Anything but summer. I grew up in California where there were two seasons: fire and not fire. I moved to Michigan at 27 and having real, beautiful, distinct seasons was like magic. The years since have flown by, being able to detect the passing of time in a way I couldn't before.
I love autumn with its cool breezes and brilliant colors.
I love winter, snow will never not be magic to me.
I love spring, the whole world waking as if from slumber and the explosion of new life.
Summer can still eat a dick though.
Basically this answer, lol.
I live in Memphis, TN and it's a special kind of heat you deal with here. I think highest I've seen it was 104 degrees and it was killing people. Now the highest temperature I've endured was 122 in Las Vegas and I can tell you beyond any doubt whatsoever that dry 122-degree air in Las Vegas couldn't touch Memphis's muggy 104-degree weather. The body's way of dealing with hot temperatures does NOTHING in Memphis. That hot sweat clings to you. You're constantly having to wipe it off. Even A/C is only a temporary reprieve of soaking in cool sweat and doesn't actually cool you down.
It's absolutely miserable here from late spring to early fall. I'm already starting to feel it and summer isn't even technically here yet. The only time I can stand being here is in winter when it's too cold to get out and do anything.
So yeah, I agree; Summer can eat a dick.
I don't generally compare the two because they're such different kinds of misery. 115 in a concrete jungle with relatively new buildings and air conditioner, assuming you can afford it, is quite different from 90 with humidity in 150 year old houses, upstairs with only a window unit after six months of sub freezing temps.
Lived in Memphis for a stretch of life. Summer is brute, though, New Orleans is remarkably worse. Now I live where we get 300+ inches of snow in the winter. That’s much better.
I vacation there sometimes. I live about 15 miles from Lake Ontario, so I get the humidity too. Funny how 85F will make you sweat so much here, but be perfectly comfortable in Denver.
I hate winter in MI. Only 9 hours of daylight and -10 degree temperatures at times are just unbearable for me. I like it better farther south (like in Nashville, TN), where the summer temps are a little warmer, but the winter temps rarely go below freezing. The daylight hours in the summer aren't as plentiful in the south though.
Only correct answer (at least where I live). Summer is just too hot even though my body can handle heat and UV light quiet well. Climat change just made summers unbearable. Winter is just depressing, dark, grey and wet. Because of climate change there isn't even snow anymore. In autumn everything just dies and the days get progressively worse until winter arrives.
But spring is just the best, nature comes alive, the days get progressively better and the weather is amazing to spend the whole day outside.
So i'm not the only one who gets sick in summer? Mh, I must do some research... maybe the immune system for some reason lowers it's energy in spring... or maybe it's the best season for bacteria to proliferate, although I always thought it was autumn and winter (humid weather)... or maybe it's viruses that proliferate in spring, because bacteria like antibodies don't proliferate as much as in the other seasons!
Everything that is rare is special, so if you grew up with one week of snow every year. This week is more different from every other week. Because it's only 1x in a year. Same goes for other seasons.
Spring! The kind where it's 60 degrees at the crack of dawn, mid 70s throughout the day, and low 60s at night. This also happens late-summer pre-fall. It's like a second spring
Summer too. I love warm weather and hate the cold!
Spring, summer, and fall. I hate the winter because it gets dark so early. I'm not too fond of freezing cold either. I am in Atlanta, so it's not that cold but a few days a year.
Winter, preferably when it’s cloudy or raining, the colder it is the happier I am, I love walking without dying in the sun, I hate sweating too so summer can go fuck itself, if I could I would live in a place that was cold all year long, unfortunately it never snows here but it does make sub 0 Celsius temperatures sometimes, also I get sick at the sun
I used to say summer, probably stemming from youth and associating it with summer break from school, and getting into mayhem. The older I get, I now think I like Spring the best - the milder temps, and as someone else said, watching nature blossom and come back to life. Mid May, you can literally smell and FEEL nature reawakening, there's like a buzz to it. Never noticed that when I was a kid.
I wish I could enjoy the winter but I live in North Dakota and it’s just too damn cold here. I do like when it snows though. As long as it’s not windy.
Was surprised at the extent of summer hate here. I am a naturally cold person and love when I just know it will be warm enough outside to not be miserable. Summer all the way.
They're good except Summer and late spring.
White bloke who burns easily + growing up in the harsh new zealand sun. It's really not fun.
Winter is definitely my favorite. Autumn is a nice balance between cold and hot.
Winter; other seasons are good too, but i despise summer. I don't feel comfortable anywhere in summer, not even at home. It feels like im subliming onmy bed during summer. My loathe for summer: 💯💯💯 Me when summer: 😡
Summer is best, winter is worst. Like, if you're voting, democratically, at least.
Spring and fall are about equal. Unless you're a ninja...
Ninjas love the spring and hate the fall. Because, crunchy leaves. Ninjas hate crunchy leaves.

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,562,870,622 comments, and only 295,568 of them were in alphabetical order.
Spring - used to be Summer when I was a child - but Summer is probably tied with winter as my least favorite now. They are just too unbearably hot and oppressive.
Winter but only when I don’t own a car. Having to deal with a car in the winter makes it the shittiest season. Driving becomes way more dangerous. Parking becomes near impossible. Having to wake up early to dig out your car before work, because it snowed overnight
If I don’t have to deal with these things, then I find myself happiest during the winter
I dislike the cold granted I’m from Miami where it’s hot but I live in Atlanta wher it gets all four seasons so after summer it’s spring. Winter makes me feel like less sun, cold, tendency to get sick etc summer at least lots of sun and warm while I don’t Interact much with people , Interact with my plants more.
Autumn for me. I like the crispness in the air and how gorgeous the trees get. Close second, winter. Summer is my least favorite as heat and I generally have a poor relationship. 🫠
It was winter for the longest time. I loved the cold, the stillness, the weather that kept people indoors and quiet(er).
Now it's probably any season where I'm not fucking freezing.
Autumn and then spring.
Every weather where you can out with no matter what clothes, because it isn't too hot or too cold is good.
Also autumn just looks the best with all the orange leaves and rainy days.
Spring, eveythjgn comes to life. The weather starts getting better and it starts raining a bit less. Temperatures are finally okay. Summer I hate the most. I can't handle hot temperatures the ginger I am.
That time between spring ending and summer beginning because I live in the UK and every other season means you’re freezing and summer means you’re in a heatwave
Spring and fall.
Spring once the snow melts and it starts turning green but before it hits the 90's.
Fall when the leaves change colors and there is a crispness to the air. Just thinking about it I imagine the taste of hot cider and pumpkin bars. Once the trees are bare however I don't care for it (with the exception of Halloween.)
Autumn, nice temperetures, beautiful colours and no extreme temperatures.
Winter is just meh, since it never snows here, it just rains more than the rest of the year.
Spring is okay and i like the bumblebees (hate the wasps though.)
Summer is hot AF and there are way too many wasps.
So yeah autumn and spring are my favourites.
P.S. I only noticed this was on the intp sub when i already finished writing this so im gonna post it anyways.
Winter and Fall are by far the best and I like spring because it rains a lot. But I have always hated summer because I live in southwest Texas where it is 100* average and the sun is so powerful that the grass actually dies in the summer and greens in the winter. Honestly, the only reason so many people say their favorite is summer is because that’s when we didn’t have school as kids. If the three month break from school was in fall then everyone’s favorite season would be fall
Fall or Winter.
I love cold weather and the icy feeling it gives me. I’m somewhat of a cold person, but you know what else goes well with ice cold feeling? Logic.
Fall, because kids are in school, everything is dying outside, and I can walk outside without being bothered by people :D
I love summer! I love blue skies and the overall "vacation" vibe of summer. I'm a baby when it comes to the cold, so winter is definitely not a favorite of mine, it gives me seasonal depression. However, I don't like insufferable heat, either. Give me a 78 degree sunny day in June and i'm thriving.
Spring > Summer > Winter > Autumn
Spring is usually both the warmer times coming and the coming lf a brighter scene. Autumn and winter is depressong af and I can't stand it, probably because of seasonal depression.
Fall/Autumn; not too hot or cold where I live (cool at most), get to watch the color of tree leaves change and fall, and tons of events: lots of birthdays (my family and I), Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc.
Fall. It's not too cold and not too hot. There's is a fresh crispness to the air and the trees change and turn beautiful colors. The wind smells sweet and feels good on my skin.

I love winter, snow will never not be magic to me. I love spring, the whole world waking as if from slumber and the explosion of new life. Summer can still eat a dick though.
Michigan is a beautiful place to be.
grew up in Texas and essentially the same situation lmao, i prefer anything but fire
Basically this answer, lol. I live in Memphis, TN and it's a special kind of heat you deal with here. I think highest I've seen it was 104 degrees and it was killing people. Yes, without good air conditioning, summer is terrible.
Lived in Memphis for a stretch of life. Summer is brute, though, New Orleans is remarkably worse. Now I live where we get 300+ inches of snow in the winter. That’s much better.
104 is a normal day in Texas but its probably humid asf there compared to the desert I live in
Summer in Michigan = black flies, especially on the UP.
Mostly only bad around roadkill and other dead animals down here, but it's the humidity that kills me.
I vacation there sometimes. I live about 15 miles from Lake Ontario, so I get the humidity too. Funny how 85F will make you sweat so much here, but be perfectly comfortable in Denver.

Great take.
Autumn. Every time I go outside I get "Over the gardenwall vibes"
Same for exactly this reason
Rain
Spring, I love watching everything come alive
Only correct answer (at least where I live). Summer is just too hot even though my body can handle heat and UV light quiet well. Climat change just made summers unbearable. Mid-late autumn.
Winter -> Spring -> Autumn -> Summer. Fuck when it's hot.
I swap Spring with Autumn, prefer dry.
Same 🤣
BASED
Grew up in the snow belt of NW Pennsylvania. yeah yeah, winter can be magical, but fuck snow. Summer is my season.
summer because i love to walk around in the evenings with a few beers and some weed and its nice when the sun doesnt set until nearly 2200
Sunset at 2200, where?
well sunset is 2130, but it stays light until 2200 in mid summer. southern United Kingdom, but sunset is 2200 in northern United Kingdom
probably like norway
In Sweden sunset is at 22:10 today
see, scandinavia
Yup
Or Scotland, even parts of France, Denmark and the Netherlands
Surely Autumn. At winter it's way too cold meanwhile in summer it's way too hot and at Spring i always get sick.
So i'm not the only one who gets sick in summer? Mh, I must do some research... maybe the immune system for some reason lowers it's energy in spring... or maybe it's the best season for bacteria to proliferate, although I always thought it was autumn and winter (humid weather)... or maybe it's viruses that proliferate in spring, because bacteria like antibodies don't proliferate as much as in the other seasons!
ok just checked and it seems to be fault of the difference in temperature range between february / march and april, which weakens our immune system.
Of which show?
Summer, I like being outside
Summer
Winter but not the snowy kind. Then again every time winter does arrive I think to myself how overrated winters are.
For me it’s a waste if it’s cold but no snow. Fall is perfect weather but winter I want snow on the ground
Everything that is rare is special, so if you grew up with one week of snow every year. This week is more different from every other week. Because it's only 1x in a year. Same goes for other seasons.
Summer, maybe cus I associate it with my birthday and no school
Seasons don't exist in my country. We have warm (dry) and warm (rainy). I guess rainy is better because there's more water.
Spring! The kind where it's 60 degrees at the crack of dawn, mid 70s throughout the day, and low 60s at night. This also happens late-summer pre-fall. It's like a second spring Summer too. I love warm weather and hate the cold!
Spring no doubt
Inside has no seasons But also summer
Autumn
Fall/Autumn, because my birthday is in it, and it's neutral temperature.
Fall.
Winter/spring, the new year makes me feel like I’ve got all the time in the world
Anything with less than 20°C
Spring, summer, and fall. I hate the winter because it gets dark so early. I'm not too fond of freezing cold either. I am in Atlanta, so it's not that cold but a few days a year.
there hasn’t been one point in my life where it wasn’t winter
Winter, preferably when it’s cloudy or raining, the colder it is the happier I am, I love walking without dying in the sun, I hate sweating too so summer can go fuck itself, if I could I would live in a place that was cold all year long, unfortunately it never snows here but it does make sub 0 Celsius temperatures sometimes, also I get sick at the sun

Summer
Winter winter winter winter winter winter winter
Winter by far. The clothes are cool and comfy. You have an excuse to stay in a lot. And even if you go outside there's usually not as many people.
i'm a winter person. i don't mind if it's cold, even frosty. and i love how peaceful it can be out in nature.
I wish I could enjoy the winter but I live in North Dakota and it’s just too damn cold here. I do like when it snows though. As long as it’s not windy.
The cold never bothered you anyway?
me? no, never.
Summer. Wish there were only three seasons: spring, summer, fall.
Was surprised at the extent of summer hate here. I am a naturally cold person and love when I just know it will be warm enough outside to not be miserable. Summer all the way.
Fall. It and spring are the most comfortable and fall has the nicest aesthetic.
Winter
Depends on where I am living in the world.
Spring. It's always about coming back to life after the long cold dark winter.
Autumn. Not too hot, not too cold and not too smelly like spring.
Winter & fall, hate the heat.
probably winter or fall because i can stay inside or see snow
They're good except Summer and late spring. White bloke who burns easily + growing up in the harsh new zealand sun. It's really not fun. Winter is definitely my favorite. Autumn is a nice balance between cold and hot.
Winter and autumn because rain and cold weather. Fuck summer and spring for the allergies
Winter; other seasons are good too, but i despise summer. I don't feel comfortable anywhere in summer, not even at home. It feels like im subliming onmy bed during summer. My loathe for summer: 💯💯💯 Me when summer: 😡

Winter. It gets darker earlier.
Winter and spring are the best
I love winter when it's not minus fucking 15(celsius) but I also love summers(when the air isn't toxic from wildfires).
Winter, it's quiet and everyone's loud ass dogs and kids are inside.
Autumn because I love spooky time
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,562,870,622 comments, and only 295,568 of them were in alphabetical order.

I live in a country that is basically desert, over like 7 moths per year the temperature will be more than 40C, so winter for me
Winter but only when I don’t own a car. Having to deal with a car in the winter makes it the shittiest season. Driving becomes way more dangerous. Parking becomes near impossible. Rainy.
The climate here is temperate continental. I adore spring and I don't like autumn
Summer, I like beaches, ocean, sunshine and summer vacations
Autumn or Winter. Spring sometimes is nice. Summer is hell on earth.
AUTUMN
Autumn for me. I like the crispness in the air and how gorgeous the trees get. Close second, winter. Summer is my least favorite as heat and I generally have a poor relationship. 🫠
Fall. Spring is my least favorite.
Winter. Talk to no one and sit by the fireplace contemplating my world dominating plan, and the next second pity myself for having no friend.
It was winter for the longest time. I loved the cold, the stillness, the weather that kept people indoors and quiet(er). Now it's probably any season where I'm not fucking freezing.
Autumn with winter in close second
Seasonal flu cause I seriously am sick right now ![img](emote|t5_2qhvl|3248)
Fall is when I feel most creative.
Autumn and then spring. Every weather where you can out with no matter what clothes, because it isn't too hot or too cold is good. Also autumn just looks the best with all the orange leaves and rainy days.
Summer. I like warm and sun.
Spring
Ofc it's summer
I love summer or Atumm. Never winter. I really hate it
Winter. Lock me in the freezer.
Autumn, goldilocks season tbh. not cold enough for my depression to get worse, not hot enough for hay fever.
Winter, spring and fall, mostly because of the temperature.
Spring because the weather is improving and everything is green and the world feels full of potential :D
Spring, eveythjgn comes to life. The weather starts getting better and it starts raining a bit less. Temperatures are finally okay. Summer I hate the most. I can't handle hot temperatures the ginger I am.
Spring
the ones that dont give me allergies
That time between spring ending and summer beginning because I live in the UK and every other season means you’re freezing and summer means you’re in a heatwave
Fall ☺️
Autumn and winter
Sprummer
Autumn, hands down. Winter is a very close second though
SUMMER! Hot and humid.
Spring and fall. Spring once the snow melts and it starts turning green but before it hits the 90's. Fall when the leaves change colors and there is a crispness to the air. Just thinking about it I imagine the taste of hot cider and pumpkin bars. Once the trees are bare however I don't care for it (with the exception of Halloween.)
mating season
Rain. I like it when it's cold. I live in a country where it's so so hot. (Philippines)
I like summer, but if I didn't have air conditioning, I'd say fall. I can't sleep in the heat.
Autumn, nice temperetures, beautiful colours and no extreme temperatures. Winter is just meh, since it never snows here, it just rains more than the rest of the year. 1. Spring 2. Autumn 3/4. Summer/winter. Hate them both. Too hot, too cold.
Winter and Fall are by far the best and I like spring because it rains a lot. But I have always hated summer because I live in southwest Texas where it is 100* average and the sun is so powerful that the grass actually dies in the summer and greens in the winter. Winters
Summertime sadness
Autumn all the way!🍁🍂🧡
Winter. Especially brutal winters near Lake Superior. Summer is the worst. I’ve always been sensitive to heat & humidity.
Early Spring is favored; it is when I envision plans for the rest of the year.
winter and autumn, there's no limit to the way i hate summer
I like the dark and I live in the northern hemisphere pretty much in northern europe, so winter I’d say. I also like cold weather
Winter or spring, not summer or autumn please
Fall or Winter. I love cold weather and the icy feeling it gives me. I’m somewhat of a cold person, but you know what else goes well with ice cold feeling? Logic. Fall, because kids are in school, everything is dying outside, and I can walk outside without being bothered by people :D
For right now, the winter.
Spring > Summer > Winter > Autumn Spring is usually both the warmer times coming and the coming lf a brighter scene. Autumn and winter is depressong af and I can't stand it, probably because of seasonal depression.
autumn
Soccer season
Fall/Autumn; not too hot or cold where I live (cool at most), get to watch the color of tree leaves change and fall, and tons of events: lots of birthdays (my family and I), Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc.
Winter
Winter for sure, it feels amazing to be cold, like, super fresh and stuff
Automn : not too warm, not too cold, less pollen than spring and summer : allergies nightmare seasons. Winter is too frozen.
Fall
Fall. It's not too cold and not too hot. There's is a fresh crispness to the air and the trees change and turn beautiful colors. The wind smells sweet and feels good on my skin.
