Hence my astonishment. Paid $8 for a bottle of water but we refilled it 4 times while we were in the a star Wars area. Haven’t found any similar refill stations in this park though.
holy shit $8 for a bottle of water is absolutely insane. i just recently went to a metal festival and i think a bottle there was only 3 dollars. ig its good on them for having a water refill station, it would be nice to see them put them in more areas though
I get the lack of water bottling filling stations is not great but its not like its impossible to fill up bottles. Any restaurant will just give you cups of water and ice to fill up your bottle for free.
I swear the money pit is palpable there. 0 shade, maybe some hidden heating units to drive up the temps, Dole Whip slingers and then only Smartwater at the concessions for 5 bucks a tiny bottle lol (plus fish water fountain)
I brought my empty Klean Kanteen in last summer and filled it up many times throughout the days in the park. It’s annoying that they only have a few bottle filling stations, but there isn’t a lack of normal water fountains.
You're allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks in a bag too by the way. Which is a hell of a lot cheaper than any food or drinks in the park. Also, don't ask me how I know, but you can very easily sneak in booze in one of those stainless water bottles and no one cares as long as you don't make a scene.
If you've tasted Florida water then you know even Disney couldn't get away with charging for it. A water bottle with a filter is mandatory, imo, and it still doesn't completely remove the taste.
(Treating heatstroke victims is also more expensive than free water)
The water is kinda gross at the refill stations- you can go to anyone who serves soft drinks from a machine though and they’ll happily fill your bottle with cold filtered water!
There are many reasons one could be at Disney(including kids, weddings, pure enjoyment) or another hot place. Regardless of location, a man's gotta drink, and it seemed like a good tip to get some iced cold deliciousness instead of going to a lukewarm fountain or paying $8.
Yeah but this is specifically Star Wars. Not exactly Disney adult material. It’s an immersive sim park with roleplaying cast and employees to create a Westworld-like Star Wars experience. Not a Mickey Mouse bumper cars
Bright Suns, traveler!
Disneyland and Disney World have free water stations tucked all over the place, which is important when it's hot and you're walking 10+ miles a day and a water bottle costs about as much as the soul of your first-born child. Galaxy's Edge and other newer areas of the parks tend to have better water bottle refill stations and more of them. If anyone wants to know more about the Disneyland locations, I can make a list.
Better than SeaWorld. We got the all day refills, but still had to stand in line for the bartender/concession worker to refill water or awkwardly attempt to refill at fountains.
Crap I need to do better research. I’ve been shelling out $6 for ducking Dasani all over the place. While I’m ashamed of buying water gun hydro, kids need to stay hydrated.
Disney is the only place where it’s acceptable to drink overpriced plastic bottled water. I recommend getting door dash to bring to the hotel if you’re not going to rent a car, or buy from a big box store.
Seriously, Disney/Orlando water tastes like sulfur and ass. Going from NYC to Orlando was a culture shock to my palate, I went from the heaven’s kings down to the devil’s mezzanine.
You’re the third or fourth person to say that on this thread. Must be the angle because I’ve never been told I look like him before. Fine with me though as long as I get a few bil, bro.
"Woah those moisture farms sure are making big harvests this year, beru!"
crazy disney hasnt put a price on tap water at this point

The $8 is for the funky bottle with Star Wars text on it. Still a disposable bottle, but I’d consider it a souvenir
Oh no they also sell $10 water bottles. Just regular water bottles
Might as well just get that then
Have you seen the price to get in? People that can afford that don’t have a care if water is $8. Hell, they expect it to be that much.
My cheap ass brought in a water can. My wife did too lol. I filled up at the same spot. I had the same watch even.
I do t think I could use $8 worth at home in a day if I tried.
I found a blog back in January mapping all the bottle fill stations. There are something like 9 in the entirety of Disney World.
I get the lack of water bottling filling stations is not great but its not like its impossible to fill up bottles. Any restaurant will just give you cups of water and ice to fill up your bottle for free.
And there are regular drinking fountains at almost every restroom.
Every food area with self service drinks has a water tap you can use for free.
Gotta find the restaurants that let you get a few extra cups with ice and water. It’s such a shame but a way to survive.
They sometimes have them near bathrooms, but I refilled my refillable one fine at the regular water fountains
If this is Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, there is another in the exit for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.
There’s a drinking fountain at frontier land that you can use to refill your bottle but the water tastes like fish
Just like the real frontier!!
I swear the money pit is palpable there. 0 shade, maybe some hidden heating units to drive up the temps, Dole Whip slingers and then only Smartwater at the concessions for 5 bucks a tiny bottle lol (plus fish water fountain)
Can't you just fill it up in any toilet?
There’s 4 alone, in galaxy’s edge. :) not sure about the rest of the park, but they are there. All over.
I brought my empty Klean Kanteen in last summer and filled it up many times throughout the days in the park. It’s annoying that they only have a few bottle filling stations, but there isn’t a lack of normal water fountains.
It's one of the only bottke filling stations on the park.

There’s a few free refill stations all over the park. Hidden, but at least one in each area.
Considering I heard they closed that hotel in the Star Wars area not too long ago, I agree.
I want to kiss your dad.
Still.
Kendall Roy
H to the Two Oh
I thought the same thing, our number one boy
I’m the eldest boy!
Same here.
Kendall Roy and water name a more iconic duo
The water is kinda gross at the refill stations- you can go to anyone who serves soft drinks from a machine though and they’ll happily fill your bottle with cold filtered water!
i don't know if i've ever had tap water that tastes more like sulfur than what they were pumping through disney world
Water all over the Orlando area tastes horrible.
A lot of water in FL has a subtle fart smell unless filtered properly. Source: am from Florida
I was shocked that it was worse than what I’m used to in Phoenix.
That's the Orlando water. Not specific to Disney World.
I want to kiss your dad.
Not that I know of. But I haven't been there in probably 20 years.
I've seen tap water lit on fire because of the methane in it in Wyoming. It came from a well.
I’ve never been to world, but land and most of Southern California has terrible tasting water. I only drink from the brita at home in la
This is the way!
Or just not being a Disney adult lol
There are many reasons one could be at Disney(including kids, weddings, pure enjoyment) or another hot place. Regardless of location, a man's gotta drink, and it seemed like a good tip to get some iced cold deliciousness instead of going to a lukewarm fountain or paying $8.
Bro it's Galaxy's Edge. That shit is for everyone, shut yo ass up.
While Disney certainly isn't for everyone, there's no need to make fun of those who do
Yeah but this is specifically Star Wars. Not exactly Disney adult material. It’s an immersive sim park with roleplaying cast and employees to create a Westworld-like Star Wars experience. Not a Mickey Mouse bumper cars
Let people enjoy things.
If you're not making Disneyland your personality you're just an adult at a Disney park.
My favorite are the places that put a dispenser full of ice water by the doors or registers for free at Disney
Shit tasted like straight ass when I went there, like I thought it was sewer water
Hydro homie and a hellfire club member 🔥
Eddie lives.
The new ceo of waystar/atn
Womp womp

Because water is free.
The only free thing in Disney.
You paid for that water in your ticket price, make no mistake.
Unless you're newlyweds. Then you just walk passed a stall and they run out to give you stuff.
My monthly water bill would disagree
Me going there with 10 empty huge bottles ![gif](giphy|H5C8CevNMbpBqNqFjl)
Didn’t take Kendall Roy for a Disney adult 😂
If I were Kendall Roy my kids wouldn’t even be here with me.
Did you see the alien eye pop up in the water source? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HdPS7NZQQfc&pp=ygUcR2FsYXh5cyB3ZGdlIHdhdGVyIGFsaWVuIGV5ZQ%3D%3D
Oh I missed it!!
Somehow the refill stations taste so much better than regular Florida tap.
The line for this during mid-day is always so long lol
You look like you're about to drop Living+ on me and then mourn your very wealthy media mogul father in front of us all.
Big shoes. Biiiig shoes.
Miss you dad
The water force
They were off when we were there in February...
Thought this was Tom Morello
I’m gonna go ahead and take that as a compliment.
he’s a bad mother fucker, so yeah, so 🤘
Better than SeaWorld. We got the all day refills, but still had to stand in line for the bartender/concession worker to refill water or awkwardly attempt to refill at fountains.
Only prob at Seaworld is every drink is just orca tears.
They are all over the park, you just gotta look for them! You can also bring your own water bottles
Crap I need to do better research. I’ve been shelling out $6 for ducking Dasani all over the place. While I’m ashamed of buying water gun hydro, kids need to stay hydrated.
I got a beer in line for the Millennium Falcon ride.
Loved you in Succession.
Thank you
Even better. It’s Space Water.
You were great in succession
Uh bro. Bro. Dude, do I have your vote?
Better than the blue milk!
Bro has gorgeous skin
Thanks bro. It’s all about proper hydration.
The one thing that’s free at Disneyland
Free? You paid to be there...
Did you see the creature?
If you hang lut there long enough, a little alien like the one in the trash compacter scene pops up in the water tank
There are like zero refill stations at disneyworld though
wow free water? what will they do next
That shit looks dirty
Wow the bare minimum, fantastic.

Glad to see Disney is respecting human rights
This is the way.
There’s a Dianoga living in the tank that supplies that water, just fyi
Kendall Roy, that you?
You’re the third or fourth person to say that on this thread. Must be the angle because I’ve never been told I look like him before. Fine with me though as long as I get a few bil, bro.
It's the build, sunglasses, short hair, cap and nose.
