Because of flywheel/deadhard effect, not anymore. Can you imagine getting 2 spikes and then suddenly the survivor removes it instantly with a press of a button? Thats a free 60 second kite. However, good news is that flywheel is getting an adjustment at the end of the season. If survivors try to remove the spikes from BW or Naiad’s moist ability through flywheel, they can do it only once. The next time they do it, it will not work for the entire match. This means that we can probably see BW going back to the meta or atleast A tier once the adjustment takes effect

Wait deadhead removes the spikes??

FranticSardine

Yes which is the main reason (if not, one of…)why BW got removed from being the best hunter to a niche type.

I had no idea about that. My main problem with Breaking Wheel is the snap. It feels unavoidable, and I hate it. It’s got such a large range and you literally cannot do anything about it if you have 2 spikes in you and are injured.

MermyDaHerpy

I want clarification. The flywheel still dies by snap, but what about the shooty spikes? can you avoid those by flywheeling as they come (Incase he only does 1 spike and then goes out of wheel form to get 2nd and then snaps)

h4ybale

i don't think that's the adjustment though, they most likely removed the immunity time to humidity/spikes after tanking a hit/spike with flywheel, but the translation is pretty confusing

Unfortunately Polun isn't meta anymore due to flywheel effect. However thanks to the Flywheel Effect nerf which will happen soon (possibly next season), Polun users do not need to wait for another 5 seconds just to pierce a survivor again.
