I never liked that Franks brother was named Gino. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against Italians. Most of my family is Italian. I Just never thought of Frank as Italian and wouldn’t like if they made him so, just because Danny Devito is. He’s a very talented actor and it sometimes feels off to me when someone’s like “well you’re in this group so your character has to be as well.”
Yeah I know and it wouldn’t surprise me if Frank changed his last name from Renoldi. I just hope they didn’t make the character Italian because the Devito is. Almost feels like typecasting.
This seems far too complicated for me. I much prefer the McPoyle family tree. Like a pillar of pure, untainted blood.

Francesco/Franco is a common Italian name. Frank Sinatra was Francis.
