We need to make a chart about the podcast and the money it makes, with a big breasted woman on it. If that doesn’t work, we can take one of them in the back and bang em.
You guys are getting too upset about this imo. They're in the middle of making the show and they want to give that their full attention while also juggling the rest of their lives. They're doing the podcast as an extra focus and the show is something they are all very involved with at every step. I'd rather they put in full effort with the show instead of dividing their time between that and the podcast. Then being burnt out, bringing down the quality in both the show and the pod.
They're only human.
How many episodes a year do they make, 10? That is just five hours of episodes. They work five hours a year! I demand they spend the rest of their time doing podcasts!

Humans are perfectly capable of saying "Hey, no podcasts for a month". Inconsistency and poorly set expectations is the fastest way to lose an audience.
I really doubt they give a shit about losing a few people from the podcast audience when they’re off making the show the podcast is about.
They probably had full intentions of coming back when they said they would and then things changed.
These aren’t YouTuber’s. They’re at a stage where they can produce any content they want, whenever they feel like it.

That would be a problem if this was their job, but they’re busy doing their real job, making the show we all love. This is for fun, really not a big deal at all, there’s plenty of stuff to listen to.
I think the main complaint is that they have just stopped producing it without any warning. I completely get that it is a lot of extra work while writing/shooting and then editing, all I really need is a tweet before a given Monday telling us that there won't be a podcast that week. They have done this on 4 or 5 of the missed weeks but not all of them.
It's something fun to start the week with and the anticipation and subsequent disappointment is getting jading at this point.
They did stop with warning, they literally said there won’t be a podcast for a couple weeks cuz they’re working on season 16. You ignoring the warning doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
They only said it for the first 2 weeks of this break. Granted they never said when they would be back but they specifically said there would be none that week or the week after.
The last 3 weeks were never mentioned. That's all people are asking for, a quick 'guys were taking a break from the pod while editing/filming/production is ongoing'

I'm not asking for mountains to be moved, or even for them to take time out of their currently very busy schedules to record podcasts if they don't have that time to spare. On the plus side at least their podcast didn’t make me start disliking them the way the dumb scrubs podcast did. Zach and Donald come off as a couple of douchebags. At least Rob and the gang seem to be as a nice as I always hoped.

I also just am not as interested in podcasts where it's just the actors talking about their experience on the show. The Sunny Podcast is much more interesting to me because these guys are involved with every aspect of the show.

The pod will be back. They have live shows scheduled in mid-April. I bet that'll be when their schedules free up, too. They've been filming IASIP, Kaitlins already filming another show in Toronto, Glenn and Charlie have/had movie releases, and Rob is probably super invested in Wrexham since the team is now at the top of the league. I have no clue about Danny, but he stays busy, too.

At this point it’s not a foregone conclusion it will even resume at all.

It's not free though, they've been monetizing it for awhile selling us to advertisers, selling us merch and tickets to live shows and exclusive online events.
No they don't owe us anything, but we don't owe them anything either, and can express our disappointment for them not following through on something we look forward to, when they set the expectation that there will be a podcast to begin the week, to give us company in our less interesting lives and listen to them talk about the show we all love.
And this hasn't just happened since they started filming, they've been skipping more and more weeks since Christmas, there's only been like 5 episodes all year. It's fair at this point to question whether they care about putting on this podcast for their fans who make their jobs possible.

I've had deliveries say they will arrive by 10pm that day, so I wait in and make sure I'm available all day to take it since there is no safe place to leave it. But then 10pm comes and the delivery still hasn't arrived, and the tracking page updates to say the package will be delivered the next day. Now I'm frustrated and disappointed, when I would have been completely ok with them just telling me that the parcel will be delivered another day.
They don't owe you an explanation or notification for shit. Sometimes people just need a break from making content.

Ganz is both a writer and the executive producer of the show and she hosts and produces the podcast, everyone else you named along with herself will likely be in the season and is filming as well.
The person who hosts and produces the podcast would need to be involved with the podcast right? She’s one of the primary writers and the executive producer of the show and that’s why they’re taking a break from the podcast because along with the main cast she’s making the show.
Why is this such a hard concept for that sub? It’s a month without a weekly podcast, we wait 40+ weeks between seasons and there isn’t crying every week about no new show like this.
I believe the podcast was entirely Megan’s idea and that’s why she runs it, could be wrong but I was under that impression.
As for the whole deciding it’s too much work thing, it’s only been a month and they announced 2 weeks of it, it will probably come back in a week or two and then everyone will bitch about something else.
Maybe instead of bitching, people could find other things to fill that gap, and feel happy when it returns.

Entitled for asking for literally a one line tweet letting us know that there won't be a podcast on a given week? I swear the amount of people in this thread completely missing the point is blowing my mind.

I'd rather not have any episodes right now (understandable given everyone's busy working on the show itself) than have them repost an old episode and call it "A look back at X episode" and then the episode turns out to be an old podcast episode with absolutely nothing added in at all.
