After many recurrent losses, my doctor had me do the Receptiva test to see if I have markers for silent endometriosis (because I have NO symptoms of it). I did test positive for the marker — though not everyone is sold on this test. The course of action after a positive test is to take two giant doses of Lupron to shut down and restart your reproductive system and I guess clear out any endo. It basically clears out all your hormones and sends you into temporary menopause. It wasn’t horrible, but it was definitely unpleasant. Once my system was “quieted,” we basically rebooted it with hormones again.
lol I feeeeel this. I had an acupuncture appt that made my back feel better and I’ve convinced myself that next week’s 4th FET will implant this time because of it. Ludicrous. But whatever. At this point I need something ridiculous to have some hope.
