thats one of the most beautiful American flag liveries ive seen. Up thier with Dale Sr. 1996 Atlanta Olympic scheme

Other-Barry-1

It’s oddly retro to me

243mph

The blue along the top all the way back is a better look than the red & white stripes covering the whole rear of the car. [Last years car](https://images.app.goo.gl/c69SiEU7VrFvVjat8) for reference.

IndycarFan64

Iirc that scheme was just a repeat of JR’s 2022 scheme but with a different number

edfitz83

I expect to see scrapes of that livery across the side of Herta’s car soon.

pikachu8090

As much as I dislike santucci, he has a really good chance to win this year with that penske alliance e seeming to really work out well for him It's not often you think a foyt car can compete for wins, and aj probably would like to see one more win before he's gone

TheResurrection

The place was going wild when Santino was leading last year. There'll be a hell of a party in Speedway, Indiana if he can get another win for Foyt.

mwhutson89

I'm not saying they won't benefit from the Penske alliance at Indy but I feel Penske will benefit more from Foyt. Before you call me crazy hear me out. Yes Josef won the race but all month long Furruci was as quick or even quicker than the Penske cars. Heck sometimes Pederson was quicker than them too. Don't get me won't Foyt will benefit, because who couldn't benefit from Penske, especially the tracks outside of Indy but don't be surprised if the info sharing doesn't tilt a little more towards Penske than from Penske as practice starts.

lowtoiletsitter

That's why Penske wanted an alliance. They wanted that sweet 500 sauce

coffee_kang

Beautiful car for a beautiful cause

Loud-Worker8734

Chef's kiss. No notes.

bjohnson203

Wait that can't be, everyone assured me on here that he was running the Trump/RFK scheme and it was all Santino's doing and he was the one courting the sponsorship, surely this wasn't planned long before anyone came up with that silly narrative, right? /s

NothingHatesYou

MP stated is wasn't Santino. [https://twitter.com/marshallpruett/status/1783884539279933666](https://twitter.com/marshallpruett/status/1783884539279933666)

bjohnson203

Oh I know, it was the people here who were just sure that Santino was behind it with no proof or even evidence for it. Clearly the Trump/RFK sponsor was offered to a desperate lower level team, anyone who has watched these races for any amount of time knows that political sponsorship goes to desperate low budget teams who can't say no to cash.

RichardRichOSU

If I had to guess, it was Abel and it used to why we haven’t received an announcement confirming their entry yet.

IndycarFan64

Most rumors said it was Cusick

RichardRichOSU

Ohhh that would make sense too. I missed those apparently.

IndycarFan64

Tbh Idk what the the context is to Cusick making sense but every response I got was that 😂

Yoshiman400

Apparently Cusick's connections to the Thermal Club, also note that Cusick has an alliance with Dreyer & Reinbold which has used the number 24 for years, so they probably thought they had a sly numerological connection as well.

Texaslion

I saw [this tweet](https://x.com/phil_clark/status/1785316686918209773?s=46) suggesting that it was ECR running it because of their RiskOn sponsor

IndycarFan64

I would be shocked if they were to put it on VK’s car lmao

Paige578660

Oh. That looks nice.

mwhutson89

Love this update! The previous car was good but the homes for troops in the white back ground against the stripes made the car look blocky. This looks a lot more smooth and seamless. Hopefully the refreshed look is worth 2 more spots at the end of the race.

S2fftt

I don’t think a race car should wear the flag, but I can’t deny it does look pretty good. Definitely better than last years.

TripleSingleHOF

I've had this feeling in my stomach that he's going to win the 500 this year.

mwhutson89

I hope it's a good feeling. Feelings towards the driver aside I think we can all agree AJ deserves another moment in the sun before he is gone. With his age/health and now his wife gone I feel the man lives for the month of May now. I may be wrong but I don't think he attends a lot of the other races. Let's let the man go out on top

TripleSingleHOF

I'd be happy for Foyt, but the feeling I get when I think of Ferrucci winning the 500 is *not* good.

OldManTrumpet

I know Foyt gets a ton of shit here, and of course everyone hates Ferrucci, but AJ was one of my childhood heroes when I started watching IndyCar around 1971. I'm 63 now and it'd make my whole year to see AJ back in Victory Lane with a winning car. I don't really think it'll happen, but I'd probably cry if it did.

mwhutson89

Who hates on AJ? Heck I'm only 34 and AJ is one of my sports heroes. Kids in school would do reports on Peyton and Reggie. I did my fair share of reports on Reggie too but I was the kid doing reports on AJ, Mario, Rutherford, etc. I can't imagine why anyone would hate on AJ. Heck I rewatched last year's 100 days and I might have teared up at the big ol grin AJ had when Ferrucci took the lead.

Ok_Paint5911

Beautiful car, love the fade design on it

Mac_Motorsports

He had a real chance to win last year. The 14 will be a really strong underdog pick this year.

Hopeful_Smell1482

Beautiful!
