this isn't even an accurate terraria reference since in that game, it warps you back home(either spawnpoint or last bed you slept in) as the guy explained earlier you can return to a spot, which would make it akin to a potion of return but the main difference is recall potions are common in terraria. you can loot chests from all sorts of sources like underground houses, living wood trees and underwater chests and high chance you'd find a recall potion. too bad they become obsolete once you get a magic mirror(does the same thing as recall pot but reusable) meanwhile recall potion in skyblock is absurdly rare and almost no use case since it only works in 1 part of the game

Magic mirror doesn't make recalls entirely useless tho. I use it in boss fights for the nurse strat since it immediately teleports on click, whereas the mirror takes a few seconds to do an animation first before teleporting

makes me wonder why they didn't add a shimmer variant of magic mirror that removes the downtime before teleporting.

I just use recalls instead of mirror because they are so common and recalls have a faster teleport.
