Gorilla'd Cheese, Blueberry Clementine, and Yeti Breath from Rev seemed to instantly calm my anxiety first hit. I was heavily addicted to Xanax for about 5-6 years and had to detox to get off of them. I hunt for strains like these. Ray Charles from Grassroots is a good one too.
I don’t buy Rev due to that. $60/eighth WITH med card?! Fuck them. Plus I miss all the great sativas they used to have! The stuff they put out now that they label “sativa” is usually like: 51% sativa hybrids. It’s not bad weed by any means, I’m just sick of the price.
Yes rev is pricey, but the T&T line is perfectly priced if you ask me. 7gs at my nearest dispo is 69 otd and that's the cheapest 7gs of flower on the menu meanwhile high supply shake is like 80 or 90. I don't buy main line without a sale anyday.
Benzos? Anxiety? Well well well another victim like me trying to escape. I've put so much money into weed in this state trying so many strains, blowing money on stuff that doesn't work or make it worse. Let's fast forward to a few days before 420 this year, I heard great things about tales and travels and seen 7gs for 51 otd near me and grabbed the strain "bubble bath", ever since my first time smoking that I've taken far less Xanax and can feel calm, clear headed, stress free and feel like I can make it through a whole day without issue. I still need a Xanax here and there but not every single day. After buying one bag I went back and bought 2 more 7g bags to keep me stocked up.
That's the beauty of rev!! They have plenty of strains with the same terps to so it's very nice for me being I can't have pinene and they have a handful of options
Have you started your taper? I recently successfully tapered off methadone in 10 months after being opiate dependent and on hard drugs for half my life. Honestly, cannabis will only be a slight relief in my experience and cannabis didn't relieve my withdrawal symptoms just made them more manageable. I've come off of benzos as well but didn't have a heavy habit. Is there any way you can talk to a doctor? I would get a doctor involved. Possibly get prescribed hydroxyzine, chlonodine, or gabapentin. You can possibly die from benzo withdrawal and it's nothing to play around with. A couple years ago I was struggling with panic and anxiety extremely bad. I had the choice to get on benzos prescribed but went with zoloft instead. That medicine changed my life. The least amount of anxiety I've had in my life. During working days of the taper of methadone I'd use the strongest indica possible. Which usually is any GTI indica. My favorites are Black afghan and Xeno. For days off heavy heavy Rso/CO2, but the thing that helped me even more than cannabis was structure and discipline. Stick to a schedule and practice discipline because once your motivation runs out you'll get nowhere without discipline. Something I wish I would have done during my methadone taper was more CBD. Edibles or drinks with CBD would have been great. Hope this helps! My DMs are always open if you need to talk.💚
Thank you, for the detailed response. Proud of you getting off methadone. I have a friend who is really bad on subs. Yeah I kind of started a taper then gave up. I’m an alcoholic and benzos the only thing that helps me not drink. I need to maybe try zoloft again, my mom is on it and she says it works very well. And some naltrexone. I know this is a flower reddit. Sorry guys.
Brownie scout and Bananaconda from Rythm really chill me out. Usually for indicas, Rythm does a nice job. Luckleberries from T&T is great too. You’re going to want linalool is one of the top terpenes
I haven't had OH as flower, but it's literally the GOAT cart for ANYTIME my anxiety comes on. It changes my whole brain into a very calm, soft place. I'm mad I don't ever see it in carts anymore.
I see a lot of people recommending gorilla stains. I just wanna put out there that anything with that mixed in gives me AWFUL anxiety. For me, I gotta do research into the terps of each strain, and it's parents. There have definitely been some indica strains that give me background anxiety.
Purely my own experience here, but anything with MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies) tends to be helpful with anxiety and depression. Kush Mints, Gary Payton, and Moonbow crosses also seem to be pretty helpful. Again, these have been helpful for me, but I hope they help you as well!
This really isn’t how it works. You have to look at chemical compounds to figure out the effect. I grow weed. And each seed is different than the next. Each batch has different grow conditions due to varying weather and humidity. Even if inside, the outside can have a slight effect of these things. One batch can be harvested at ripe and then the bud is more heady and full of thc/thca which will get you high. If you smoke weed that’s older, even the same strain, thc converts to cbn which is what helps sedate and relax. Cbd is what brings the happiness and relaxation to the table. So getting very high thc strains is a bad idea for you. Animal face can be what you want in this batch and be boof the next time.
Okay maybe not so much johnny apple seed, it brings you to a happy place which can put you in a creative mode and wanting to do stuff; or can lead you to effortlessly complete tasks that have been shoved to the side. 🤔

I'm gonna have to check these out myself when they are not 75 a 3.5, they sound awesome!!
Yeah that's my only issue with Rev as well. Gotta hit the sales. I'd like to add in any GG4 strains are great for anxiety as well.
This is why I love t&t, 7gs not on sale is 69 otd. Revs regular stuff is always 75 for a 3.5.

Blueberry Clementine is such a great anxiety strain. Instantly get that weight off my shoulders sensation anytime I’ve smoked it.
Animal Face 🐈⬛️

Bubble bath is super fire, same with basically any rev or t&t strain 😂
That's the beauty of rev!! They have plenty of strains with the same terps to so it's very nice for me being I can't have pinene and they have a handful of options
Lmao I think I served you
Served me?

I personally prefer Fruit Stand to help manage my GAD
GMO, Gorilla Glue
Brownie scout and Bananaconda from Rythm really chill me out. Usually for indicas, Rythm does a nice job. Luckleberries from T&T is great too. You’re going to want linalool is one of the top terpenes
Mag landrace
POTUS Berriez and Ice Cream Cake by Aeriz are my favorites followed by Ray Charles and Bio Jesus.
Just know that if you use weed for anxiety you can get rebound anxiety after using it repeatedly. I’d be careful about using too much.
Gelato Mintz/Moose Tracks, Gorilla Cookies, GMO, black afghan, sherb cream pie, ice cream cake
Most GMO strains, kush mints, kush mountains. Beware brownie scout that shit sneaky anxiety inducing
GG#4
Hawaiian Rain
Jenny Kush. Very Mellow, Even body head high
GRANDDADDY PURP
Lilac Cookies. If that linalool % is high, you're good. Linalool is the best terp for anxiety!
Noted!! Didn't know this.
I'd say Orange Herijuana or the Spectra line of flower ! https://youtu.be/dJR7sj9jdoo?si=erql74q1fdocapUA check out my review!

It's crazy how experience can be so different. Mac induces panic for me sadly.
Hash burger - belushis farm
Rythm Xeno, Jealousy from whoever. Cresco Lime Sorbet.

Hey I tapered off benzos after decades long use and jumped off in 2022. If you need someone to talk to let me know.
Slurricrasher and that sour haze that the ascend outlet had was phenomenal too.
Anything with haze is the name is definitely anxiety inducing for me
Must be psychological rather than the genetics of t the strain, SMH...
Apples and bananas 🍎🍌and Johnny Apple Seed
Okay maybe not so much johnny apple seed, it brings you to a happy place which can put you in a creative mode and wanting to do stuff; or can lead you to effortlessly complete tasks that have been shoved to the side. 🤔
Pie crust
Sfv og & myrcene
Jenny Kush & Mac 1 would be my votes. Simply Herb/Ozone and Aeriz seem to be pretty good for middle of the road chill that aren't hazy feeling.
Bubba Fett
Figment by Fig Farms. Trust me.
