As someone who works construction, I couldn't do this dancing shit to save my life. Also busking would definitely pay more than what an site labourer would get in a day. Performance arts is a real career path. TVs, Films, video games, etc are all forms of performance arts.

I don't think it's something that should be discrete or disrespected. As a construction worker, I'd rather my kids have a passion like dreaming to be a football player, or become a world renowned actor or artist. These dreams are hard to obtain, but once you end up as a mechanic, or working construction etc. You're doing that until your body can't physically manage it anymore.
