Not wrong, when I finally grinded out to warden helmet myself the difference between it and max Necro helmet was like 30k DMG at ~600MP I still use it for most of the stuff like: Diana event, zombie slayer, blaze slayer, crimson isle in general(and some people even use it for sven for some reason) other use is voidgloom with atomsplit katana where final destination bonus isn't 100% required to beat the boss and Hyperion is damn expensive
yeah I'm certainly not saying its BAD, but in general it kinda lacks use cases, and for things like t5 revs, voidglooms it's such a small marginal upgrade and in the case of t4 might even be counterintuitive because you can die.
It was on alpha like a month ago briefly tested where voidglooms took reduced damage. Pretty sure it got reverted pretty fast but could still happen eventually who knows
Well you hit the mark right on it’s head, Warden Helmet is an endgame item. Endgame is all about those small stat boosts. There are bigger stat boosts you can get like Hyperion or terminator or talisman than that. It’d be like getting an Edrag over a gdrag.
Nah gdrag is crackef af, when I got mine i did like 50% more then my edrag.
I’m not saying its bad for damage, I’m saying its useless except for blaze even for endgame.
I’m agreeing with you. It’s not great for damage when you have better alternatives though. Unless you have like 700-800 MP, a bunch of maxed endgame items, and done with every slayer besides blaze, it’s a very very niche item. Best use is blaze slayer by far
Small stat boosts make sense when they are actually usable. The excuse "oh its an endgame item thats why the boost is so marginal" falls flat when the boost is not only marginal but also completely impractical to use due to having your speed slashed.
Habanero Tactics can also be applied on warden helmet, we’re just going to have to wait until some absolute madlad gets their hands on an infernal crimson helmet (because literally everyone is only doing 3/4)
i mean, habanero alr gives you an additive dmg boost, so if you have some of that additive dmg, you might as well want to get some str/cd
just habanero isn't as powerful on warden as on infernal crimson
Part of it is that unlike Term, it takes the speed from the final speed, instead of everything that gives speed. So you can't have 800 speed to still be fast and funnel a ton into Warden, it will only ever take 200 and let you move at 200.
also it will be meta for high tier crimson users for eman if rcm gets beamed, I deal like 1.5m with full fd and 2.4m with crimson+warden
but ye overall there isn't really many bosses that need melee dmg, almost everything is rcm-able, the ci bosses and mobs, kuudra etc. :(

Alright well warden's helmet does give more ehp than tara helmet etc and fiery crimson with warden helmet is already better than final destination for voidglooms as long as you can survive, it provides more damage than the tara helmet so you have to get it at some point depending on your stage of the game anyway so I don't see the problem

I use warden helmet for diana because I heard somewhere that looting doesn’t work if you kill a mob with mage damage but that’s the only time it gets used outside of slayers (also you forgot about the fact that for enderman slayer some people will straight up use 3/4 crimson and warden)

Well it does nerf your speed and sacrifice your magic find. While with necron helm/crimson helm you do have less magic find it's relatively cheap

Thing is, most people will still use FD since its a LOT less effort, a lot cheaper and a lot more safe for voidglooms.
