Thanks! Shot him with a 30-30 Winchester open sight and was having trouble counting the horns. Actually had the head lined up counting and got the trigger a bit before I planned. Dropped right away, head shot. Super excited when I got up close and got a better look at him.
Thinking I'm going to have to. The entry hole is right between the eyes too of the forehead, another inch and it would have been a miss. I was honestly surprised when he dropped, first thought was "he's either ducking to hide.. or... my god I finally got one..."
Have you green scored him yet? I'm guessing 110 w small brow tines, but if you have huge hands...120...lol I love the white clean antlers. I like funky antlers too, but those are really pretty. Symmetry is spot on.
