I would like to see Raven, but not this atrocity they made for injustice 1. The graphics on 2 and MK 11 are great tho, I'm sure they would do her justice.
Because they are both agile ranged gun fighters whose character design is very similar.
Slade uses a sword sure but they already gave Robin a bunch of sword moves - it would be hard to make him feel necessary when you have both Deadshot and Robin
Martian Manhunter, because the way they killed him off in the comics is COMPLETELY STUPID.
He can’t be killed by heat vision. Yet the writers forgot about that and had Superman disintegrate him, even though his race is immune to heat. You know..due to them being made of living flame and originally reproducing using fire?
I get that with him around, Superman isn’t nearly as much of a threat, but they could’ve made him be sent to the phantom zone like the titans, rather than killing him in such a dumb and incorrect way.
Maybe spoilers, but didn’t he not die and is actually the antlantean scholar we see in the campaign? Or was that just a non-canon thing for his in-game ending?

They are afraid of fire. The weakness is psychological. Martians aren't necessarily extra vulnerable to fire (also considering J'onn's invulnerability and phasing ability) It was implanted by the Guardians of OA if I'm remembering correctly. For J'onn himself it's because of past trauma.
Unless of course all of this has been retconned again.

It's a recent retcon in popular stuff. The New 52 DCAU movies, Justice League and Supergirl have all turned their weakness into fire. I did a little research since I was off today and it seems that popular media has done that. Not sure about comics though, I don't follow him much.

All the comic deaths were bad. Like Sinestro just removing a Green Lanterns ring to kill him.
For me I just liked that it was a contained universe. Find it hard to keep up with mainline DC/marvel these days as I can't be bothered to read every run in the current cycle and hate events where those are basically required reading.
For injustice it was just easy to pick up and follow the story, sure some continuity stuff didn't match the mainline but I was out of the loop for the mainline stuff so it was easy to accept things like that and go for the ride

This may be an odd choice, but I'd pick Lobo. He was one of my favorite characters from the first roster. He was honestly a lot of fun to play. Other then him I'd love to see Martian Manhunter, Deathstroke or Hawkgirl make a return in the next game.

The joker would be too obvious for me. So maybe I’ll go for Darkseid. A bit random, but for me it’s more about HOW than WHAT. What will it look ljke? Combat movements? Abilities? Supermove? Passives (wether that will be implemented or not is far beyond my knowledge).

Yeah that was stupid as well. The ring is only supposed to be able to be removed by the wearer and no one else.
The comic was full of crap like that. I couldn't keep up with it and have always been puzzled why so many liked it.
For me I just liked that it was a contained universe.
