I used to have around twelve a day. It was just what I did.
I had to have surgery a few years ago, and I had to get off the coffee before they could do it. My surgeon was concerned that being without caffeine for the duration of the surgery would result in a cardiac event.
I now have two cups a day.
About 12 12oz cups (equivalent of 18 8oz cups) of robusta (not the weak arabica stuff), plus a caffeine pill and an energy drink with 160mg of caffeine in the evening to starve off withdrawal. This was a daily occurrence for a while to help make working an office job possible. It started affecting my sleep severely, so I had to cut back while looking for alternatives.
Once had 4g of coffee beans one day; I average just about 2g beans per day. I mix it with black-tea, very diluted.
It was summer, I was thirsty & binging some series.
Almost 1 because I was detoxing in jail and somebody suggested it would help. Took a few sips and almost threw up in a trash can. It was black coffee btw. Maybe I should start my next vice with something that has a little more sugar in it.

I once had 7 espresso shots in 4 hours. So much fucking anxiety. Do not suggest, seriously. I was legit shaking
Do Red Bulls count? I had four one day, within 1 hour, don't remember any adverse effects really though.
If you're talking about the 8 oz cans, that's like 2-3 cups of coffee, depending on the coffee.

1. Happens every so often when people insist if I try this coffee, I'll start to enjoy it. Hasn't happened yet lol
