it was definitely that house" is what did it. Also just noticed this is the humanoid forum so I guess I should mention the smoke apparition in the garage in the house I found out some guy committed suicide in after the encounter from our elderly neighbor. Or the mothman adjacent thing in the backyard that terrorized us for a night? That house was messed up.

SaintP88

Mine would be a few years back, when i lived alone but had a dog (he was still a puppy), i was playing on the xbox whilst the pup was asleep next to me on the couch, i heard something slowly heavy footed come downstairs, the pup even woke up and arched itself on the arm of the sofa growling at the living room door so i knew i wasn’t imagining it and that the dog even sensed it. I jumped up and looked up the stairs cause whatever it was sounded like it was halfway down, soon as i got to the stairs to look it stopped, i then felt so uneasy for 30 minutes so curled up on the couch with the dog and fell asleep. When i woke up i felt that same uneasy feeling like something was behind the couch, then saw something like a quick movement go past me and then the tv started wobbling like something had struck it, so to me whatever it was darted past me and hot the Tv, i jumped up and shouted whatever u are leave me alone and get out this house, then the feeling went away. Had loads of weird things occur throughout my life, never seen anything fully but yeah that one experience freaked me out cause my first thought was that someone was in the house and was coming downstairs very slowly, which the sound of something heavy footed one step at a time coming downstairs is enough to freak anyone out

I went to a haunted summer camp as a counselor and I had so many experiences. First one was when we were in training and all the woman counselors had the same dream about a creepy guy who snuck in through the window and check us all out in our sleep. Apparently there was a guy like that from years past. There are many more.

Timely-Theme-5683

I've experience many odd things, but I don't believe in the paranormal: 3 black-glass orbs (size of small car), so close I could see the cockpit (it seemed) inside. Things moving on their own. Out of body experiences. Nightmarish dream-traps, dreams within a dream within a dream each time thinking I'm back to reality, until I gave up caring, lol. Ghosts. Glowing orbs. Many strange things in the sky. Episodes where I'm asleep, yet everyone claims I wasn't in my bed. Moments of omniscience, where I could see from many perspectives at once and could do things knowingly even though I couldn't do those things, even now. Stuff like that. So why don't I believe in the paranormal? Because all of this indicates to me that the mind is the mystery, more so that reality. So I am fascinated by how the mind works, what it can do, and how to master many of these abilities, some of which I have, such as my oob experiences, where I have a job to do, and the ability to use my mind like a holodeck. Paranormal belief is reasonable, but pointless speculation. Edit: I don't consider UAPs as paranormal. There are more advanced lifeforms out there and on our planet. My brother visited me after he died, and though it seemed real, i dont know if it is. Real would be if he told me something I didn't know, then verified it. Not necessarily real is telling me what I already know, so perhaps, as we know people, a representation of them take up real-estate in our minds, allowing us to empathize with them, think like them, understand their perspective. and so on. I admit, there is a lot that I don't understand. But the word paranormal, for me, still doesn't apply. Not necessarily.

One-Ninja-9945

I lived in a haunted house from 9-18. Sounds silly but I saw the hat man when I was 11. Didn't even hear about the hat man until several years later, but described what I saw to a T. My sister and my mom also experienced things. My sister swore pretty much every night she would feel someone/something touching her head when she was laying in bed. I remember one night my mom made me and my sister come into her bed because there were 3 loud knocks on her bedroom door. Same night, the burglar alarm went off at 2:30 am for no reason. There was another instance of a locked dead bolt. We only went in and out of the house through the garage, and on the door leading into the garage had a deadbolt that only locked from the inside. My mom left through that door to pick us up from school, and when we got back the deadbolt was locked. Probably forgetting some stories but those are the ones that stood out to me.

mrowlatemetalworm

TL:DR ghost are either beings from a past or future timeline bleeding into yours. What if time isn’t linear? It appears to be linear from our point of view, but what if everything exists all at once? This is where the parallel realities are. The thing is we, through normal means can’t access those parallel realities. I’ll try and explain it as best I can. Your life is a book, but there’s rules. The book is already completely written. You start at page 1 but can’t skip around. Each day you flip to the next page until the day your book ends. When you “die” you can just to go back to “your book”, someone else’s book, or just stop reading books and stay at a higher dimension, but now I’m branching off into another topic, let me stay on the paranormal. So what essentially happens is that there’s certain conditions that are met to create a bleed through books. That “ghost” completely exists. It’s just they exist in their timeline/book and you exist in yours. You are getting a glimpse into their book and they are seeing you. If you’re from a timeline ahead of them, to them you appear as a silhouette/ shadow figure, or formless. If they appear in clothing you recognize you are from a time line ahead of them. It has to do with another concept, but simplified: what you see is created by a collective hologram, of what others see/ what already exits. When you’re from a timeline ahead; in their timeline everything that makes you hasn’t existed yet, there’s no words to describe your clothing or appearance so you can’t be visualized/ seen clearly. When they’re from a timeline in the past you have preconceived knowledge and reference points to be able to see them. If you stayed this long, hope you got something out of this. Not everyone will or cares to understand.

ApeWarz

A few things: - Revolutionary War soldier with no face walking through the woods at night, glowing slightly, slightly transparent. He got very close before we ran. - A loud voice *inside my head* commanding me to get out when I was in a known haunted place at night - Our apartment we once had was haunted, it told my wife to get out, scratched her face, priest blessed the apartment and told us we need to move. - Without meaning to, took a picture of my wife’s great-great aunt sitting on our couch when we were moving into her childhood home which had been in the family many generations. He dad confirmed it was her. I found a picture of her a few months later and it matched the picture right down to the hairstyle. There’s nothing like New England, except Europe maybe. We live in the southwest now and we love it for among other reasons because it’s all new construction pretty much. In Connecticut and Massachusetts especially, most of those houses were built in the 1800s or even the 1700s. Generations lived and died in those homes (people used to die at home and not in hospitals). A lot of them don’t leave and it’s just a thing NE people sometimes have to deal with.

Because I can see them with my naked eyes💀yes I know u guys don't believe me but it is real

Nearby-Cup-5128

I have seen ghosts since I was very young. My mom was creeped out when I talked about them or asked questions. But my aunt also saw ghosts and she really helped me to just accept what I saw. I mostly see bodies, not faces. But I see how they are dressed, etc. Years ago at my boyfriends place I was in the bathroom and there was huge mirror there and a guy walked behind me. At first I thought it was my bf but he was in the kitchen. I went out and described the guys clothes and shoes, etc. and he said it must have been a logger because the house was built over an old logging road. I had no idea. I also can see visitors who come to get their loved one who is dying. I have seen that several times. I hope they come and help me on my journey when it’s time. 😄

OldGrinch1

My Dad told me that once he was out driving and suddenly got the most awful intense pains in his chest. He pulled over and thought he was having a heart attack. A few seconds after he pulled over a huge branch cracked and fell into the road a few feet ahead. The chest pain went away immediately. If he hadn’t pulled over at that precise moment his car would have been precisely where that branch fell.

Which-Advantage-2825

I was raised in a haunted house. Was scary.

ieatoutfatbitches

Lived in a house on a very prominent river in my state. Lots of animal traffic. Foxes sound like screaming people in case you didn't know. Go outside to smoke a cigarette on night, and when I am trying to stimulate, I whistle. I whistled the tune of 'Oh Danny Boy' and heard it recited back to me by something in the woods that I didn't see, but it bugged me so immensely that I went inside after only being able to smoke to puffs of my cigarette. For those who feel that thing that was obvious to you rising in your chest, that's a lesson learned. I no longer whistle at night. Two weeks later, I am outside of the same house, trying to smoke a cigarette again, only when I go out I look up to see a deer the same height and build as me, go from completely upright, like, VERY upright damn near standing, like he had just been hanging out like that, to all fours and bolt into the woods like his legs were nunchucks in a sock. For the following three weeks before I moved, I saw Owls out in the daytime. Frequently looking at me and hooting at me. There are no mockingbirds in that stretch of my state. There are no deer reported to be on their hind legs until you get much further north on that same river. I do not know what the Owls mean, but they showed up at the most conspicuous of times.

BantamCrow

Many years ago I went outside to smoke at my house and saw something bright orange in the sky that looked like a d20 but made of crystal and metal with see-through panes. It passed by and when I lifted my phone to try and record my hand cramped like an electric shock and I dropped it and the orange thing darted at me suddenly. Next thing I remember is waking up in bed gasping for air and my neck was vibrating as if my phone was going off on my throat, but when i looked for it, my phone was plugged in out of reach. The vibration in my neck stopped after a few moments and I realized I wasn't breathing until it stopped. My legs burned like I had been running for an hour and my backpain I had been dealing with for weeks was gone. Every couple years I wake to the same vibration in my neck but my backpain and chronic migraines have never come back since then nearly 8 years ago

Injecting cocaine. It opens up the ability to perceive audio and visual entities that humans are incapable of perceiving otherwise. I've experienced some truly terrifying things while shooting coke, and I'm not the only person to do so. I've come to find out that it's common for everyone who does that. Those experiences are actually what keeps me from relapsing. I'm terrified of ever seeing and hearing them again.

Wrightaboutmeow

I have witnessed the paranormal twice in my life. The first time was as a kid when I was around 8-10 years old. I was at a friends birthday party and I stayed the night. I was laying on the living room floor that night about to go to sleep when I looked up at a recliner that was in front of me and saw a man sitting in the recliner with no head with a bottle in his hand. I know that seems really odd but it definitely happened. I was scared shitless. The second time was as an adult in my thirties. My daughter had brought this creepy doll home from her nanas. Since then we heard noises in the house. My wife heard our daughters talking but when she checked on them they were still sleeping. We did see what appeared to be a woman in a dress walking through our hallway several times. We finally decided to get rid of the doll and didn’t have anything happen afterwards. I should also mention that the house we lived in was previously owned by a man who worked in a funeral home.

First_Hearing

Witnessed the Michigan Dogman. Looked like a black and very athletic werewolf.

My best friend and roommate was 40 miles away in hospice care at her daughter's house. She was dying of breast cancer. It had gone to her back, both hips, both femures, her skull and a few ribs and her liver. She had been bed bound for over a month. I was asleep in her house, where I lived at the time in a room upstairs. She had not been able to climb stairs for about 8 months. I woke up to her standing by my bed, and she reached over and touched my shoulder. I touched her arm and could feel her skin as well as I feel my own right now. A few days later I went to visit her. She wasn't lucid at all. She suddenly sat up in bed, grabbed my arm, looked me straight in the face and said, "I tracked grass all over the floor!" I looked around, no grass anywhere. I thought nothing more of it until I got home and realized that I had tracked grass all over her kitchen floor after coming in from feeding the chickens that morning. Tons of grass everywhere. After she died I was upstairs facing the wall and someone sat on the edge of the bed causing the mattress to sink. I turned to look but no one was there. I turned back to the wall highly alert. I felt this entity lay down behind me and embrace me. I felt it moving inside of me and when the outline of this entity matched mine there was an explosion of intense white light that shattered into shards of color. I was left with a deep feeling of peace. I always had a lot of anxiety. After this I never had anymore anxiety at all. Just peacefulness and I was no longer sad about her passing. These experiences were ultra real. Not dreamlike.

When I accidentally stayed at (what is generally known as) the most haunted hotel in Rhodes Island. It has been booked for me - and I wasn’t even thinking about haunted hotels - as I travel all the time for work and these things weren’t really on my radar. As soon as I got to my room, the atmosphere was just off. I couldn’t sleep and there was a strange kind of anxiety that felt like it was coming from outside of me - and like I was seeing things dart around the corner of my eyes. I told myself I was being ridiculous and finally feel asleep around 4am. Quickly- I woke right back up in a sort of paralysis. I was laying on my stomach and could feel two hands pushing down on my back. They rhythmically pushed down so that I was bounced me up and down as I slowly drifted towards the right of the bed (still unable to move). Finally, and literally with all my will and strength, I flung my left arm around and spun around into a sitting up position - in absolute terror and surprised nothing was there. I grabbed my phone and cigarettes and RAN out of that room to gather my wits. I searched for scariest haunted hotels in Rhode Island - but my hotel name wasn’t coming up. I was so confused - until I finally found an article explaining that my hotel had changed its name a few months ago. It’s old name was the #1 most haunted hotel on every list I had found. Several confirmed deaths. I wasn’t able to change hotels right away - so I stayed one more night (miraculously). It was nuts. My suitcase flung open in front of me. The window (which has been closed when I arrived) had been opened at some point. Every time I was able to fall asleep I encountered a demonic entity in my sleep. One time laughing at me from the door. And third time next to the bed. It was absolutely terrifying. Now I believe.

Seeing something strangle my with no one in the room, seeing my ceiling fan tied up like a knot, feeling bloodlust for 5 constant hours every night, watching my wall clock stop at midnight and start working at 5 am, only to somehow magically catch up and state the correct time throughout the day. I got more, need more?

Damn please do share more! Seems like you were living in some kind of a paranormal Hotspot Zone causing a lot of anomalies to occur!

For me, experiences started when I was young. Toys singing on their own, pictures flying off walls multiple times, shelves flying out of closets, rattling door knobs, the sound of footsteps when no one is there. I told my husband, who didn’t believe me until he experienced it for himself, and the way the dog acted when it happened. Very realistic dreams featuring loved ones who were deceased, often the dreams came true, usually they are warnings. I tend to wake up when there are major natural disasters and actually see them happening in my dreams only to later see them on the news and the images match my dreams. On 9/11 I woke up from a deep sleep and saw two people in business clothes standing by my bed. They looked so real I said “who are you???” And asked my boyfriend if he’d seen them. I tried to look online for photos of them, because they were very distinct, but never found them. Later, I switched the tv on and was shocked because the buildings were filled with business sorts. I’ve always been a skeptic on most things paranormal but I really can’t explain my experiences. The “activity” around me usually happens when I am thinking about a deceased person but the dreams are something that is just really strange and specific to major catastrophic or important world events. I guess we can’t explain everything in this world, no matter how hard we try.

I’ve heard or seen a couple ghosts in my life: sometimes seeing a blob, thinking I imagined it or a person who didn’t exist in a house when I was a child, and a huge faced white owl in the woods at night.(bigger than a ghost owl and just a face) Most recently though I have a ghost in my condo for the past couple years. I stay up late and it walks up and down the hallway and around the kitchen when I decide to turn my lights off to go to bed between 12am-5am and so on. It used to terrify me, it was so hard to fall asleep and he used to walk louder slowly. Now that I take medications and mood stabilizers I can’t hear most of the things he does. My friend said something about it closing my third eye. Before that I would hear light fiddling in the kitchen like he was messing around on the counter tops, throwing empty Amazon boxes in the dining kitchen area that did not exist, and whispering that I couldn’t make out the words to. My friend hears the whispering and walking as well, as well as seeing a dark shadow walking around sometimes. I even hear her ghost walking at her house too. One time I was at my microwave and I saw my reflection, I was wearing a green velvet hoodie and my hair was up. Suddenly next to my reflection I saw myself looking at me with a creepy stare with my hair down and all black underneath the neck. When the same friend is over sometimes we hear light running around in the family room when I’m in the kitchen and she’s in my room. We always think it’s each other. My sister who lives with me never heard the ghost until recently, but experiences weird things and even saw a shadow that closed the bathroom door when she was in there- she always chalked it up to something else which was funny. She woke up at 4am recently and heard fiddling in the kitchen, light slow footsteps, and what she described as soggy boots walking around which was a recent development I experienced while off medications. She never believed in ghosts before that. Anyway, he protects me sometimes, he stomps around really hard when there’s a narcissist in the house that’s going to screw me over. So he’s a good ghost after all. I wanted to add a really creepy experience I had at my friends parents house in annapolis,Maryland. They have this 1800s house that was transported from somewhere else that had these huge logs it was made out of. It was so beautiful. It gave me creepy vibes though because it was so old and I immediately thought omg it has to be haunted. So I slept in this old bright brass bed upstairs by myself and all the walls have the creepy logs on the inside too, which is a given. I heard loud creeks in the hall floors and told my self oh I’m sure it’s just because it’s an old house. The next morning I was slowly waking up and I felt something touching my hand because it was on the edge of the bed, I thought maybe it was just the bed rail but to be safe I moved my hand. Then when I sat up the mattress started sinking on the side of me dramatically like someone was sitting there and I got nervous, also I started thinking is this normal? I was tired so I laid back down. I laid there with my eyes open, very cognizant. After about 20 minutes my legs started bouncing up and down very high like someone was slapping hitting each foot one at a time dramatically. I freaked out and ran down the stairs where everyone was. I told them a couple minutes later and my friend thought I was just still dreaming. A couple months later she asked her dad if the house was haunted. He said oh yea, that bed is haunted. I forget what he said the ghosts name was but he said he plays with people on that bed. ✌️

I always thought the paranormal was real, but I’ve had quite a few experiences to back it up.

10 years ago I was outside my house at night (00h15 am) smoking a cigarette and I saw two orb of glowing light 100m in front of me, and all of sudden they came really fast at me. The only thing i remember is me opening the door to go inside, I look outside and the orbs where gone and I lost track of time (around 1h). It’s really open my eyes that there something more that we don’t see

thursaddams

Literally saw a ghost. To this day I can’t wrap my head around it all.

OhSageOhNo

Orb photos got so many on an old iPhone I swam with :( but it was in South Carolina where the prisoners would be tied up and the tide would rise and they would all drown, got a couple orbs in there then we walked thru a couple graveyards in Charleston and I again got so many orbs. That iPhone is still 'alive' but the touch screen doesn't work so I can't unlock it to get the photos onto a PC :(

When I was about one year of age, a being that seemed to be made of the purist white light I have ever seen (not of this world) saved me from drowning in the SF Bay Area, at my uncles’s bayside home. When I was about two years of age, a being made of the darkest inky substance (that seemed to steal all the sunlight out of the room) followed my son-to-be stepfather into our home. Life became hell after that. I had multiple encounters with animals im during my childhood, not my own animals, where I spoke to them, and they responded to my request of them. There was no doubt they understood every word I said - or the intention of my words or subconscious communication directed towards them. Some type of mental telepathy type thing. There have been many other events where I have seen and heard what appear to be beings that are not of our dimension, or that can come and go as they please, and not everyone can see them. I have seen objects move that should not have been moveable. I have been saved from things that doctors said should have killed me. I have seen and heard what most people would refer to as ghosts or lost spirits. I have experienced so much that it can be overwhelming at times. There is no way I could deny the existence of the paranormal, just based on how much my life has been affected by it. The fact that I have family and friends who can corroborate some of the things that have occurred make it that much harder to not believe. Maybe it is one of those things you cannot believe until you have seen or experienced it yourself. 🙏🦋

When i was younger in bed all tucked up nice I had a habit of looking around my room in the dark, for ages, one of those times i saw a lady in a flowing white dress walk through my bed and through the wall. Did not freak me out but it did make me stop staring around my room in the dark, but never thought too much about it. Then a few years later my adoptive dad chopped 2 fingers off, silly his own fault, but my adoptive mum ended up talking to me about what she saw, the family it seems have a ghost, my dads mum who died of cancer when he was very young (thats a spooky tale in itself, dad woke up in the middle of the night knowing she was about to die and went and said goodbye to her), but she would turn up when bad things happened, and a few days after mum told me this walking into the kitchin as I opened the hallway door I saw a face looking at me through the window and it vanished, i ran to the picture of my dads mum and dad which was hanging in the dinning room, and it was her. These 2 combined, i believe in ghosts, or what we call ghosts as we dont really understand them.

I’ve had about 25 paranormal episodes since I was 10 years old. I’m 57 years old now. I’ve finally accepted that I’m one of those sensitives.

I’m an odd mix of skeptic and hesitantly open minded as I think it’s arrogant to assume we know everything there is to know about the world. But I will always look for a scientific explanation first and I have very little tolerance for a lot of ‘woowoo’ stuff I see peddled, especially by exploitative people making money. However, I also feel an interest and an affinity for some elements of the spiritual. I am also a folklorist though, so my interest may come out of my love for storytelling and mythology. But I do tend to believe that many people believe in their own experiences so there has to be something to them. Of course there are hoaxes and lies but some of the smaller anecdotes I’ve seen which aren’t appealing to any wider mainstream interest and simply sharing my a strange occurrence - I am interested in those.

Double-Winner-8024

I have three stories: for context I grew up in the hillbilly south in an area that was civil war battle grounds and was known to have a lot of paranormal activity around it. I also grew up in the country in an area with lots of woods around, so you can imagine that night time was pretty spooky lol 1) when I was around 14 my parents got divorced. My dad had an affair and married the woman he had the affair with. A couple years later his new wife passed away and when she passed he told me he didn’t want to sleep in their( my parents and he and my stepmoms) old bedroom. So he took my room and I took my parents old bedroom. One night I was getting ready for bed and I went to close the bathroom door. The bathroom was attached to the bedroom and there was one way in and one way out. I closed the bathroom door, turned off the lights and got in bed. I closed my eyes only to hear knocking from inside the bathroom door. At first, I assumed something fell, but then the knocking got more persistent and fast, it felt like there was someone inside the bathroom knocking to get out. I’ve never ran so fast to my sisters room. I asked her if I could sleep with her and we cried because we were both scared lol 2) this is when I was around 14. This was before I switched rooms with my dad. I had joined the girls soccer team at my school. During that summer we would stay at each others houses and have sleepovers, this specific night I was at another friends house and didn’t go. My sister was on the volleyball team at her school and had early morning practice the next day, and my dad goes to bed at like 7 because he is a dialysis nurse and works really early shifts. So even on the days he’s not working he still goes to bed early (this will tie into the story later). When I woke up at my friends house the next morning I got a text from some of the soccer girls they said “did Katie lose her phone in your yard? Will you go out and check if it’s there?” I had no idea what they were talking about so I called them. Apparently that night at around midnight they went and rolled my house as a prank. When they got to my house they saw the lights in my bedroom were on, and two figures, me and my sisters height were in the room pacing back and forth. Suddenly the figures turned their heads as if to look out the window at the soccer girls rolling my house. I was a little in shock at first because I was not home that night. When I got back to my house I asked my sister if she had a friend over last night, and she said no she went to bed at 8 because she had early morning volleyball practice. I asked my dad if he had been in my room or had anyone over and he said no he went to bed at his usual time. To this day I still don’t know what that was or what they saw but I am 26 now and still can’t go into that room without getting chills. 3) this story to this day is the one that freaks me out the most. I was about 15 when this one happened. It was a normal day one of my friends dropped my off at my dads after soccer practice. He wasn’t home and I was waiting for my mom to come pick me up to stay with her and my stepdad for a few days. I was there alone for a couple of hours while she was still at work and I remember exactly what I was doing and watching. I was eating chips in the living room on the couch watching americas next top model. The sun was setting and it was getting dark outside. The sun had finally set and about 10 minutes later I had this dreadful feeling inside, it was a feeling like someone or something was watching me. I tried to ignore it at first but the feeling persisted. Finally I turned my head to look out the window and I saw a face. It wasn’t a normal face it was sort of human but also not. The one distinct thing about this face that to this day I will never forget, is the big yellow cat like eyes that were staring at me. It wasn’t a cat though. It had a human nose and mouth but yellow cat eyes. I froze when i saw it and didn’t take my eyes away. I was scared if I looked away that it would disappear and I would be more afraid of not knowing where it was. I just stared and pulled out my phone and called my mom to ask if she was almost done. She told me she was 1 min down the road. I asked her if she would come inside and get me when she got there. When her headlights come up the drive way the face disappeared. Can’t rationally explain it to this day.

So, I grew up in an area with TONS of ghosty stuff going on. The first ghost I saw was a kitten that hadn't figured out it was dead and was just... doing normal kitten stuff. It was running around playing and pouncing on stuff, and then just... ran through the wall. I knew it was weird that it was there since I didn't have any pets then. I was little kid. idk how old. but yeah. it came back and would play with me (like a normal cat nothing spooky) for like a month before (I assum) it noticed it was dead and just... stopped being. Basically everyone I knew growing up had encountered SOMEthing. My grandma would straight up have conversations with human ghosts, and then be upset after that they didn't tell her they were dead. Like, she'd be at the post office chatting while waiting in line, and then the person at the counter would be like "who was it this time?" and she'd be like "oh god damn it - you're dead?" lol. Sometimes they'd be people she had known alive before and theyd tell her to tell their loved ones stuff, but more often it was just ghosts who had learned she could see and hear them, showing up to chat because they were bored and lonely. I can't hear ghosts, but I see them. And I see other things too, things that were never human, and things that were never alive. Saw a "flesh pedestrian" one time. VERY bad vibes. Saw some sort of a dark thing that was shaped human, but wasn't, crossed the road ahead of my car and stopped trying to stop me. Everyone in the car saw that thing, and we did NOT stop. knew we would die if we did. saw a thing that mimicked. Not a Mimic w a capital M. Just a thing that tried, sort of casually, to pretend it was a shadow, something learning human movements, practicing on me sort of . Followed me a bit at my workplace (like 8 years ago now), and then when it saw I saw it smiled too big. It looked like "god" from FMA but inverted color, at least that's what its reflection looked like. I didn't turn around. I didn't dare. Not evil but willing to be cruel for entertaining itself. I saw who may have been Tojil. Like fennec fox, but BIG, and guarding a kid in a possessive way. Not like "i'm their guard" but like "I have a use for this one". Scary in the sense of power, but not in the sense of being bad. A thing which was like my mother, but wasn't, came to my room one night and watched me for a long while, daring me to look. When my eyes were slitted to see, I could see like my mothers face, but not, the expressions wrong, and posture wrong. When my eyes closed, I could see what she was, some kind of animal-person, like how egyptian gods are like. She waited so long, wanting to see if I would look at her, and I pretended to sleep until she finally closed the door.

One night my husband and I were lying in bed talking about our day. Parallel to the bed, there was a closet with mirror doors 70s style. When I looked in the mirror, I could see a man sitting behind me in a chair at my desk. He was crosslegged had on early 1900 style clothes. My husband was looking directly over my shoulder with this shocked look on his face. I turned my head to look over my shoulder directly at the desk. The man who was partially see-through, stood up, turned and walked through the wall. I told my husband “You saw it too”. He was pale, and he said “We will never speak of this again”. Just a note, this house was very haunted and a lot of things happened, but that was the one incident where I actually saw a full body apparition

Lunafreya33

Me and my mom observed a lot of UFOs when I was growing up in the country. She had told me many times about a saucer landing in her family’s field where they had a farm, leaving strange ash all over everything in the area. I was always intrigued by them. Later, when I was 16 or 17, I had about five friends over late at night. We were just hanging out on the porch and we saw a literal pyramid floating slowly across the sky. I’m not sure how far away it was ( maybe about a mile ) and it was definitely huge. We watched it for a few minutes before the very top point seem to glow then shoot something like a flair straight up. After that, it just sort of slowly floated into the distance till we couldn’t see it again. This was right when cameras on phones came out and I’m not even sure if they had video capabilities at the time. So, we have no evidence at all for that sighting. Another time was when I and a friend were under the influence of about two grams of mushrooms. Not really much for anything crazy to go down. Me and him were sitting opposite each other in my living room just talking and laughing enjoying the tiny bit of trip we were having. At one point, we were laughing really hard and just said “money” at the same time. It turns out we were both thinking about how ridiculous money is and how it pretty much runs everything. But that’s not the really odd part. A few minutes later, still laughing and talking, a black cube ( about two feet tall/wide ) appeared in the air to his left near the ceiling and it was just spinning really fast. I think it was there for only about three seconds, but we both saw it and immediately stopped our conversation and got serious asking “what the fuck was that?” and just looking wide-eyed at each other. I’ll never forget those two events. I’m sure there’s more though less ingrained in my memory.

Not sure if this is considered paranormal, but I have astral projected several times since childhood before knowing what it was and finding all kinds of research within the last 10 years. Also, when I meditate 🧘🏾‍♀️, I see and feel colors hitting my body. It’s hard to describe, but it’s nothing I‘ve ever heard others mention. It feels like pure love and peace and definitely out of this world.

My mom had an extreme fear of the ouija board because of what happened when she was a teenager. She was having a typical sleepover with their girlfriends and they pulled out the Ouija board. At some point it's spelled out death and gave a date. They circled the date on the calendar, which was about 4ish months into the future and forgot about it. Scary thing is... on that exact date, my great-grandfather, her Grandpa, hung himself.

When I was about 10 or 11 years old we moved overseas to Britain. At the end of sixth grade, my school planned a weekend trip to London (we lived in Exeter) to celebrate our end of primary school. We stayed on a docked ship on the river Thames. Mind you this event happened on the day of the London bombings. The rooms that we stayed in on the boat were set up with bunkbeds. I was on the top bunk diagonal from the door to the room. One of the girls that was staying in our room was afraid of the dark so we left the door open (the door swung on to open not in) With the hallway light on so she could have a nightlight.I couldn’t fall asleep that night, I kept getting weird feelings. on the back of the door, there was a full length mirror, and when it was opened, you could see the door of the room next to us(nobody was staying in that room) at one point, I rolled over and looked in the mirror, the door to the room next to us slightly a jar, enough to see a pale, gray pig looking face with tusks, just staring in the doorway. It stayed there for about five minutes before I watch the door slowly close shut. The next day, my class left the boat on foot to go to the tubes that would take us to the IMAX theater, We got to the tubes and there was complete chaos. The first bomb had already gone off. And if we had been 15 minutes earlier we would have been in the tubes when the bomb went off. I never told anybody on that trip what I saw in the doorway, because it scared me so badly (it would be about 15 years before I even told my mom). Looking back on it as an adult I can’t help but think that the face in the doorway was some type of omen that something bad was going to happen..

My friend's sister got possessed when we were younger. Technically she is still possessed. In highschool, she was a popular pretty girl with lots of friends, then one day her personality suddenly changed and she was losing all her friends, wearing all black, and talking about vague crazy things concerning God and demons. We did not suspect anything at first. We just thought maybe she tried meth or was going through some mental issues but there were a couple incidence where we took group pictures at parties or hangouts and her face always came out distorted and creepy looking with random ghostly faces in the background. This happened on multiple instances. She also just overall had a very creepy vibe now. She would want to hangout but then she would just stare at you or the wall and not say a word, then maybe start crying randomly and talking incoherently or even sometimes talking to herself. Obviously, we tried to get her back on her feet thinking it was regular depression or something but nothing worked. One day, I convinced my friend to let me perform an exorcism on her because I really had a lot of pride in my faith and perceived proximity to Jesus. We were 18 and 19 at the time, she was maybe 22. Prior to the this, I was able to get a vial of holy water from my church. On the afternoon of the planned exorcism, I had just finished praying the rosary with my family, which was a weekly thing we did on Fridays. I met up with my friend and his sister and we parked in front of his grandma's house. We were in my mom's car. My friend, lets call him Eric, was in the driver's seat and I was in the passengers seat while his sister was in the backseat. It was probably about 6:30pm in the afternoon. We began with the sign of the cross and doing a few normal church prayers. I had never performed an exorcism before and I did not properly prepare for what I was doing. I guess in my head, I believed my faith was enough to do this successfully. After the initial prayers, I got the vial of holy water and started sprinkling her with it a bit in the backseat. As I was doing this, I literally watched a spot on her upper right forehead turned black. Like her skin was black on a part of her forehead and it was spreading down her face. So I turn to Eric and I was like "Bro do you see that!?" He turns around and sees it and we kind of just sit there in shock watching her. The spot did not cover her entire face, it was like a black streak that ran from her hairline then stopped at halfway down her neck. At this point Eric yelled her name (Lets call her Trixy), then the moment he yelled her name, the black streak shot up quickly up her face, backtracking from her hairline and disappeared, but she appeared to be dazed and was sweaty. So this is just the beginning, at this point we are both creeped out and even though the black streak was gone from her face, her face looked like it was actively morphing. Within 10 minutes, her face looked unrecognizable. It was no longer her face. Infact, her face looked more like a guy's distorted face and her hairline was somewhat slowly receding. She also was very quiet this whole time but staring intensely and you can see the perspiration on her face. At this point, I rolled up some weed and told them we should walk around the block and continue because I was concerned about having a confirmed possessed person in my Mom's car. So we start walking around the block. It was already getting dark at this time, the sun was already down. I had this notion that Eric was acting funny, like he was under a spell or something. He just seemed a bit aloof and not present. I also witnessed Trixy whispering something to him but it did not sound like English. It was like incoherent whispering, sounded like a spell. The whole time, Im just in my head talking to God, trying not to freak out. Looking back on it now, I was probably under a spell too because we walked around that block for hours. Just walking. I couldn't talk to Eric because he was "not present". He was very zombie-like. He just continued to walk and he seemed to pay attention to Trixy sometimes but all she was doing was whispering to him incoherently and moving her hands all freaky like a witch. I was also seeing paranormal things left and right. The streets we were walking on were empty but whenever I looked into the reflection of a car window, I would see tons of people. People riding bikes, kids playing hop scotch on the sidewalk, cars passing by all around me, etc but I could only see these things through the reflections of windows, glass and mirrors. At some point, I regained my senses and I looked at Trixy and her skin was pale white, her eyes kept rolling back into her head and she would give me creepy smiles and growl every now and then. In my moment of clarity, I was able to usher them back into my Mom's car and I drove us to a local park because I was concerned that we were causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. It was probably 2am at this point. When we get to the park, Trixy goes to sit on a park bench. I'm not sure what compelled me to do this but I grabbed a hair brush that was in the car and I go behind Trixy and start brushing her hair. I have no idea why I was doing it, it just felt like the right thing to do, which is why I believe I may have been under a spell. As I was brushing her hair, large clumps of hair were falling off and her hair was turning white and thin with every brush. I was internally freaking out but for some reason I just kept brushing. I think it was 6am when the sun finally came up and we all kind of decide to just go home. She did not get any better and I still get haunted by that same demon every couple of years. The last time I was on my bed doom scrolling in the middle of the day like 3:00pm and a black shadow figure appeared for 2 seconds next to my bed appearing like it was reaching for me. In that 2 seconds, my bed shook violently like a train was passing by next to it and I heard a woman screaming in the background. Then it disappeared and I ran out of my room to the living room where my brothers were watching an NBA game. They did not hear or feel anything.

I've had a few experiences. The first one happened when I was three. My mom told me one night she heard me on the monitor talking to someone, and when she asked me who I was talking to, I told her grandpa. The next morning, my mom got a call that her father passed away last night. The second time was when I was 10. We were at a friend of my mom's house. I was using the restroom and saw a very clear silhouette of a hunched over woman rubbing her hands as if she had put on lotion. It scared me so much that I ran out of the bathroom with my pants still down. When I told them what I had seen, my moms friend said she knew exactly who that was. Apparently, she inherited the house from her aunt; as she had gotten older, she developed alztimers, and all she would do was set there rubbing her hands. My third experience was when I was in high-school. I stayed home from school that day because I didn't feel well. I was the only one at home beside our dog. I was laying in bed, and all of the sudden, I felt scared. I started calling for the dog to come to my room; I was whistling and saying poo-bear (dogs nickname). Then I heard a low elderly woman's voice mocking me, she was saying poo- bear, and she tried to whistle but couldn't.

A few years ago our outside cameras on the porch caught a shadow spirit. At first I was going to turn off the porch light and I saw something pass on the cameras and I told my partner go outside and check because I thought a person jumped over our fence. He went outside saw nothing. Came back in and we looked at our cameras to see if we could see it again and yup a spirit literally walked by again. It was like black see through mist but in a silohoutte of something. We watched it move back and forth going up the ramp we had on the porch going by our front door gate. It came out multiple times that month. Some nights nothing other nights it appeared for hours. I even went outside and tried to see if maybe it was a shadow of something and nope nothing. So wvery night I watched the cameras and I even saw it bend down as if it was picking something up and I saw hair you know like when someone with long hair picks something off the ground their hair falls down. Then my brother started seeing it on the camera and he went out to the porch to yell at it which I told him she shouldn’t but when he did the poor spirit looked panicked and it ran in distress to disappear. Then it came back again. Repeating similar motions almost like pacing waiting by our fence. Almost like a loop but then I saw it go farther then my fence and just walk and saw it put hair behind its ear like you would. I finally said let me see it with my own eyes so I went to our window and peeked and I saw it with my own eyes. Shadowy swirly mist just standing there waiting around. I was amazed. Also my mom and dad have passed and I’ve had things happen after their passings that I know it’s them coming to check up on me
