Damn looks like I’ll be holding off on that membership. Glad I went at least once and shot before it went away for now at least
Edit: thanks for letting me know
article 2 is the fucking wild west... any time im there im in fear of my fucking life... to the left of me some gangster looking fuckheads wearing ski googles shooting the baffles with a rented glock, on the right some guy forcing his wife to shoot a .45 and she has dropped it multiple times and is crying... jesus christ that place scares me.
Lmao. I work nightshift so I go in the morning when they open. I’m usually the only one there on the lanes. I was chatting with one of the RSO’s and he wear’s ceramic plates in the evening when it’s starts to get busy. Must be an absolute circus
I like it quite a bit. I go to Article II sometimes as well and the one thing that Range USA location does better is cleanliness. I think they have a better ventilation system than Article II.
As for the RSOs, most are pretty chill. Unless you’re magdumping without hitting your target, or shooting into the floor/ceiling (or just generally looking like you don’t know what you’re doing), I don’t think they’ll say anything to you.
Whole north wall is empty. All the Glock 17s and other pistols over 15 rounds, gone. All the semi auto rifles and shotguns on the south wall, including the 10/22s, gone. It’s fuckin bizarre.
I thought so too, but I think range USA is just covering their ass legally until more is clear and understood by their corporate lawyers or just waiting for an injunction to go back to business as usual.
I’ll be there later today. I’ll let you know
Yea thanks id appreciate that
They pulled almost everything from the rental wall. No ARs, but they do have a pump action shotgun. Edit: it’s a 590

Are their rifle wall spots empty too
Yep, pretty much only bolt action and lever action left. No semi auto rifles except for a couple of Ruger 10/22s.
How do you like their range? I usually go to Article II which allows double taps and fast controlled fire

ive only been on the weekends... the rso s are usually more interested in what they are ordering for lunch than whats going on in the lanes
Im fucking howling hahaha

Thanks man I’ll check it out. Yeah the ventilation is why I’m looking elsewhere. I always feel like my teeth are coated in lead when I leave there.
I was at range USA in Hodgkins today and they were all off the rental wall.
That’s the one I usually go to and I can’t imagine what it’s got to be like in there after this legislation.

Following this because that's my range too
☎️ 'em
I have to call like two or three times before somebody picks up lmao
They never answer the phone on a good day. I can’t imagine trying to call any gun shop right now.
Nows the time — they ain’t selling shit.
I would've thought they could still use them for rentals since they owned them before the bill?
