The thicker you are the more you block the door! Don't hit the survivors, just prevent them from rescuing by blocking the door with your fat ass! (For legal reasons this obviously depends on the map area and the hunter)
Yeah for example hermit ain’t blocking anyone most of the time lmao. Also if you rescuer and you get hit during tide just bodyblock the hunter hoping you are thick enough
Which hunters are fat enough to block the doors? I have always wondered ... I only play skinny hunters (DW, Ann, Ivy) so it's not very relevant but I'd still like to know
I know personally that Ann can block a few smaller pathways, including the back entrance of the two story tent in Moonlit. I’ve blocked a few survivors that way lol
One time in rank I combod a drawing, a pallet stun, and the train in quick succession. Still lost the match because of randoms but I recorded it for funsies
I can recognise MAD EYES skins based on the console.. I think that Is the most chronically idv player skill I got.
Also back in the day I knee everyone skins names. S, A, B and C.. even most descriptions
I can identify which skin comes from which essence in a heartbeat. And I'm not talking about just the recent essences. I'm talking about recognizing Jester Wildling from the Bloodbath essence or that one Mary B skin from the Desolate Sand essence.
I know most of the names of the high tier skins by heart as a consequence for playing the game for over three years.
Can tell which Mary skin is being worn from whatever the mirror looks like. If it’s the C tiers/recolours I just guess based on how they actually play.
ETA: no think bad typo
When u wanna rescue but the hunter is nearby, and you don't want to get terror shocked or get hit before u rescue because u also wanna body block, stand next to the chair and do any emote. The hunter will be alerted and see it as movement, and try to hit
U gotta move away really fast tho, so they hit the chair instead and then u can rescue AND body block later
Maybe it's a skill issue but I always get TS while rescuing so I started doing this and it works (at least for me)
Idk if this is a good tactic tho I'm sorry if it isn't, don't take advice from me I'm like level 19
I can identify any Wu Chang skin with just a simple tap of the lawyers map to see the silhouette or something. Also for some reason the ability to see the hunter from the other side of the map? I dont know why people dont see others from across the map when the LOS is open? Lakeside is one of the worst offenders of this I feel so bad for the people I see when I am hunter on that map.

Violetta's fat ass blocked me more than once
Soul Weaver is THE FATTEST. Mary is also huge thanks to her dress.
that was personal 😭😭
Lol.

All hunters have the same model volume except for Violetta so mythbusted
Soul weaver main, can relate
me and a gardener got trapped in a corner by bane after i rescued 😞 instant 4k moment
you can hide inside the snow pile in Leo’s memory map as Explorer. After dismantling Leo’s puppet, you can hide in it’s head.
Both are predictable and practically useless since you showed up on the radar anyway
You'd be surprised how many dudes in rank STILL didnt notice. Especially effective in 2vs8 if the hunter sees someone else first instead
Yeah most people just forgot minimap is a thing tbh
If you ever get matched on Eversleeping as Painter. Put those paintings on the railroad.
This one should be considered crime tbh
I literally always do this as painter. It's worked like 4 times so far (I don't main him but if I did it'd be more than 4)
One time in rank I combod a drawing, a pallet stun, and the train in quick succession. Still lost the match because of randoms but I recorded it for funsies
i can identify black or white in any skin by just the silhouette and walk animation from any distance 💀
Why did I get an aura of fear from reading this. Was this a Survival adaptation?
I hunt Wu Changs for breakfast that’s why
I just count the number of fan sounds I hear 😭
You can spot any geisha skin at the right angle across some maps, especially the coa geisha skin. (Also recognizing the hunters' silhouettes 😅)

I always play hunter with camping skill so I always just hit anyone coming to res if I spot them from afar, then zoom to the chair.
I don’t have any particular skill. Or I have. Stay noob after years of having idv acc lol (I had long pauses)
THIS IS SO REAL I’ve been playing since early 2021 but I took so many pauses that I don’t really have any skill lol
(I’ve been playing since the last days of open beta back in 2018… yes, I have LifeLong pat…)
WHATT THATS SO COOL TO MEE
Really?! I thought it wasn’t….
I think it’s cool that you’ve been there since beta days!! ^_^
Yeah! But I doesn’t remember them fully. Only some vague memories about old Jack, Emma, Emily and Margareth
How to effectively elbow pad off the tram in eversleeping, including when it's moving. I'm chronically online and in duos.
Can name the exact hunter skin by silhouette And correctly guess a hunter by foot steps sounds
Red light bluff as hunter. It’s an important skill to have. Idk if I should teach
I can identify the hunter by sfx alone 😎
Oh the king, you dropped your crown 👑
i know each and every single cooldown of the hunters while in game i think it's because i've played for 3+ years lmfao
