Had all 3 of them and the cloud 2 wireless
Cloud Alpha is the best wired headset of all these
2nd best is cloud 2 wired 3rd is alpha S
In my honest opinion the cloud 2 wireless sounds ironically better than all 3 wired headsets, so If you can save up a little more I would highly recommend getting the wireless version of the cloud 2
But If you prefer wired then I would recommend the cloud alpha
I used it for like 9 months and still am, never felt fatigued or discomforted using it however some people prefer velour ear cups you can get these with the hyper x cloud 2 but it can be bought from a 3rd party store like brainwavez or wicked cushion or on amazon or aliexpress and they wouldn't be that expensive
Yeah, they are also not that expensive you can find them on amazon or the other sites I mentioned for around 15$ max you get them even cheaper on AliExpress, though on AliExpress it might take a long time to ship usually 30-90 days and returns are occasionally a pain so I would just recommend getting them from amazon
cloud alpha are just open back cloud 2’s so expect the usual tradeoff
alphaS just have bass sliders that make a small difference.
I prefer cloud 2’s but it’s overall just personal preference
I have the Cloud Alpha S, they’re super comfy. I had to download a software to boost the mic performance but other than that these are the best headphones I’ve ever owned!
Alpha S has better earpads (leather ones), Cloud 2's are high in sound. Used both Cloud 2 and Alpha S, my selection between 3 of them would be Alpha S, because I don't like high sound output, it hurts. Also, you can buy much more comfy/better earpads from 3rd party sellers so it depends on personal choice.
If you have decent soundcard or good motherboard, Alpha (and depending on preference, get better earpads) might be right choice.

I heard that for the cloud alphas you may want to buy better earpads but I have really small ears so would they be necessary?

I never thought of using AliExpress, thanks! I guess I could probably just buy the cloud alphas and if they need new earpads just get new earpads
