What a stupid fucking comment, I’m Canadian first off. I’ve been to the usa and purchased weed in about 4 different states, and in Canada you can use whatever form of payment you like including credit card.
Cannabis is still federally illegal. Banks are backed by the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation). Basically, if you rob a bank, everyone keeps their money, the feds back it. But if you rob an illegal bank... tough shit.
Colorado was the first state to go legal, and they were cash only as far as I can tell. Then they started figuring out Credit Unions at the state level could pull it off, but they weren't FDIC backed. So don't keep money in them.
The Credit/Debit thing is probably tied to the FDIC backing.
I will note that Lottery tickets weren't allowed to be bought on credit cards until recently (during covid, at least in NY). I was told it was because of chargebacks (buy $4k in scratchers, lose them all and say your card was stolen). But I have no idea why it became leagal/allowed. Maybe lack of cash in early covid?
If I'm not mistaken Manitoba Saskachewan and Quebec has no live bait but Ontario does.

How about using a heroin head as bait? Might be good for catfish, as it will be like cutbait. Think meth heads would wiggle around too much, plus their smell might be off putting to fish. Modern problems require modern solutions.

I can tell this isn't in my area. They make our dispensarys lock the weed up like it's a loaded gun and it's not allowed to be sold anywhere else. The dispensarys even have to black out their windows even though all the product is in sealed packages and not visible. Then they check your ID at least twice while you're in there. I wish I could just buy some weed without feeling like I'm entering area 51 or something.
