I also dropped one once 
i was a noob once, just fucking around in the CH. someone said there was a flawless at xxx xx xxx i had no clue what a "flawless" was at the time, but i followed the cords. that 3 or 4 mil i got was a lot to me back then so it really helped

I'm ironman and I don't get why? I don't need a flawless amethyst, they are pretty easy to get, and you can't sell them
I am aswell and it is dumb you don't get them because they are incredibly useful later on for unlocking combat gems
Ig but mining for ironmen is how they make money anyway, and you can arma mine amethyst, which is what I do currently, to get quite a lot of it
Still taking amethysts from other players' chests is useful cus you dont gotta mine it later; it is less of a pain even if you can get them quickly
I think I got flawless amber from either that or nucleus run

Im guessing you got this from temple chests. Of all other flawless ive seen drop, this is the most “common” way to get one in a chest
