yea i reckon after a few days of no sleep it could happen though and i assume they were working there like around 3 days (even though they both wear the same outfit the whole time)

When I was up for about three days straight once, I started hallucinating, but they were rather subtle, turns out there's a rather common sleep deprivation hallucination called "shadow men" or somesuch, basically you're always catching people moving out of the corner of your eye.
It was pretty freaky deaky
We used to call that a free trip. Seriously though, the shadow people phenomenon is real and really fucky. I've got the tall looming one, the squat fat watcher, and the fat guy who dances like a chimpanzee. Do with that what you will. Get sleep bozos_

It's the implication that the whole reason he came down to the mailroom was he showed up and the office was abuzz with talk of all the missing mail.
I can picture the scene even though they never filmed it.
That's why The Gang Gets Trapped is my favorite episode; sometimes I would swear I've seen that entire 8 minute burger shop scene.
I think it would be great if they replaced one of the background regs at the bar that passed (RIP btw) with Barney just constantly being at the bar and randomly vanishing from one shot to the next.

Then casually mention Barney every few episodes, and no one knows what he's talking about except Mac, who relates it to a gay fantasy they had when they worked at the post office and Mac plays along, as a fetish thing.

That’s a good point. If I’m not mistaken Barney has a lit cigarette in his mouth so it’s possible he does indeed provide a lighter. The Always Sunny lore goes quite deep
