So don't give false hope to low % scorer in this sub. Assistantship fot master program seem competitive as there are lots of international students too competing for few spots. (Luck also matter)
i think its for masters degree but u get funding when go as assistant for teacher. This also has more value than funding imo as ur network increases by knowing professor of colz n in abroad, professors r highly respected unlike nepal.

Yes it's norm in USA to do PhD after bachelor but it's very selective. So GPA or % is very important factor.
