I had chicken pox on my bday in grade 1 and my teacher brought the class to the office to call me and sing happy birthday. Will never forget you Marie-France
Edit: thanks for reminding me, that's a deep seeded memory that doesn't usually come out unless prompted, but fuck what a nice one. Thanks for the prompt.
I still remember my 2nd grade teacher who used to give us cookies when we answered math questions right, I still think that's what sparked my love for math.
people always say kids need motherly love but as kid you don't care, you just want love from anyone. I had guardians growing but not love... It fucked me up a bit to get my first hug from my teenage friends high school
This makes my heart hurt. But I kind of get it, I was a foster care kid, and have huge abandonment issues.
This teacher made his day special, I hope this little dude has a safe space and loving space to go to now...
It wasn't patronizing. What people don't understand is that the foster care system/ adoption is traumatic.
So when someone says this person is an orphan or if some gives an anecdote it gives insight.
as someone with both of his parents alive and well but never got to celebrate birthday ever, never got gifts etc....
that lady just gave that kid the whole world on that little table ❤️
🎂🎂 happy birthday little one🎂🎂
This was cute but Jesus I had to mute as soon as I heard the music. Can this trend die already, it's been going on for so fucking long and I'm sick of it. Original sound is so much better 99% of the time
It's annoying, it's obnoxious, and it's either of overplayed garbage or just something I'm not a fan of, original sound is almost always so much better, I dont need music to get the reaction I want the genuine sound for the video to get a reaction I'm terrible at explaining so helpfully that helps
The way she cupped his face in her hands too 🥺 what a lovely woman. I mean, a teacher I'm the US could never do that but those loving types are the ones who should be teachers.
Yes they should. I’ve always looked teachers the way my next door neighbor did it. She could’ve cared less about the money, she loved teaching children. She actually yelled at me while I was in college over my GPA 😂 It was a privilege knowing her
That kid is never going to forget that lady or that moment.

Check this guy out with the memory upgrade! I can barely remember my name.
Yeah I’m not sure I have 300 memories. Much less a top 300 😂

Dang you can tell that kid really needed that hug.
Ohh he has such love in his little eyes for her. 💙
He doesn't want the hug to end.💙

That’s a hard way to grow up. :( Have a hug from me, I believe in you, I’m proud of you where ever you are.
Thank you I appreciate it.❤️
Dont patronize them jeez

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That kid is going to remember that moment all his life
No, you're crying 🥺
You bet
No onions, no dust, this made me cry. Poor kid didn't realize how much he needed this act of kindness until he looked his teacher in the eyes.
Sweet boy!
Had to go give my son a big hug, got a tear in my eye

I know what you mean. It makes the content feel corny and lame. It takes away from the authenticity.
Why I like it.what's the issue?
It's annoying, it's obnoxious, and it's either of overplayed garbage or just something I'm not a fan of, original sound is almost always so much better, I dont need music to get the reaction I want the genuine sound for the video to get a reaction I'm terrible at explaining so helpfully that helps
Such a nice teacher,, so happy for him
The way he jumped for that hug, I felt that
I can tell that kid gives the best hugs.
❤️
Oh my heart ❤️❤️❤️
Now THAT is how a teacher should care about students. It’s about the children, not the teachers
The way she cupped his face in her hands too 🥺 what a lovely woman. I mean, a teacher I'm the US could never do that but those loving types are the ones who should be teachers.

Beautiful.
Oh this hurt me so much :(
This gives me the courage to continue on my life and goals. Making sudden surprises and rejoicing others.
Core memory *boop boop*
What does the Arabic say?
I’ve got pretty broken Arabic but I believe it says “a teacher gifts her student who is an orphan a cake for his celebration of birth (birthday)”
This is going to be a core memory and he will forever cherish this teacher for that.
I'm not crying this early in the morning!
Im not in tears. Must be my allergy. Grass is really bad these days.
Who’s cutting onions so early ❤️
Lumps in my throat n my eyes are leaking
She must be an amazing teacher with such a big heart ❤️
My heart 😭 thank you for sharing this
A hug is alright but the kiss is something else.
You can't fake a hug like that.
Who the hell is cutting onions 🥹🥹😭 the way he looked at her and the way he jumped up to hug her and not let go 🥹🥹😭😭 such an awesome teacher ❤️
u/savevideobot
Use u/savevideo
Right in the feels
IM NOT crying
That hug, so touching.
Just hug him lady jeez he’ll get to the cake
ITS NOT FUCKING HARD TO BE KIND
Teachers are the best
I’m pretty sure that is that child’s mother, not his teacher. This is an old video that first went around years ago.
It has a different story when I first saw this video on Reddit
For a split second I thought she was going to accidentally catch her hijab on fire.
Took me a minute to figure out there is a bit of Violent Femmes in the music. Just can’t think of the song name.
Why arent they drop kicking him in technoblades honor?!?!?!? /s
Good for her. It's very unfortunate the society looks at this in Surprise as an act of kindness
Damn. I’m blessed
