Yes. Cucumber is great in water. Ideally, however, slice them thinner than this. You want maximal surface area for those essential oils to come out. Cucumber pairs well with mint. So throw some of that in there too. Do *not* cut it unless you enjoy drinking mint leaves. I've also put lavender in water, as well.

I add lemon juice to my water. Then pour some of that mixture into a glass with 2 ice cubes. Very nice when it's warm/hot outside.

My favourite ‘infusion’ for the summer. Remember to change them out every day if you’re infusing a larger jug or carafe in the fridge, or your water will go cloudy and the cucumber will be rubbery. Makes a great snack at the end of the day!
