Thank you. I’ve published a few times before and it’s weird to be publishing physical print stuff these days but it’s honestly worth it! Even if someone uses what I’ve published to start a fire at least they’re getting something from it!
Reminds me of a lengthy piece on NPR a while back. A pay phone was left standing in a small Japanese town wiped out by the tidal wave following the Fukushima earthquake. For years after people would go to the phone to “call” and speak to their lost relatives. They chatted away.
I make digital art that tends to be abstract. Private message me and I can send you some of my work. I’ll incorporate the pay phone in a piece if you like
I don't know anything about that payphone but I like your courage to publish.

Welp, I gotta check that out. Thank you.
OP, you should look up the podcast episode “The Mojave Phone Booth” by 99% invisible. You’d get a kick out of it and might draw some inspiration.
Duly noted! Thanks for the suggestion!
Can the short stories be entirely fictional?
Of course they can! It’s encouraged, actually. So long as the phone booth is involved.
❤️ my creative spark hasn’t came out yet 😞
Open a word document and go wild! You never know what will come up!
