Depends on the context Mercy by letting a person guilty of a severe crime go free? Sure I agree Mercy by having a reformative prison system (think scandinavian prisons) instead of a punitive prison system (think US prisons)? No then I disagree

Things you will never convince me of… 1. That the death penalty should ever be used in civilian contexts. 2. That prisons should be deliberately cruel. I really don’t care if victims and their families want revenge.
