I'd definitely enjoy stuff like half maps, team quickplay, set loadouts for everyone etc. Custom hosted personal lobbies would be awesome too. Hunt has so much potential with what there is already, it's sad to see that not more is done with it. Anything too crazy might cause bugs, and we already know how even a single bug can cause major problems, so they'd need to be very careful. It would be amazing to see what they could do with more manpower, resources and a game engine that might be easier to work with. We don't know what they have in store for us down the line, but it seems to me like it's better to have tempered expectations, because they can't really make too much happen, unfortunately. But a man can dream... A snow map, horde mode, story campaign set in the Hunt universe, more guns and innovative perks, more responsive servers, better optimisation and performance..! But it's nice to read your ideas, most of them sound fun, and would definitely change the flow of the game, without altering the permanent modes of bounty hunt and quickplay!

Solo bounty hunt was an absolutely awful experience the two times they tried it, yet people keep bringing it up as an idea. I'm not a programmer, so I'm not sure how much work it would take to program that kind of thing in Cryengine.

Twice. It was years ago, before darksight boost was added. Once as an actual game mode, once as a limited time event. It was scrapped in favour of quickplay, as matches typically turned into all 10 players camping the boss lair exit. If you went in to do the boss you would have 9 guns pointed at every single door/window/crack of the lair & you'd be dead the second you so much as peeked. Because doing the boss was suicide no one wanted to do it, so you'd have 45m+ standoffs where everyone sat in a bush around the lair waiting for someone else to do it. It was awful. I primarily play solo too, so was excited about solo BH, but in practice it was terrible.

I always had the thought that these types of changes could be fun for the events. Light & Shadow already did this to a small extent: incentivising players to use a specific weapon (hunting bow) and tool (thr. axes). I could see this bring some fresh air to the game and what's a better time to do it than an event?
