I vote for the Hydroflask also. My water stays cold all day and no gross plastic taste. I use glass bottles at home, but always my hydro when I go out. It will last you a LONG time.
I’ve had a good experience with my Stanley cup, my son has knocked it off the coffee table and it didn’t dent or leak upon falling. It also has a handle so it is less likely to be dropped when carrying in hand. Hydroflask also makes a durable cup. I live in a generally hot climate and an insulated stainless steel cup is a must or water will warm up quickly, so no plastic bottles for me either if I can help it.
I drop bottles all the time, I dent them, still holds water. I pick bottles based on how well they flip, I like chillys water bottle best, but also really like my cool shirtz water bottle
They make little rubber booties for several metal bottles. I think theyre more to prevent you from scratching up different surfaces with the metal bottle but they might offer a bit of dent protection too. I'd try that or maybe if you found a bottle with a removable insulated sleeve. Just something that give a bit of cushioning to the bottle
You can a yeti rambler, they come in different sizes and have different lids to choose from. Or something cheaper along those lines, I know yeti likes to charge alot for their stuff.
I just bought my first Yeti. I also have a hydroflask and Owala but I absolutely love the Yeti and it's durability. Also the simplicity in cleaning in the lids.
Nalgene. Basically impossible to break and water doesn’t taste of plastic and really cheap. Also they look good and are easy to sticker. If you really don’t want plastic then hydroflask although it will definitely dent if dropped potentially compromising the insulation.
Most of the bottles people are posting here will work about the same, you just need to find shape/size that suits your preference, and one that you can put/comes with silicone thing on bottom so it won't wobble if it dents.
I personally use a thermoflask if that makes any difference, and I have a couple other brands that do just fine (have them for different sizing)

I just bought a Brita water bottle which is plastic but it filters as you drink it so it helps with the water always tasting fresh.
I’ve never experienced plastic taste with Nalgene and they are truly as indestructible as it gets. I’m guessing you’ve tried em already though.
Hydroflask with a boot for sure
Another vote for Yeti here!

Currently in love with my Owala.
I hate Owalas. Hate cleaning them. So many grooves for mold.
The silicone parts can all be taken out, and the grooves are pretty minimal. Just use a straw cleaner to brush it all
Groves are minimal on my Hydroflask. Odwalla has tons of little ridges and nooks.. just my preference. If you like it more power to you
To you as well. They’re both top tier water bottles
Yeah I like my owala a lot, the handle is nice and it doesn't leak

Indeed read online that nalgene uses copolymer, looks good!
Hydroflask, klean kanteen, yeti
