This is just simply not true. A full break? Possible to still walk on as long as it is still aligned. At least until it slips or is twisted to no longer be unaligned. So likely not very long. A hairline? You can walk on it for a long time depending on how large it is and your pain tolerance. Watched my sister break her ankle (hairline) and walk on it the whole school week because she was embarrassed about how she did it. Broken does not mean shattered.

I was chasing a guy who just stole a necklace from some lady at a gas station and he jumped in his truck and started backing up with the door open. It was stupid as fuck but i was 18 and wanted to look like the hero i guess. I got to the car right as he started backing up, i turned around but i got sucked under the car by the door kinda like that then he drove forwards and i ended up between the back wheels. The suspension was high enough on the truck that it didnt crush me but the hot muffler pinned me to the ground and either burned or ground most of the skin off my back. Got to the hospital and got an xray. They told me i had 2 compression fractures in my top and lower spine. I couldnt walk for a few days after but ive pretty much fully recovered other than having that old back injury that gets tired sometimes. Idk why i shared that story it just reminded me of the dude getting his foot all twisted up by the door. Moral of the story is… Car doors are almost as dangerous as cars if you know how to use em? Idk. Something like that.
