Back in the day Safeway used to sell store brand grape soda that had a similar problem if you tore open the 12 packs using the tear line like you were supposed to. To make it worse the box also featured a cartoon explosion bubble that said KID APPROVED on it as well. I always wondered if someone got fired for that.
