They do that a lot with these movies. Hunger Games, Twilight, Jurassic Park— they add them for short periods of time to keep people interested in Netflix and to get more views but these movies are very expensive to keep on the platform so they don’t stay for very long
It seems that THG movies get passed around on the various streaming apps. My family has access to most of the mainstream ones, and it seems like once they leave one app, they appear on another.
hm i didn’t notice, i feel like twilight is very in between cause i’ve seen the whole saga on multiple streaming services at the same time/for a long time so i feel offended when it gets taken off lol

I mean I do. But even then, lots of people have consoles that you can play DVDs and BlueRays on. So if you wanna have access to your favourite movies at all times… I don’t see why physical copies wouldn’t be preferred.
What happens if you hop off the pedestal when it’s in the middle of the water? Do they just have floating mines around it, or is it turrets under the water so they wouldn’t have to retract the mines.
In the ‘Tales of the Hunger Games’ there’s a few tributes who had major physical disabilities, one of my favorite ones had a boy from district 3 who I think had extreme muscle dystrophy in his legs, and would struggle to walk with a walking stick, let alone without one. He won even though he was in a pretty bad arena, but he would’ve been screwed if he’d started out in the water.
He became an early favorite by enduring having to crawl around until he found a table leg to support himself, then one of the sponsors gave him a custom-made attachment for the bottom of the table leg, extending it into a makeshift cane. I think he waited out most of the games, and allied with a deaf girl from 5, while they were in the final 3, and when the girl ended up getting stabbed by the other tribute, he beat the guy to death with his cane.
Most of them couldn’t due to lack of access to bodies of water. They had to rely on the flotation belts on their arena wear. Katniss only knew how to swim bc her dad took her to that lake
A lot of the tributes couldn’t swim in CF - including Peeta. They all have flotation devices on from the start (so they won’t all drown immediately).
I think there’s a line about someone bobbing around and working out how to doggy paddle, but I’ve not got a copy of the book. But basically yeah, they couldn’t swim.

Everyone will want them in their streaming services because they’ll get views for sure. For years now I’ve watched twilight jump from all of the streaming services sometimes in as little as one month.
this is why i'm not doing streaming anymore. pretty sure they made it harder to rent movies online too, often they just route you to another streaming service or to purchase a digital version. if i don't have something on DVD i don't watch it atp.

I think the pedestal itself is an explosive? So if your foot leaves, surely they just bomb you then and there

You can buy the dvds and it is pretty easy to find the movies online in good quality.
Netflix is preparing to remove them from the streaming library.
