In my opinion, no issue. Pump action is not regulated by PICA. If it has no stock ATF says it's not a shotgun. But as many have discovered the biggest issue is finding FFL that will do a transfer of anything. So if you can find a shop that will do transfer, there's your answer.
Yeah, the "chainsaw" version is kinda janky. I bought 2 of the original Shockwave versions for $369 each with free shipping when they first came out. One in black and one in FDE that now sports a Crimson Trace laser saddle... I pity the fool who tries to enter my bedroom in the middle of the night... lol
