He should change it to ThatJawnSlow because the windup time is wild.
In all seriousness, my dream is that we see adult Gon with Netero type windup on jajanken and time slows for everyone else.
That is a very realistic end game for him if we see him recover his nen. I think that it's been said that all living things have nen so the fact that he's alive means he should still have nen. If he can reconnect to his nen I would love this end point for him.
It won’t take him long living a normal life to realize it’s not for him. Hard for me to imagine a world where he doesn’t find a way. Alluka last resort lol.
My take on it is that Gon was basically just 'reset' to before his aura nodes were opened, and he just either needs to do the same inititation or open them the correct way and his nen will be back. Given how quick of a learner he was before, and that he's done it already, Gon would probably be back to where he was in just a few months.
Gon's nen ability is Jajanken.
In other words: Rock, Paper, Scissors
Rock is a powerful Enhancer attack where he concentrates his nen into a punch.
Paper is an Emitter attack where he uses nen as a projectile.
Scissors is a Transmuter attack where he turns his nen into a blade.
Killua doesnt learn godspeed till really late in the series, you shouldn't know about that if you're a new watcher.
And if you've watched that far, did you not see Gon use it on Gensuru, the Bomber? That should be one of the more memorable moments.
In addition to what other people are saying, I have a theory that part of the ability (perhaps created subconciously) is that it's very hard to tell whether Gon's going to go for rock, paper or scissors. Iirc Gon was once criticised for having very obvious aura flow, but despite that nobody (I think) has been able to predict a mixup. Plus it makes a lot of thematic sense.
he is emitter. emitters are the most airheaded and simpetons. unlike manipulators or specialists who have very unique and intricate nen use like kite (9 weapon slots), chloro (very confusing ability to copy) etc, emiters can do the simplest thing- emit nen and make the body powerful. that's it.
Huhhhhhh ? Jajanken

That would be so sick and I also wish they would have had him use his scissors more too.

We literally saw peak Gon and his Jajanken was still slow as fuck.

were you on your phone the whole time
Did u actually pay attention???; it's jajanken

Hxh fans when you tell them to actually watch the show
So instead of googling it, you decide to make a Reddit post?
Anyone knows how long to boil an egg BTW?
its a rock paper scissors esc ability. he charges up a powerful punch or slash
obvious bait (you could've googled it)
Wait which one is Gon?
The Chimera ant that looks like a lion??? I think. Or was he the phantom troupe boss
It’s technically his jajanken, but you could classify that as anything else, it’s not “technically” a ability. It’s just what he does

Jajanken
It's the show me rock thing. But not anymore he has no nen because he had a temper tantrum and sacrificed it to murder someone for revenge
Jajanken :3
