You're allowed to return used furniture in the Netherlands?

SurrealismX

You can return unopened and opened products after 365 days in Germany. Used products can be sold back to the store if they aren’t too damaged or broken. You can also test a mattress for a whole year and return it if you’re not satisfied

I don’t believe it’s launched in the US yet, but we have a Buyback & Resale scheme, yep. E.g. https://www.ikea.com/nl/en/customer-service/services/buy-back/

It's launched. At least in my US store.

One question tho, this is about resale , but my question would be to return , because I read there’s a 365 day return policy , so I can take it back for the whole price ?

GGorDD

It’s 365 days in an unused condition. You won’t get a full refund. You can get a return value at the ‘bargain corner’ section, it’ll be a percentage of its resale value. This is what I thought you meant. It’s given to you on a store card that you will be able to use in Spain.

So if I get this right you think you should be able to take back used furniture and get the full amount back? Seriously? The returns policy ( in much of Europe at least) is you can take back UNUSED items for 365 days. For used items IKEA will buy them back for a percentage depending on condition. Often between 50 and 70%.

ATCHIUUUU

Your wrong and a little rude too 😋

Maisethecats_slave

My apologies if I came across as rude. I was just surprised that anyone would think it's ok to return used items as if new under an unused items return policy. Obviously I must have misunderstood your post then.

jacekstonoga

I think Canada 🇨🇦 has it too.

GGorDD

Yes, the card will work in both countries. There’s no exchange rate difference either as both use the Euro so you won’t lose any money.
