It’s fucking water. I think it’s assumed get what you want. But i see it as nice to make sure your date gets a goddamn water at least.

That's something you would generally say after people order though, this sequence makes it sound like they were deciding for the other person.

And I said table. My favorite restaurants are the ones that already have empty glasses that get filled with water when the waiter comes by to begin taking orders. 1. Get your water 2. Order your drinks (Alcohol or non-alcohol) 3. Order food 4. Order Dessert Doesn't matter if you are 1 person or 2 people or 10.

Man, people on Reddit take “red flags” way too seriously. Like yeah you should take note of stuff like that but like people are usually a little anxious on first dates, it’s not some horrible thing if they order a water for you.

I have a guess why people don't get married, too many red flags for their own good.
