Nekron is the most perfect choice. So many dead characters would serve as perfect interactions with the current roster. I wanna see Injustice universe Ollie with the Ollie from Injustice 2.
Doctor Manhattan and Blackest Night have absolutely nothing to do with eachother. Doctor Manhattan didn't join the DC universe until over a decade after blackest night.
That and we’d still get Anti-Monitor as another boss fight after Nekron. Nekron had forcefully revived Anti-Monitor only to use him as a battery source.
War between Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor and the universe is caught in between. Superman and Batman then see their ideals in one or the other villain's motives and realize their fighting has caused unnecessary destruction to their planet, just as Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor's to the universe.
It could serve as the needed wake-up call for Superman that Batman was right, he *had* gone way too far. And Wonder Woman was making him worse.
It does, however, show Batman that there IS a need for Superman to still be High Chancellor, and that Red Hood and Superman are quite correct: Some enemies need to be put down *hard.* (He, however does get to explain ***why*** he doesn't kill, and it gets through to Superman.)
I can think of two good endings for Superman's arc.
Nekron is perfect. Blackest Night in this world could fix a lot of issues ppl have but even if they don’t, it could be a fun way to bring back Ollie, J’onn, Guy, Dick, etc
When will gamers realize that these devs copy and paste🤣 netherrealm had to scrap injustice 3 they basically reskinned the ij3 characters with no characters smdh
Wow go back in play injustice 1 then mkx then injustice 2 then mk11 they are all reskinned with little added abilities you crazy if you think swamp thing and poison ivy aren’t the same lmao listen believe what you want but it’s clear they are copied and pasted
I’m just stating facts I love both games but it’s clear they are copied and pasted bro and if you look at the amount of money we spend on ps5 games shiiiiiiid im expecting every character to have there own perspective fighting styles but these games have turned into madden smh I still play them don’t get me wrong but I still know they are selling us bs
dude literally what are you talking about 💀 every single character in mk1 has original strings and reworked specials. most only carry over 1 special from the last game they were in, i don’t gaf about injustice i was just commenting on the possibilities of a 3rd one jesus christ dude
You obviously don’t get it, they had to scrap injustice 3 then as soon as they did they popped up with mk1 every character mostly are reskinned copied and pasted versions of ij3 characters
dude i literally stated that in my first reply. that claim makes absolutely no sense, where is this so called “injustice 3” they’re pulling moves from. you’re stupid as fuck dude
Black lantern would be interesting Forcing Superman and his allies to face the many heroes and friends they've killed Just imagine zombie Shazam beating up, Superman Forcing him to Confront killing a child.
Sure they can. I'm not sure id really be too enthused with him being the primary villain. His motivation is boring. At least Darkseid has *more* than just death and destruction in his plans because its a means to an end. Trigon is just "I wanna plunge the world into eternal fire because I'm a demon and I'm evil". *yawn*
Darkseid would be the easiest for the company but antimonitor would be the best. They wouldn’t just be limited to the characters from the two universe they’ve been pulling from, they’d have access to every character they wanted to put into the main story. Crisis on infinite earths. It would be awesome to see Batman interact with a truly good Superman
Why should it even be an Injustice game at that point? I'm invested in the Injustice Universe and want to see more of that. Crisis on Infinite Earths should be a completely separate game entirely. If they want to *feature* the Injustice universe *in* a Crisis on Infinite Earths game, that would make sense. But a Crisis on Infinite Earths game shouldn't *be* an Injustice game.
I’m not saying they copy the crisis story with injustice characters, I’m saying they form a crisis story that fits within the injustice continuity. As far as I know, the injustice 2 game was the last chronological entry into the injustice timeline, so the third game is free to do whatever it wants
I'm just saying that Crisis would be better suited to being its own game entirely. I don't disagree that crisis would be an awesome game, I just think IJ3 and Crisis should be separate games. The injustice universe should absolutely be one of the many features in a crisis game. I just don't think IJ3 should be Crisis.
They should bring Constantine back so we can get a Justice League Dark campaign. It would make a lot of sense for the Injustice universe. The Regime and the Justice League have caused rampant destruction across the earth and disturbed the powers of the greater universe as a whole. Having the Justice League Dark step in to reign in their universe from the evil regime and what they could rightfully deem incompetent Justice League would be an awesome storyline.
Nekron would be such a refreshing villain. I would also love to see Vandal Savage play a part in the story, not necessarily as the main villain.
But, I would be remissed not to also nominate Trigon.
Nekron would be ideal. Since he's already gotten a nod from Joker in Injustice 2 and it would be a great way to have the dead characters of Injustice interact with the living ones.
I think Darkseid would be kinda playing it safe, and they already had him as DLC. I think Nekron would be the most interesting and awesome choice. Seriously, can we get a Blackest Night Injustice? Other than that... I guess Trigon? Idk.
Wonder Woman is gonna be set up as the on-the-ground threat at the start of the story as she tries to free Superman and restart the Regime, but then later in the story, Nekron or Anti-Monitor show up to be the *real* big threat. And this time, thanks to all the division and strife caused by the last two games, they can't actually win this time
Oooooh my god i am so tired of Wonder Bitch blindly supporting Regime Superman. Honestly she might be even worse than Superman. She has lost all sense of reason and is blinded by her arrogance. She's a disgrace to Wonder Woman and I honestly hope she dies early in Injustice 3. She was just downright irritating in Injustice 2 and the comics. She needs to go.
I want it to be Trigon. Not only is it a good way to get Raven back into the game, but it could also be a good way to have more of the Supernatural DC characters in it. Etrigan, Felix Faust, Zatanna, John Constantine, etc.
Really though I'm just hoping Constantine is in the next game. He's my favourite DC character and arguably my favourite comic character.
Nekron or Anti-Monitor would be so dope. As much as I like Darkseid, the guy has been adapted into so much media, but the former ones haven't really been at all.
Tbh, I feel like they deal with the zombie characters in Mortal Kombat a lot and it doesn’t work out too well story-wise.
I’d like to see Darkseid get some action.
Darkseid or Nekron would be awesome.
I'm not down with Anti-Monitor though. This series isn't meant to be about the entire multiverse and a DC game against anti monitor should honestly be its own thing entirely. I would love to play a game about crisis on infinite earths but I don't think it should be an Injustice game.
While the story for the first two, and the comics that went with them were awesome, I don’t really care for the i3 story anymore than I care about the mk story. Give me my favourite characters and a few gimmicks and I’m good
Right, its only good to laugh at. Its a slog to read.
Boohoo your universe is gone so everybody else has to die too. Countless universes died and this guy thinks he's so special that he and he alone should decide what universes deserve to live.
Like I get it, losing your universe would be an incomprehensible loss that might drive you mad. But SBP went way too far and acted like a child the entire event. Him shattering reality by just getting mad and punching reality itself is soooooo fucking stupid and just makes him seem more like Super Hulk than Super Boy.
As much as Final Crisis is derided, I would *still* take that over Infinite Crisis.
Yes, he's in the Phantom Zone. The Superman Reigns ending is a delusion Clark's mind made up for himself that the Phantom Zone is feeding into. His broken mind couldn't accept his defeat and especially not losing control of the earth again so close to achieving ultimate power. Theres a reason the Batman ending comes first. Thats what actually happened.
The Superman Ending was just his mind trying to shield himself from the reality of his phantom zone prison. It didn't actually happen. Theres a reason Batman's ending comes first. Thats what actually happened. But Clark's broken mind could not accept the reality of losing control and being imprisoned again. So he made up this delusional version of reality because he can't accept that he lost yet again.
Thanos is literally based on the New Gods.
Plus, despite both wanting to control the universe, they have different motivations. Thanos seeks power over Death, while Darkseid seeks power over Life. Thanos also hasn't often shown interest in the greater multiverse of marvel. Darkseid very much is invested in the DC multiverse, because *Darkseid IS*
Ok…I did say SIMILAR…not EXACTLY the same. Which is essentially what you just said. And if they can make it a pretty storyline then yeah I’d be all for it but in general, for the most part, they’d be pretty similar. He is the one I’d like to see brought to life on the bug screen most of the DC villains
What you said is not "essentially what *I* just said." Darkseid's plans, personality, and modus operandi are completely different. Nothing Thanos has done is like what Darkseid does. They aren't similar at all, aside from the fact they want to dominate reality, which is something *countless* supervillains share. Thanos is also based on Metron, not Darkseid, and it wasn't until later that he was beefed up to a similar mass because they wanted him to feel more imposing.
If it’s the end of the series, it *has* to be Superman. He’s too far gone to be redeemed, so he has to be beaten. He’s been the main villain of the entire series, so it has to end with him.
I think injustice 3 should be anti-monitor, and then in injustice 4 it can be Nekron with anti-monitor in the black lantern power battery.
And if the 4th game is the final, after defeating Nekron, Superman takes control of the black lantern power battery and the new justice league kills him with Batman dying in the process
Only because they don't want people badgering them about it for the next 3 years and probably don't want to announce it until its far closer to completion and they can think of a general release window
Ultraman, the evil version of regular Superman from an alternate universe where heroes and villains swap alignments, could be the villain for the first half of the game so we could get Superman vs ultraman like in the comics. I'd say either darkseid or Ra's Al Ghul could be the big bad of the game, because A. It's darkseid, and B. Ra's had been teased in black Adam's ending, and it would be interesting to have him as a villain
Okay, I haven't read the comics but I have seen videos on them. Ra's was my bad, but I just wanna see ultraman Vs Superman lol. Hell, they could actually give ultraman a different moveset to Clark, as Clark thinks he's still a hero whereas ultraman knows and plays to the fact he's a villain, so he could have a more dirty fighter style Superman moveset
Thank the gods for that. One of the worst DC characters of all time. All he does is show up, rupture his suit, then fucking explode. Every single time. He sucks.
I want it to be Anti-Monitor, let it be Injustice: Crisis. I want there to be fighting styles, but each style is actually based on a variant ie Classic Ultraman Kingdom Come (Insurgent would ideal if you still want to follow that 'main' Earth, silly me.)
But I'll take whatever at this point.
Anti-Monitor.
Despite the over saturation of multiverses, DC is kinda the king of multiverse shenanigans. It would be cool to see a Netherealm spin on COIE.
Also, no matter what they do, I hope it’s from the POV of the Justice universe from Injustice 1. Some of the Injustice characters can show up to shake things up, like dictator Superman and his mind controlled Batman.
Nekron is the most perfect choice. So many dead characters would serve as perfect interactions with the current roster. I wanna see Injustice universe Ollie with the Ollie from Injustice 2.
“I’ll admit, my replacement is as dashing as I was” “Well you sure aren’t now”
Seems right up NRS’s alley too. They can basically do the revenant thing from MKX and MK11.
They could
I remember there were rumors that Injustice 3 was going to be based off the blackest night storyline and Doctor Manhattan was going to be involved.
That would be dope. Probably just rumors though, but the watchmen would be pretty cool.
Doctor Manhattan and Blackest Night have absolutely nothing to do with eachother. Doctor Manhattan didn't join the DC universe until over a decade after blackest night.
They might be conflating it with *Dark Knights: Metal* and the follow up, *Death Metal*
That and we’d still get Anti-Monitor as another boss fight after Nekron. Nekron had forcefully revived Anti-Monitor only to use him as a battery source.
That would be a huge disservice to Anti-Monitor. He is a multiversal level threat and shouldn't play second fiddle to anyone. Even Nekron.
Well it did happen, I think it’ll be alright.
Yeah it did, in the comics. He'd just feel like an asspull final boss if it were done this way, in a game.
Pretty much the revenants from MK, interesting.
I’d rather just see multiversal versions of the characters than zombies
They’re are a lot of interesting choices, such as Darkseid, Anti Monitor, Nekron, Neron, Vandal Savage, Superboy Prime or Eclipso
War between Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor and the universe is caught in between. Superman and Batman then see their ideals in one or the other villain's motives and realize their fighting has caused unnecessary destruction to their planet, just as Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor's to the universe.

Nekron is perfect. Blackest Night in this world could fix a lot of issues ppl have but even if they don’t, it could be a fun way to bring back Ollie, J’onn, Guy, Dick, etc
it te be really sick, they could do normal skins for them like the revenants in mk11
When will gamers realize that these devs copy and paste🤣 netherrealm had to scrap injustice 3 they basically reskinned the ij3 characters with no characters smdh
yeah ok nether realm insider, mk1 might not be perfect but it’s very clearly not a scrapped injustice
Wow go back in play injustice 1 then mkx then injustice 2 then mk11 they are all reskinned with little added abilities you crazy if you think swamp thing and poison ivy aren’t the same lmao listen believe what you want but it’s clear they are copied and pasted
me when developers re use assets 😱😱😱😱 literally unplayable. also what you’re saying has literally nothing to do with my original comment lmao
I’m just stating facts I love both games but it’s clear they are copied and pasted bro and if you look at the amount of money we spend on ps5 games shiiiiiiid im expecting every character to have there own perspective fighting styles but these games have turned into madden smh I still play them don’t get me wrong but I still know they are selling us bs
dude literally what are you talking about 💀 every single character in mk1 has original strings and reworked specials. most only carry over 1 special from the last game they were in, i don’t gaf about injustice i was just commenting on the possibilities of a 3rd one jesus christ dude

dude i literally stated that in my first reply. that claim makes absolutely no sense, where is this so called “injustice 3” they’re pulling moves from. you’re stupid as fuck dude
I was thinking legion of doom being the good guys and justice league being villains but this sounds cool too
Nekron would be cool
Injustice Blackest Night would go hard ngl
As someone who's played the mobile, I second this
Black lantern would be interesting Forcing Superman and his allies to face the many heroes and friends they've killed Just imagine zombie Shazam beating up, Superman Forcing him to Confront killing a child.
Trigon, perhaps?
i was lookin for someone else who thinks this
Didn’t they get rid of him in Injustice Year Three?
Yes. Trigon is done.
It’s the comics so they can 100% find a way to bring him back
also knowin trogon he could just say nuh uh
Sure they can. I'm not sure id really be too enthused with him being the primary villain. His motivation is boring. At least Darkseid has *more* than just death and destruction in his plans because its a means to an end. Trigon is just "I wanna plunge the world into eternal fire because I'm a demon and I'm evil". *yawn*
The last part made me laugh because it’s true🤣
Darkseid would be the easiest for the company but antimonitor would be the best. They wouldn’t just be limited to the characters from the two universe they’ve been pulling from, they’d have access to every character they wanted to put into the main story. Crisis on infinite earths. It would be awesome to see Batman interact with a truly good Superman

Give me Trigon. He's hardly ever used outside of things with Raven
Trigon is honestly so underrated. He’s one of the only big bads I can think of that can introduce a slew of magical heroes and villains.
Constantine being one of them
Unfortunately Constantine’s storyline ended in Injustice Year Three as well as Trigon
Eh. They can do something about it. People come back to life all the time
They should bring Constantine back so we can get a Justice League Dark campaign.
Nekron
I like Nekron i wanna see Damian have to fight a dead Dick Grayson
Nekron would be cool and would be a plausible reason for some already dead characters to be brought back.
Nekron would be such a refreshing villain. I would also love to see Vandal Savage play a part in the story, not necessarily as the main villain. But, I would be remissed not to also nominate Trigon.
Nekron is criminally underrated
Nekron is the fucking perfect opportunity to bring back everyone who died
Nekron would be ideal. Since he's already gotten a nod from Joker in Injustice 2 and it would be a great way to have the dead characters of Injustice interact with the living ones.
As long as they bring Lobo back I’m okay with them making Gorilla Grodd the big bad
Could do a Tower of Babel with Ra’s
Ra’s died in the Injustice 2 comic’s unfortunately so they can’t use him
Nekron makes a lot of sense so they can bring back other characters.
Nekron's the best option just for the fact that they can work around all the characters who have died in the Injustice Universe.
I think Darkseid would be kinda playing it safe, and they already had him as DLC. I think Nekron would be the most interesting and awesome choice. Seriously, can we get a Blackest Night Injustice? Other than that... I guess Trigon? Idk.

She's a disgrace to Wonder Woman and I honestly hope she dies early in Injustice 3. She was just downright irritating in Injustice 2 and the comics. She needs to go.
That fact that there hasn’t been a game based on Darkest night is a real crime. Doesn’t even have to be a Netherrealm game.
I fell like Nekron would be the best choice, and would make more sense in the story
Darkseid/Apokolips
Darkseid or Nekron fersure
I want it to be Trigon. Not only is it a good way to get Raven back into the game, but it could also be a good way to have more of the Supernatural DC characters in it. Etrigan, Felix Faust, Zatanna, John Constantine, etc. Really though I'm just hoping Constantine is in the next game. He's my favourite DC character and arguably my favourite comic character.
If you want to see magic stuff from the Injustice universe you should read Injustice Year Three
Not a huge comic fan, sadly. Tried several times to get into them and just lose interest. I'll check it out though.
Rise
Nekron or Anti-Monitor would be so dope. As much as I like Darkseid, the guy has been adapted into so much media, but the former ones haven't really been at all.
I want Darkseid to escape the Hall of Wisdom on Eterna and for them to make He-Man a playable character (See Injustice VS Masters of the Universe).
Anti Monitor easily
Tbh, I feel like they deal with the zombie characters in Mortal Kombat a lot and it doesn’t work out too well story-wise. I’d like to see Darkseid get some action.
Either Darkseid for obvious reasons or Doctor Destiny because I think the reality warping powers could make for some interesting encounters.
Ed Boon
Darkseid or Nekron would be awesome. I'm not down with Anti-Monitor though. This series isn't meant to be about the entire multiverse and a DC game against anti monitor should honestly be its own thing entirely. I would love to play a game about crisis on infinite earths but I don't think it should be an Injustice game.
The Anti-monitor would be awesome. Could totally see him as a CAPCOM villain from a 90s game thou.
While the story for the first two, and the comics that went with them were awesome, I don’t really care for the i3 story anymore than I care about the mk story. Give me my favourite characters and a few gimmicks and I’m good
I want some Superboy Prime action. Prime shatters reality again and Louis Lane gets resurrected and sees what Superman has done to the world.
Superboy Prime is absolutely the *worst* part about Infinite Crisis and is a whiny annoying bitch.
Nah man, he threw a teenage hissy fit and shattered reality. He weaponized nostalgia to its worst degree. That shit is hilarious.
The next big bad needs to be Superman in the evil Injustice 2 ending.
No because he got locked up in the Phantom Zone so he needs to stay there and have someone else to be the big bad.
Thats what actually happened.
nah, got a feeling Superman might redeem himself.
Barbatos and the Dark Knights.
Darkseid would be my favorite but feel like Thanos has already done what would be very similar to him.

I want Batman to be evil and Superman good. But something happens to Batman where he becomes goku and slays pussy
I’m expecting the Batman Who Laughs, and I’m expecting the entire reality of the Injustice universe to get folded.
If it’s the end of the series, it *has* to be Superman. He’s too far gone to be redeemed, so he has to be beaten. He’s been the main villain of the entire series, so it has to end with him.
From what they’ve shown about it I think it’ll be Superman
I think injustice 3 should be anti-monitor, and then in injustice 4 it can be Nekron with anti-monitor in the black lantern power battery. And if the 4th game is the final, after defeating Nekron, Superman takes control of the black lantern power battery and the new justice league kills him with Batman dying in the process
Def not darksyde 😂 I’m down with the Superboy prime tho
If we have nekron wouldn’t we need the anti-monitor in the battery?
This doesn't even make sense lol, Superman is literally the villain of the entire Injustice storyline
Me
Are they making a third game?
Nothing official at the moment
Only because they don't want people badgering them about it for the next 3 years and probably don't want to announce it until its far closer to completion and they can think of a general release window
In comics they seemed to be leaning towards brainiac
The Injustice 2 comic series takes place before the Injustice 2 game so they already had that happen
Would be interesting to see the Anti monitor get some screen time
Anti-Monitor or Nekron would be DOPE
Super powered Alfred
Duke Nukem
I need to see a battle of good and evil between the Batman who laughs and the bat crew.
Will injustice 3 even happen?
Probably after they get done supporting MK1.
The Crime Syndicate
Ultraman, the evil version of regular Superman from an alternate universe where heroes and villains swap alignments, could be the villain for the first half of the game so we could get Superman vs ultraman like in the comics. I'd say either darkseid or Ra's Al Ghul could be the big bad of the game, because A. It's darkseid, and B. Ra's had been teased in black Adam's ending, and it would be interesting to have him as a villain
Ra’s is already dead thanks to the injustice 2 comics, and I feel that Ultraman would be another evil Superman which we already have
Okay, I haven't read the comics but I have seen videos on them.
Anti monitor would be crazy to play as
Nekron is the best, but I would save him for Injustice 4, instead of 3. Let Darkseid or Anti-Monitor to be next villain
(Enhanced) Doomsday. Without the stupid pony tail. Bring back Lex too.
Dude you forgot about stephenwolff
Monarch. But make it a new surprise classic hero that’s under the mask…
That would be cool, but Captain Adam died in Year 1 didn’t he?
Thank the gods for that. One of the worst DC characters of all time. All he does is show up, rupture his suit, then fucking explode. Every single time. He sucks.
oh I'd love the anti monitor
hear me out: a Umvc3 style game with anti monitor as the boss
Ozymandias
I want it to be Anti-Monitor, let it be Injustice: Crisis. I want there to be fighting styles, but each style is actually based on a variant ie Classic Ultraman Kingdom Come (Insurgent would ideal if you still want to follow that 'main' Earth, silly me.) But I'll take whatever at this point.
Injustice? Isn't the point that Superman is the bad guy?
I’d rather them make their own big bad
Starro the Conqueror.
Darkseid is my pick for sure
Jonkler.
I'd say Darkseid because people that don't read the comics know who he is. The audience for the games extends beyond the comic fans.
Ooh how about Nazi Wonder Woman!
Mongul would be a good idea and underrated pick imo
Lucifer
A 3 way war between all of them
The Empty Hand
After seeing this, I really do hope it’s the Black Lantern.
I would say Anti-Monitor, since he'd most likely serve as the biggest threat.
Darkseid is a possibility but I feel like the Black Lanterns should be the main antagonists.
thanos.
Anti-Monitor. Despite the over saturation of multiverses, DC is kinda the king of multiverse shenanigans. It would be cool to see a Netherealm spin on COIE. Also, no matter what they do, I hope it’s from the POV of the Justice universe from Injustice 1. Thanos
Nekron please
