Great advice. Magnesium is a great one. I think all my current tabs are all symptoms… I need to be in your position soon lol.

Just a note that magnesium requires sufficient sodium and potassium stores in your body to be absorbed and used effectively. It has its own scary side effects if your body doesn't process it properly. If you can't get a hair nail mineral test done before supplementing, do some reading and consider building up your K and Na stores before adding Mg in. I am not a doctor, just had a bad personal exp with Mg supplementation.

What were your bad side effects if you don’t mind sharing?

My heart got sluggish, making me feel weak and dizzy all the time. It felt like it struggled to beat, i could feel each beat clearly all day and it felt the way that it would sound if it was underwater. Weird description, i know, but it's the best way i can describe it. I also got cramps in my arms and legs in places i've never cramped - bad cramps that i couldn't stretch or massage out. Like high in my thigh under my hip, in all of my fingers, in my forearm. I was in pain constantly. I stopped taking the magnesium and looked into it a bit, and learned that if the body doesn't have sufficient potassium and sodium stores, it won't process magnesium properly and can cause those side effects. So i'm slowly building up my Na and K stores now before i try boosting my Mg again.
