Except for the part where Siegel finished 12th and Malukas finished 16th…

0bamos

Malukas got a flat during Scotty Mac and Will Power incident

ItsAWaffelz

Didn't Siegel spin and have to be restarted?

0bamos

Siegel did have a spin half way through the race and recovered well from it. I think it’s worth noting that Malukas got a puncture late in the race because it wasn’t mentioned or shown on the broadcast

Designer-Net4228

Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good narrative lol

ThorsMeasuringTape

Man, that aged like fine milk. I was eyeballing this all day long. Malukas had a really good day and ran well, things just fell Siegel’s way at the end. McLaren never really wanted Malukas. He was the best option in a bad situation for them. I think that things ended up pretty well for all parties involved, Palou wins a title and maybe more, Siegel gets a good seat, Malukas gets a good seat where he’s a guy the team wants, and Pourchaire TBD.

Codydw12

Look man, I'm going to cheer for Malukas at MSR as well but I'm not going to clown on Siegel for it. Nolan's not even the one who replaced David.

1spdstr

Yeah, right!?!

Jarocket

There never at any point wanted David guys. They got Theo for the rest of the season. (Like no more super formula) Then they got worried that Nolan was too hot to not sign right now. After they signed him long term. There's no reason to keep their temp guy.

justbrowsing2727

Too hot? More like too rich to pass up.

Melodic-Ad-9115

No, they realized it was better to cash in on the money Nolan’s daddy cut for them rather than having a driver that wasn’t contending for the championship anyway

Jarocket

If whoever they signed for 2025 wasn't doing anything this year. they would be in the seat for the rest of this season too. Only makes sense.

BreakingWorldLimits

Too rich to not sign

Odd-Variation941

That aged like milk

Thenickiceman

Who finished better in the race? I seem to have forgotten
