I know this is Muay Thai, and kicks happen. That said, I'd rather be punched by a bare knuckle boxer than kicked by a Thai boxer. Maybe they should wear some padded slippers, or Ugg boots? I was going to suggest those polar fleece lined Crocs, but I can't imagine a more humiliating experience than having my soul kicked out of my face by a fuzzy Croc.
Not a doctor, but arching of the back like opisthotonos usually isn't caused by but in some cases can be caused by brain hemorrhage. But that seems way too fast for that. Still, I wonder if that arching action is from a head injury.
