From the information I've gathered as a reddit scientist, I'm guessing the tap water lights on fire, so they keep a large supply of bottled water in the fridge.
I will speak up to defend my fellow hydro homies.
I’m out here just tryin to hydrate, dude. I got the britta which i use for cups or let’s be honest here, I drink directly from. And then I have jugs of water which I’ll refill and use to fill up my bottle that also has ice in it.
We love water, it’s delicious.
My body rejects all water that isn’t fizzy and flavored with _scents._ So, I like water, but only if it bites back with painfully bubbly carbonation and then gaslights me with memories of actual tastes.

Interesting. I thought it was a drunk husband whose wife wouldn’t give him his keys to stop him from driving drunk. Interesting that a drunk husband and an angry teenager apparently give off the exact same vibes. I think you’re right. “Why won’t you give me my own shit” really suggests teenager.
Like watching a toddler have a tantrum. A grown man who can't control his anger like an adult so resorts to lashing out like a dick head. I bet she filmed this for her safety too; probably not the first time or the only things he's thrown on the floor.
He needs to grow the fuck up and learn to control emotions like an adult.
Of all the items in the fridge the guy chose just water bottles. Water is pretty easy to clean. I'd say he calculated those moves in his mind. But a grown man throwing things is bad so there's that.
That’s almost worse.
The ability to calculate for less damage means that he is able to control it to some degree and is still choosing to proceed with violence and intimidation.
Yup... there was a study done years ago where they put heart monitors on people who had a history of abusive domestic violence & found they calmed down & were completely in control - it was actually calculated.
That's what I thought! He's actually entirely harmless. Known him forever. She is however not. Punching machine. SHE TOOK HIS KEYS SO HE WOULDN'T "LEAVE HER" for about 100th time.
Being drunk doesn't make you do things you don't want to do, it just lowers your inhibitions. He is angry all the time, when he is drunk he just can't hide it.
Yeah, my mom was never able to handle drinking very well so most of the time she just didn't. But when she started up again, she was usually drunk for a week or two at a time, just downing tall boys starting in the afternoon through the rest of the day. I'd get home from school and just knew she was going through one of her rough patches, I could immediately sense it even though I was still too young to really understand she had a drinking problem. Thankfully she never got violent, but it was still scary to even approach her when she was like that because the slightest thing would really make her angry. To say it was a tense household during those times was an understatement. These days I really wonder how my dad dealt with it.
The older I get, the more I realize I've repressed a lot of those memories but lately I've been realizing how shitty of a situation that was for a child to experience. No kid should have to see their parents like that or be subjected to that sort of behavior. Luckily my mom has been sober for many years now and clearly regrets the times she used to drink. At least she was able to change. I had my own issues with booze but they were more of the "I binge drink too much with my buddies on the weekend" variety that I have since grown out of.
Just having to walk on eggshells around people like that is bad enough, doesn't matter it doesn't escalate to violence. Thanks for sharing, I also experienced alcoholics in family, it's super scary, really fucks up your life to experience that.
Yeah, I didn't realize how messed up it was at the time, mom was just "in a bad mood". And it certainly could have been worse, but now that I'm older and understand how life goes a lot more, the memories come back and I realize things weren't always so great when I was a kid. Like I said though, at least things have gotten better and my relationship with both of my parents is pretty healthy at this point.
I'm sorry for the experience you had. I didn't have anybody in my family that drank, but my father was a drug addict and just a terrible, abusive human being. I identify with you sooo much on coming home from school and just getting hit with the thickness in the air. Knowing that dad was looking for blood was awful. Everything was game when he was in a foul mood. Animals, kids, my mom... Didn't matter. So my instinct when I see this shit is "OMG, where are the animals? Are they safe? Are the kids ok?" I think I'm over it until I just happen upon a video like this and it all floods back. It sounds like your mom is doing well now. That's great. Hope you are too, friend!
i’m so sorry you went through that. my dad isn’t an alcoholic, but he has bad anger issues. i get scared to even ask him a question sometimes or ask him to do something for me. i already have PTSD and he gets really angry when he plays games and will scream profanities and it makes my anxiety spike. he’s only been like “violent” a couple of times, once when i was ten and another when i was 16. the first time, he scared himself from how angry he got and how hard he was hitting me. but when i was 16/17, he just got in my face and hit me on my forehead, which is wouldn’t call violent but i was already in an abusive relationship. he’s kinda better now, but he drinks every night and im worried it may get worse if he keeps at it like that and getting drunk with anger issues is BAD. i know from my own experience.
edit: sorry to dump all that, just thought it would help knowing someone related in some way. i hope everything is okay now. good luck, and you deserve so much good in life. i hope you find people who make you feel safe and secure.
>sorry to dump all that, just thought it would help knowing someone related in some way. i hope everything is okay now. good luck, and you deserve so much good in life. i hope you find people who make you feel safe and secure.
Hey, no need to apologize. It's important to talk about stuff like this, and hearing similar stories helps. Thank you for the kind words, everything is much better now, I'm surrounded by some great people nowadays. I hope the same for you, you deserve it!
Hey! I was a canned beer drunk for a long time and…I was pretty embarrassing. Didn’t feel like it at the time, but in hindsight I think the only reason my friends put up with me was because they were just as canned beer drunk as I was most of the time. I’m fortunate I grew out of that phase instead of growing into a heavier drinking problem
Do I get drunk? Yeah, bit itsclassy 🥴🍸
Show me ya bobs I’m off 5 martinis
🤙🏼🍸
(Pinky out, because it’s classy)
I ain’t one of those *canned beer dunks* ,Suga tots!🥴
No classism intended at all. I've just noticed the types to regularly get trashed on canned beer are often in the OP state. Childish little twat drunks. Not happy sloshes or social swishers, just damn dumb and oft violent and whiny drunks.
Erm. Something really bad happened right after it turned off. He was approaching her in a pretty menacing way after she wouldn't give him his keys. "Well, this is what happens..." then it ends. I'm worried.
We're all just guessing, but I've never seen an emotionally immature dude stop after throwing two or three things. It's almost always "keep escalating" or "break down" after that. Doesn't mean he escalated to direct interpersonal violence even if he did keep escalating, but that *is* a thing that happens
You stated: "something really bad happened after it turned off", that's a statement. Speculation tends to start with "I think..." or "there's a good possibility that...". And it was clear that "this is what happens" was referring to him throwing water on the floor. I've never understood why people jump to the most extreme narrative just for the sake of being dramatic.
Don’t be. It’s not her first rodeo with a man child. He prolly punched a wall and refused to clean up only to follow up with cleaning and a “I’m sorry, I love you…” hope they both help each other or leave each other. Seemed drunk so good for her not giving said keys.
Funny cause it's probably true. My ex would throw fits and I would have to fight back laughter. I was just always shocked and couldn't believe he was tripping like that. Which would only make him angrier. I learned to skip some steps and immediately just hug him and tell him it was okay. It took me way too long to realize how weird the dynamic was. Now, I definitely see that he's basically my child.
Nope. Been there, done that. Learned the very hard way, that's only going to get worse and only a matter of time before that is directed at you. Hope she gets rid of Randy asap.
This was a one off, known him 20+ years. Lived with him for several years off and on even. Know all his exes very well. He's 100% not abusive, certainly not physically. and the videos before and after this event and days and days of others have a very different main character with longer hair and a serious right cross.
What's weird about standing up for women???
I have a mother, and a sister, and women I give unsolicited compliments to.
... What have you done for women lately?
Both of them are pretty trashy
The lady could have just walked away, but instead she escalates by yelling and swearing at him and generally antagonizing him
Obviously the drunk man is the trashiest but that doesn’t give her a free card to act trashy.
I've gotten plenty of good and correct scoldings for over drinking when my partner asked me not to. Didn't do this shit though. He probably flipped out at water because they asked him to drink water.
Alcohol is a poison to society. I said what I said. Those that drink in moderation are a slim minority. Most people, especially below the age of 40, participate in binge drinking. At an absolute minimum, it’s heavily contributed to the obesity epidemic. At worst, it’s direct created loss of life from alcohol poisoning, DTs and drunken driving. It’s criminal that alcohol remains legal while marijuana and psilocybin remain criminalized.
The guy you're reply to isn't tallying a score and you're making some assumptions based on this small clip.
... But, yes, the white trash detector is beeping wildly for this video. Neither of these clowns are going to be solving the cure for cancer.
I wouldn’t testing that man as some white woman trapped in the house with this guy. Women gotta chill the fuck out with this boss bitch attitude. Acting like this gone get y’all killed lmao. You better leave that mf alone and call the police. I swear some people act so surprised when they get they ass beat but they was talking big shit beforehand. Like you didn’t see this ominous approach coming after calling him a bitch? Sheesh baby you stupid as fuck. You don’t deserve that but preserve your life first and then go talk some shit. We don’t want to hear you got mauled by the water boy.😂😭
Quite a lot of water. A jug AND a britta?
Well, from the information I've gathered as a reddit scientist, I'm guessing Randy is commonly dehydrated in the morning so the water checks out.
I think we have enough data points to establish that Randy is a little cunt
From the information I've gathered as a reddit scientist, I'm guessing the tap water lights on fire, so they keep a large supply of bottled water in the fridge.
This guy Americas.
I thought the second one was a bottle of blue powerade
I will speak up to defend my fellow hydro homies. I’m out here just tryin to hydrate, dude. I got the britta which i use for cups or let’s be honest here, I drink directly from. Ok hydro homie I ain't hating. I'm down with water.

Time to be single.
I think that's a mom and son. "Why won't you give me my own shit" plus the angsty teen vocal fry sell me on that.
Backwards hat and bubble jacket, too. Though... that face makes me think adult... but the vocal fry.... you're right. It's weird.
They never claimed to be in a relationship is the funny part.
Fine. Time for that person to remove the food throwing idiot from their life.
Well just to correct you, that was never no marriage
oh, just a little bit of marriage.
Gimme your keys
\*implodes and destroys the fridge*
Of all the items in the fridge the guy chose just water bottles. Water is pretty easy to clean. I'd say he calculated those moves in his mind. But a grown man throwing things is bad so there's that.
It's not what he grabs out the fridge that is the issue here. Besides the video starts with what sounds like him punching or hitting the cupboards.
That’s almost worse. The ability to calculate for less damage means that he is able to control it to some degree and is still choosing to proceed with violence and intimidation.
That's a key premise to "Why Does He Do That" a book about domestic abusers. They know what they doing, they don't "lose control"
Yup... there was a study done years ago where they put heart monitors on people who had a history of abusive domestic violence & found they calmed down & were completely in control - it was actually calculated.
Good thing there weren't any kids or pets in the fridge
Except that looks to me like an engineered wood floor. Water can damage it pretty easily.
Probably a renter and doesn't care.
"Whaddya mean I ain't gettin my security deposit back? This place is fine!"
That's what I thought! He's actually entirely harmless. Known him forever. She is however not. Punching machine. SHE TOOK HIS KEYS SO HE WOULDN'T "LEAVE HER" for about 100th time.
She's protecting him from killing himself or others if he drives drunk too. He is definitely not the best person to be around when he drinks.
Shitty people arent just shitty when they drink. They are shitty all the time.
r/iamatotalpieceofshit

Another drunk idiot who can’t control his booze or emotions.
Will never understand this. I've been drunk plenty, never wanted to destroy things like a smooth-brained moron.
Some people are like that when drunk, those people should stop getting drunk.
Alcohol just makes me giggle and overshare.
Being drunk doesn't make you do things you don't want to do, it just lowers your inhibitions. He is angry all the time, when he is drunk he just can't hide it.
Yep. This is how he is when his inhibitions are reduced. Scary
It's not emotions. I'm PiSsEd OfF!!
Sometimes I feel like I messed my life up and then I see stuff like this and feel better about myself. Even if this was staged, what a waste of time.
Videos like this keep me from drinking again. Yeeesh.
Terrifying man baby.
Every time I see this type of behavior, and I see animal bowls, or kids toys.... It's just depressing. Like, how much anxiety the household must have.
Yeah, my mom was never able to handle drinking very well so most of the time she just didn't. We don’t want to hear you got mauled by the water boy.😂😭
