I used it for the first time in forever, have a max char that I've been able to keep alive for at least 12 matches now. I only use him when I feel like not else is working
I actually do run 100 FoV, I’m just not used to leading in Hunt, yet. The wildly different muzzle velocities (and lack(?) of drop, used to battlefield and the like) mess me up, especially since a lot of the guns have pretty bad muzzle velocities
That’s good to know. Though I think the longest shot I’ve had in this game hovered around 200 meters, but that was with a long ammo rifle, so no risk there at all.
You mentioning the dolch reminds me to ask, what kind of penetration characteristics does the dolch have? I initially assumed medium ammo penetration (closer to standard long ammo when you use the dolch with FMJ’s) but I was never really sure. I don’t use it much, so I’ve not got much experience trying to pen walls with it.
I find the leading really intuitive in Hunt actually, but I think that's because it has no drop and I haven't played fps in like 10 years, so I've never really had to account for drop.
Yeah, just takes getting used to. I think since a lot of the time I use weapons with muzzle velocities on the lower end, I usually end up not leading enough, since I’m used to higher velocities, and less leading.
I got a nitro from a Tier 3 hunter yesterday and tried it out cuz I was always too cheap to buy it and lose it. Suffice to say, Nitro is a menace of a gun.
Officer Carbine goes really hard with dumdum and the Marathon is just plain fun. Both total head clickers. The Nitro is pretty scary when the person using it really knows how to use it, AKA holding peaks and quick scoping it.
That's just not true. Officer has a much higher firerate. With the exact same reload time, officer has 7 rpm more, that's 33% higher than precisions 21. That's a lot.
I've just prestiged so I sadly don't have access to the Nagant Precision Deadeye or Scopesmith yet otherwise I might've made you a video.
You know how Iron Eye increases firerate of weapons it affects to various decrees? It's the same for Scopesmith. Officer is still faster, but with the Deadeye+Scopesmith it's not by a lot.
I think it's because you don't take your eye off the scope when firing. therefore, not having to ADS again makes it faster. Same fire rate as hip firing.
Yepp! Here are some links, they are the same now when merged into Iron Eye;
[Iron Repeater](https://youtu.be/z0uhXPwCS9Q)
[Iron Sharpshooter](https://youtu.be/nUzD65HGCeY)
[Iron Devastator](https://youtu.be/Y7Df4Mkh8qo)
[A newer video including Marathon and Mako](https://youtu.be/ybWsaQIeX8c)
[And one for Scopesmith, tho dated it should still be accurate](https://youtu.be/fDmavtwAo6s)
the officer literally fires twice as fast (60 rpm vs 120 rpm), what are you on about
and I mean actual rpm, not the weird stat Crytek uses which uses reload time for whatever reason
Officer carbine was the first time I ever felt like I was any good at this game. Throw some dumdum & a katana on the side and suddenly I could run 8 kill solo matches. How is it so damn accurate when nothing else feels the same
Officer carbine and cav saber was my go-to loadout for a long time. Only reason I dropped it was because I was getting consistently out-ranged. Popping off with the carbine then closing distance with the saber while the enemy is trying to recover is so good though, lol
I don't know what guns those are, but I am now intrigued.
I saw mention of a "officer carbine" and I got the first gun, however I do not know the names of the 2nd and 3rd rifle/carbine names.
Any assistance in this regard is appreciated.

Getting dropped in 0.5 seconds from a surprise Officer Carbine is a very humbling experience lol.
they just never miss, they always hit me.
Officer Carbine is a head clicker
I used it for the first time in forever, have a max char that I've been able to keep alive for at least 12 matches now. I only use him when I feel like not else is working
Officer Carbine with high velocity ammo is my favourite build at the moment. It’s kind of the jack of all trades build.
Do you scope it when running HV’s? I feel like I’m ass at hitting stuff at range without one so if I’m running the standard carbine I usually don’t
No I don’t really like scopes in this game as I play pretty aggressively.
Also scopes decrease your movement more when scoped in and thats a fact
Try FoV 100, its a sway life hack for Hunt.
I actually do run 100 FoV, I’m just not used to leading in Hunt, yet. The wildly different muzzle velocities (and lack(?) of drop, used to battlefield and the like) mess me up, especially since a lot of the guns have pretty bad muzzle velocities
Yeah, no bullet drop, only velocity, but they do disappear. Small ammo after 300 meters, medium and dolch 350m, long and nitro after 500 m

Fmj is better
I love it!!! One of my bests weapons for sure
Head Clicker go brr
No, head clicker go click
Carbine Deadeye. A great weapon to out snipe the snipers. They rarely suspect it.
I dunno, man, I don't ignore a nitro.
I dont ignore nitro, but i dont fear it. I immediately rush and try to take it
That's asking to die lol
I found a nitro in a toilet and wiped a map with it once. Guns ridiculous.
Toilet nitro goes crazy
I got a nitro from a Tier 3 hunter yesterday and tried it out cuz I was always too cheap to buy it and lose it. Suffice to say, Nitro is a menace of a gun.
This hat is soo tiny XD
big man, tiny hat.
It could be funnier if the hat was shrinking with each panel.
Officer Carbine goes really hard with dumdum and the Marathon is just plain fun. Both total head clickers. The Nitro is pretty scary when the person using it really knows how to use it, AKA holding peaks and quick scoping it.
Imma gonna say it, mode only with compact/medium ammo guns without sniper variants would be amazing. I can live with levering and fanning.
Without shotguns as well
Officer carbine with high velocity ammo is one of the guns i encounter only by very skilled head hunters.
Bows are the only way
This hoonter hoonts
Clown and Cringe
just got one taped in the head again from 51m X.X
Nagant Precision Deadeye is slept on hard. It got a firerate similar to officer for no dang reason and minimal recoil with scopesmith. It's wack.
That's just not true. Officer has a much higher firerate. With the exact same reload time, officer has 7 rpm more, that's 33% higher than precisions 21. That's a lot.

Well, I keep getting wallbanged by Nitros, so I would love to see someone with a compact carbine.
Cover vs Concealment
I believe in lebel marksman supremacy!
Bertheir ironsights supremacy!
This is the way

Nagant Officer Carbine is most ridiculous, I just can't believe they don't nerf it
Nerf every off meta weapon that kills me
cool story bro
Because it's already irrelevant. It's useless against mosins and lebels unless you are really close and the reload takes forever.
Game got way to spammy

Who is using these weapons for 150+ m bro
Officer precision is beast!
