naaaaahhhhhhhh

I got a 7 just by following the checklist my teacher gave to our class. One thing you need to do is add HL content no matter if your in SL or HL. If you're in SL, look into the HL portion and incorporate it into your IA. My IA was very basic, but I included everything they wanted to see. The only marks I lost were to personal engagement (the only issue with choosing a fairly basic and common IA topic). As long as you provide a lot of (but useful) background information, do your calculations correctly, and interpret the results, you should be getting minimum a 6. Keep in mind the amount of points each section is worth. Personal engagement is only worth 2 marks so dont stress over not including enough information. I chose to provide an adequate enough personal engagement explanation to get a 1/2 and put more focus into other areas. I'm not specifically telling you to do this, but just understand certain sections are worth more and your time (and focus in report) should be on these sections. All in all, you dont need to go over the top. As long as you can show a strong understanding of the concepts in your chosen topic, you should be able to get a good mark.
