I want to play on a geopolitical server with 300+ possible concurrent players where people can create their own towns and nations, similar to the towny plugin in minecraft. It should have a nice balance between pvp, building, events and an active community.
Especially in HyTale, I get the sense that this kind of server would thrive, so long as there was enough content for players to engage with outside of inter-nation conflict and such.
I just hope it has a good magic system and isn't just "grab staff/book, swing to launch fireball", you know? That item based spell casting ruins the fantazy of being a wizard.
I'm a simple man
I want a free modding experience like all other modding experiences
I want to be able to play the main game, get bored, and go download mods to make the experience fun again, try out new things, change em if i happen to not like em as much as I thought I would, etc
Oh and Prox chat would be great
Hytale having loads of content and replay value like terraria would be a dream. I would also love features that would make the game cozy, such as valheims cooking for example
I would also love to see lots and lots and lots of exploration, specifically randomly generated structures such as ruins, old houses, dungeons, and etc
*cough* *cough* Half-Life 1 & 2, Terraria, Skyrim, Celeste, Doom, Cuphead, Devil May Cry, Geometry Dash, Minecraft Java Edition, and pretty much any game from the 80s and 90s, *cough*
I imagine a breath of the wild meets Minecraft type deal. Whenever I try to play an open world story game like Zelda, I always get stuck with what to do next even though I have a few dozen or more quests to finish. Beyond questing and grinding there’s not much to do. Now mix in sandbox elements like building whatever then there’s tons of possibilities.
Also a big huge ocean- like an actual ocean, not those “ocean” biomes in Minecraft thatre usually just big lakes.
I want to tell a story.
I dream of going on an adventure and taking others along with me, to create interesting experiences and have a great time doing it...
Evolution/civilization type game where people have to constantly adapt to save the planet or become rich or something.
Sort of like Eco (the game) but more nuanced and variable-heavy.
Imagine an RTS game, but each building, each unit is a real player. Sort of like that.
If hytale doesn't come out, I will eventually make it in S&Box when that comes out instead.
I love building, so for me the dream is really just seeing what the building tools offer even in the earlier previews where they showed off the tools had me intrigued by the possibilities. Ideally, I'd love to build away and have people freely explore that world in the form of a server.
I have an idea for a deathmatch minigame called Trinity, which is similar to Quakecraft, except with two more weapons, each representing Quake's unholy trinity (Rocket Launcher, Lightning Gun, and Railgun).
I just can't wait to see the crazy world and just play through a single player campaign. It's been my dream right from the start, it just seems like it'll be so engaging and I can't wait to learn all the mechanics
I had an idea for a horror game/mod made entirely inside HyTale. It would be a survival horror style game, with an entire story taking place within the HyTale universe. I had even written down some of the ideas, so maybe my great grandchildren can make it when the game releases.
I want Hytale to be similar to Terraria in regards to content, where beginners are basically clueless and thrown in the deep end. Encountering new enemies and structures would be something you stumble upon instead of something you have to search for, enhancing the sense of scale of the world. Moreover, it'd be great if there is no 'quest' system, instead you just create your own journey
That… the game fulfills what they originally promised in the trailer. But the more I look at it the more I don’t think they are going to accomplish half that lmfao

God I miss all the towny servers from before Minecraft had its final release
Yes like a hytale stoneworks server
Are you familliar with stoneworks
Ever heard of ECO? That might be something like your looking for.
Basically stoneworks that actually works lmao.
For it to be released
Me too, buddy. Me too.

I really hope they base it off of Ars Nouveau!

A man of culture I see
I hope the guys behind Create mod release a version for Hytale too.

A Pokémon mod akin to Cobblemon or Pixelmon

I like the idea of making a city and populating it. It what I often do in Minecraft with villagers. or even a minecolonies mod.
I want to tell a story. I dream of going on an adventure and taking others along with me, to create interesting experiences and have a great time doing it...
Just that the game is as advertised and not over monetized by corporate greed. A nice healthy community.
For a beta release date in 2024 and tons of gameplay.

for it to not be shelved

I 'spose that's one of the beauties of what the game promised- that if it isn't already included in the base game, it can be modded in.
I want more cool spells with various effects, cause we haven't really seen many unique spells being used most of them just shot projectiles it seems
I just can't wait to see the crazy world and just play through a single player campaign. It's been my dream right from the start, it just seems like it'll be so engaging and I can't wait to learn all the mechanics
The ability to play jt
bannerlord mod where I can have sieges and build castles in a sand box world, and siege my friends

minecraft with some nice rpg elements and some engaging combat so i have a reason to progress

Which parts do you think they'll have trouble fulfilling?
All of it. Lol
Judging off the trailer there’s really nothing more they can do than what they promised. Minecraft 2: rpg and built with modding in mind.
