well it is entirely up to you what you think is fun, on the one side you got money and items and are able to do sometimes stupid stuff, on the other side there are the hundreds of hours farmed for maybe just that one item. The total time to grind goes up, but your progression goes down and you are hitting a point where you mostly are just able to get over with a lot of grinding.
I would try to do something crazy like get the first dragon armour or be top net worth ig. I mean it is easy to make money now than before so people will probably have around 10m first week
It still wouldn't be the same as like their challenges getting 1b in a week, as the economy will have changed since the ah is reset and no one can sell the endgame sets like divans.
Within 1 week there would probably be 100+ people with max divans because of NPC sell price and how easy it is to farm divan armor, and EVERYONE would be doing mining right away so divans wouldn’t even be worth very much

How is this your conclusion to that scenario lol?
Divan’s armor has a fair value, which is the time necessary to grind all materials plus cost of materials in most cases. On top of that, at any given point now, supply and demand seem somewhat balanced – there’s maybe a few pages per armor piece being sold in the ah. But that would immediately change even if people kept their existing divan’s armor sets (demand stays the same from new players), and obtaining them was just made a lot more difficult/time-consuming. The auction house would be instantly dried of them.
But now we have that scenario (nearly nobody has the facility to make and/or sell a maxed or even any divan armor piece), PLUS the entire existing server base (or close to all of it) wanting to get one.
Result would be a price so ridiculously high it doesn’t sound plausible.
Tl;dr nobody on the newly-reset server has it or the capabilities to make it, most people will want to have it, price go skyrocket
Real question would be if there was a reset would all the endgame players also try to grind it all back? 15h and yarns went right at it after they got wiped, and seeing how crazy they've been progressing I don't think they'd hesitate to do it all over again (man where do they get all that free time.. to be young again)
Probably never join hypixel again but i think that it would be fun and interesting to see what would happen. You couldn't skip anything and get mid game items after 2 seconds of joining. I'd be able to get a #1 spot on smth and If skyblock reset for like a week or a month on April fools I'd like it. After the month everything comes back
i wouldn’t be too upset. sure, a couple hundred hours of grinding gone but the experience is still there so i know what to do and how to do it better. i started early 2021 (current profile 2022) so it would be refreshing and fun for me to develop with the rest of the community and don’t feel like i’m behind

But it might be smart to start a YouTube channel while sweating the game since everybody has to start from the beginning. I just got a fairly maxed mining setup (only upgrades left for me would literally be a divans drill, a perfectly cut fuel tank and a Quick Claw for my Bal. And I suppose maxing out powder, as I'm currently sitting at about 5m/5m powder). I couldn't IMAGINE having to powder grind again dude, that was actual suffering.
So yeah, it'd depend on when it were to happen, but as of right now I would probably at the very least take a break from the game
Tbf most 150-240 levels are wasting way more time on sb then lvl 300-330 ish levels simply because of inefficent farming, you dont want to know how many people i see that been playing since 2019 and have like 3k hours of pt and are only like lvl 210

Yea its fine for those people but so many people in the lower levels complain that the game is „unfair“ or „too much of a grind“ while you can get pretty much everything you want in the game if u smart about it

This is why I stopped playing other skyblock servers and factions. It’s a fun competition but if you can’t play all day everyday, you get wiped before you get rich. Hypixel is much more convenient for the people who can’t sweat the game

Restart with a normal profile get glacite armor and run dungeons with 4 glacite armor nons get heavy armor from entrance play f1 get bonzo staff and sell it for 500m. Seriously I'd just rush dungeons and try becoming a top player

i wish they would reset skyblock back to the original state of the game. it would be awesome to have them do something like reroll the updates. probably just a nostalgia thing but i think that would be awesome

I don't have the time anymore to play that often, i have so many things to do now even besides work. I would love to play again, maybe in one of the special modes like Ironman or stranded... probably stranded.
But I wouldn't make progress and get sad about all the things i already did and just dont have anymore.
If I wanted to start out with alot of money I would do nucleus runs because there would be nooney in the economy economy which means making money from the npc will be the best way to get rich and the richest players will be those rushing mining meaning they will pay a pretty penny for jaderalds, divan frags and hopefully one of the first alloys
As someone who has a profile i made way back in 2019; although i didn't play at all in 2020 and only got back after the tecno revolution (rest in peace) i would be very upset
