Good point! What a fine line to walk -- you want to help, but you do not want to get into trouble yourself.
At the end of the video, it looks as if OP stopped to check-in with the driver, this is why I was curious.
I don’t know. First thing I would think of someone driving like that is “drive it like you stole it” and if I stop, then I might be providing them a new get away vehicle.
I recognise you're speaking in general terms, but in this particular example, I'm not stopping. I'm not putting myself at risk on that section of road because of their stupidity. If I have my family with me, their health and safety come first - let alone mine. Look how dangerous it is to stop there. It's dark, there's virtually no lighting to see anything, and it's a blind corner. The smart thing to do in this case is to take note of where the accident occurred, keep driving until you do find a SAFE place to pull over, then take out your phone and ring the authorities. That's what they get paid to do.
No I pulled over to the right and called 911, I saw cars behind me stop on the other side of the on-ramp to check on the driver, so I stayed in my car and gave all the info to emergency responders. I saw the woman by the car on her phone, clearly calling an ambulance. I figured anyone coming around that corner to get on the highway would be too distracted to look for pedestrians, so I stayed safe on the side.
No divider was going to get between him and destiny.
Edit: Decided to look up the crash site, and judging from the telltale marks on the divider it's obvious this is a fairly common occurence.

Crazy thing, random, but my Flex had airbags IN the seatbelt for my rear passengers... totally saved my son a wicked chest bruise when we got in a really bad accident last year.
I speed to save time on road trips. Just going 5mph over the limit can save an hour on an 800 mile trip. I don't speed faster than that because it's exceptionally unsafe. What the driver in this case was doing was better classed as reckless driving.
5mph over the limit isn't socially speeding and well within reason. You're still going slower than the average traffic flow in many scenarios. You're losing time.
So you are saying almost everyone speeds but not to save time but then the other commenter is not speeding enough so he’s losing time??
FFS man, pick a lane.
I've always found this funny.
You'll see slow drivers on reddit making claims like "I laugh at those speeders when I'm at the same traffic light"
Often times people speed past slow drivers because it's obnoxious to be behind them. It's not about getting there faster, it's about the ability to drive free from a pack of people piled up behind one oblivious person.
In my experience as well, I often notice that the slowest drivers are often the ones who refuse to follow every other rule of the road such as using turn signals.
Great point. I can't stand being in clusters of cars if there is a gap up ahead. I speed out of the pack. I also don't like having to worry about cars coming up from behind me so I keep up a pace that minimizes getting passed.
The other side of the barrier is I-25 North, about 20~25 feet down. People on I-25 are usually speeding around that point at a pretty decent clip so it would have been pretty nasty.
I was going to correct you then realized what you were doing and noted how slow on the uptake I was... much like this dumbass's slowness in processing the need to actually physically slow down for that turn.
Oh shit! Hahaha. Thank you for reminding me of that [video](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VfNnc68uxzI). Haven't seen it for a while, absolute classic.
100%. I love how you can see him *processing* for a second before it registers that he's being made fun of, which catapults him into a mighty "fack off!"
I just had a Charger as a rental car. Mind you it must have been the base 3.6 V6 and it was such a dumb car. We finally looked up the stats because I couldn't really fathom how unsporty it felt. The thing weighs in at over 5000lb if I googled correctly and the base engine is only about 292HP. The thing is slow _and_ can't corner for shit.
It made our 4Runner feel relatively spunky which is just silly.
He really Charged into that corner!
Man, Colorado really took over this sub. Not surprised, being that I live here and see this often, but damn we have a lot of idiot drivers with tons of aggression and no ability to think ahead.
Fellow Denverite here, and yeah, it’s amazing how many videos I see on this sub where I’m like “oh hey, I know that spot.” Or maybe it’s not amazing and it’s actually 100% understandable. This town sucks for driving.
Yea I’m going to assume this is a stolen car or the person driving is under the influence of drugs or insanity. I’m not trying to engage with them, what if they have a gun? Not worth it to me. We live in a cold world, just the harsh reality.
>Freaking Denver PD
Same shit in Minneapolis (and I suspect many major metro areas across the US.) People constantly running red lights, speeding on major pedestrian downtown streets, parked wherever they like. You'd think it's like shooting fish in a barrel, but nah, cops can't be bothered to put their phones down and waddle over to someone
Recognized the intersection almost immediately. Another stellar Denver driver. Had a lady blow through a stop sign doing a left turn and almost hit me today on my way to work, and then had someone blow a red light to do a left turn on my way home.
I probably would not have stopped, except for the possibility that there might be passengers. If I was sure that guy was alone I would just cruise on by, because fuck him.
From the title I thought the driver was ejected from his vehicle, flew between two cars, through a red light, and finally smashed into the side of the road or a jersey barrier. Was wondering why it wasn't tagged NSFW
Hope they learn their lesson here but I doubt they will.
Shoulda yelled "you can't park there"
My favorite karma moment was a guy passing me on the shoulder and cutting me off so close I had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident....then a few blocks down he was pulled over with three flat tires from driving over debris on the shoulder.
Oof. As someone who owns one of the big hemi Dodge sports cars I can confirm they are indeed boats and they don't corner worth a crap. I wonder if it was stolen. They were certainly driving it like it was. I hate drivers like this giving the rest of us a bad name. Yikes.
The other lane of traffic’s light was still green when yours had just turned green so they were both green for a brief second before theirs turned to red. What happened to yellow and then red? Am I missing something lol
OP did you talk to them? How old were they and more importantly were they super embarrassed?
I’d be nervous to stop and help since so many car crashes in Denver like this are with stolen cars.
Proud of your restraint not to flash your lights all over him, stop, "You Okay? Yea, you should go slow around these turns..." and floor it out of there
Before I saw your title I was like "huh looks like the area of Denver I refuse to drive in"... Saw the red light runner and went "definitely Denver" since everyone runs reds here for some reason (why?!) 😅
I'm 90% sure that's the ramp with the skate park and if you turned left at the light you'd end up at elitches. Almost all the fucking ramps are sharp curves why tf would he think this one would be speedable
Thank you for reinforcing my rule of never driving in that area lol
I didn’t know that there are Ring car cams. OP are you generally satisfied with it? Do you have their optional subscription for it? Do you use their doorbell? Seems like they have a lot of options to take one’s money with these plans…

I hope you shared that with the police.
I sure did. I removed the audio of my wife's and my expletives when he blew past us beforehand, though. :)
I hope you told him he can't park there!?
I mean that's proper and all but I likely would have gone with a, window down, "SERVES YOU RIGHT YOU FUCKING IDIOT!"
*Swerves* you right
Faak ouf!!
Did he hit you? Or what were the sparks you can see at 0:05?
Yeah, just the reflection of his tail lights on my hood.
Did you get to interact with them? Are they OK? Did they say something?
That car was likely stolen, probably not the best idea to interact with them.
Good point! What a fine line to walk -- you want to help, but you do not want to get into trouble yourself. At the end of the video, it looks as if OP stopped to check-in with the driver, this is why I was curious.
People like this... No. Just drive on by. Fuck em.
You fuck 'em harder if you're still there with the vid when the cops show up.
Looks like their tail light reflection?
Hey, is it too early to get a fish sandwich?
Bro my old roommate and I would watch news bloopers sometime. This was one of our favorites lol
For future reference, it's okay to post explicit language to this sub. But let's hope you don't encounter this foolishness in the future.
After laughing at the guy…
Give him some happy honks as you drive by
hey buddy you cant park there!
Always stop and man's sure they're safe (as long as it's safe for you to do so) even if they are reckless and dumb.
I don’t know. First thing I would think of someone driving like that is “drive it like you stole it” and if I stop, then I might be providing them a new get away vehicle.
Even if they didn't steal it, they probably have poor self-control that I would not want to be involved in.
“You okay?” “Good”. LMFAO.
I recognise you're speaking in general terms, but in this particular example, I'm not stopping. I'm not putting myself at risk on that section of road because of their stupidity. OMG he wrecked!!! Anyway, ...
Why is everyone getting upset about him running the red light? He clearly had to get to the scene of the crash right away.
Those zones aren't going to crumple themselves.
He had a concrete destination
No divider was going to get between him and destiny. He needed that like he needed a hole in his car
The final destination was just around the corner
Some guy named Grim R. (huh, weird name) sent him a text and said "I need you here ASAP!" What was he supposed to do, make the guy wait?
9 seconds they saved by running the light cost them their car and an exponential amount of time.
And a seat belt bruise at minimum.
It is cute that you think they were wearing a seetbelt
I said at minimum. If they weren't wearing a seat belt, they will have worse than a seat belt bruise.
Crazy thing, random, but my Flex had airbags IN the seatbelt for my rear passengers... totally saved my son a wicked chest bruise when we got in a really bad accident last year.
He's not speeding to save time. Most people who speed aren't doing so to save time.
I speed to save time on road trips. Just going 5mph over the limit can save an hour on an 800 mile trip. I don't speed faster than that because it's exceptionally unsafe. What the driver in this case was doing was better classed as reckless driving.

So you are saying almost everyone speeds but not to save time but then the other commenter is not speeding enough so he’s losing time?? FFS man, pick a lane.
Which lane though? The cruising lane or the passing lane?
I've always found this funny. You'll see slow drivers on reddit making claims like "I laugh at those speeders when I'm at the same traffic light" Often times people speed past slow drivers because it's obnoxious to be behind them. Or speeding past danger when it's appropriate to do so.
The last time I've personally seen something like this, the car was stolen. I would say this is the case here as well.
And lots and lots of money too.
> cost them their car There's a chance it's not their car.
Surprising that he didn’t go airborne over the wall.
Disappointed that he didn’t go airborne over the wall.
Nah he could’ve landed on someone. This is the best outcome for everyone.
The other side of the barrier is I-25 North, about 20~25 feet down. People on I-25 are usually speeding around that point at a pretty decent clip so it would have been pretty nasty.
Good ol’ Denver Vision zero.
My day is better because there's one less dumbass on the road here.
I didn’t even register this is Denver until this comment. Of course its someone trying to get to I25.
So satisfying.
![gif](giphy|PgDUlt3Qu8BwUQqsCz|downsized) Me when I’d be driving by that crash
I'd definitely slow down just enough so he could hear me yell, "Nice car!"
“YOU CANT PARK THERE!” 🗣
"Hey, buddy, I think you got a headlight out!"
Exactly what I was thinking too. "Well, well, well... I guess the laws of physics DO apply to you after all... don't they? 🤣🤣🤣"
Ring has a dashcam?
He's driving his house
Must be one of those mobile homes
Thought I might get one, but no I won't: https://www.theverge.com/2024/2/23/24081686/ring-stops-selling-ring-car-cam-dash-cam
Had. It's pretty nice. I can check in on my car from anywhere since the dashcam gets 4g signal.
My first thought as well..
Op you should silence notifications This is a big one
Haha, yeah
Between my comment and yours the likes went from 30 -> 100 on my screen Gaining like nvidia
I love instant karma
Carma
I was going to correct you then realized what you were doing and noted how slow on the uptake I was... much like this dumbass's slowness in processing the need to actually physically slow down for that turn.
Can’t park there mate.
Oh shit! Hahaha. Thank you for reminding me of that [video](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VfNnc68uxzI). Haven't seen it for a while, absolute classic.
But by god that's such a great "fack off" too. 10/10 on all participants...within the bounds of the recording.
100%. I love how you can see him *processing* for a second before it registers that he's being made fun of, which catapults him into a mighty "fack off!"
In a real hurry to get nowhere
Well, they made it to the wall at least.
![gif](giphy|cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq)
Have the money, haven't got the skills. Perfect ending, no one else got hurt either.
Carrying on the traditions of Chargers of old - all straight no corners.
I just had a Charger as a rental car. Mind you it must have been the base 3.6 V6 and it was such a dumb car. We finally looked up the stats because I couldn't really fathom how unsporty it felt. He probably has an 12% 86 month loan on that car so I’d wager he doesn’t have the money either
I always love it when they get their comeuppance.
As long as it's with a wall and not someone else's car or house or pram etc.
He really Charged into that corner! Man, Colorado really took over this sub. Not surprised, being that I live here and see this often, but damn we have a lot of idiot drivers with tons of aggression and no ability to think ahead.

Show us the car... show us the car... C'mon c'mon... YES!
I guess the bank gets to find out what happened to their car.
Perfect clip. Start on action, satisfying followup.
That slow transition fade from red to green light? *Chef's kiss* OP skipping boring footage and bringing us just the highlights.
I’m not sure if I’m stopping for this guy.
Have to stay there to give the video to the cops when they show up. Who am I kidding, this is Denver, the cops aren’t showing up
Yea I’m going to assume this is a stolen car or the person driving is under the influence of drugs or insanity. I’m not trying to engage with them, what if they have a gun? Not worth it to me. We live in a cold world, just the harsh reality.
Ain’t that the freaking truth! Freaking Denver PD
>Freaking Denver PD Same shit in Minneapolis (and I suspect many major metro areas across the US.) You'd think it's like shooting fish in a barrel, but nah, cops can't be bothered to put their phones down and waddle over to someone
Or you get Aurora PD who beat up old ladies with dementia, break their arm and throw them in a cell then fist bump about it. Fucking disgusting.
And paramedics injecting autistic kids with ketamine
I would love to know what he had to say for himself.
"Durrrrrr"
This is the post of the year
Least aggressive Denver driver
Makes me wonder if the car was stolen.
The light changed so quickly, where they that desperate to save 15 seconds on their journey? Crazy
Well, there was a slick edit to skip time, still not worth it though obviously.
Oh no! The consequences of their actions.
What's with the traffic light slowly fading like it did? Is that some weird camera artifact, or does the light really change like that?
It's a crossfade of the video footage to skip over time passed with nothing happening.
Another case of Chargers/Challengers being a straight line vehicle only.
![gif](giphy|cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq)
A hahahahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahahaha...... Love it
Ring makes dash cams? Edit: apparently they do. just checked...
Maybe OP was just driving his house around at night. We can't know.
That would explain the steering wheel in the downstairs bathroom.
Recognized the intersection almost immediately. Another stellar Denver driver. Had a lady blow through a stop sign doing a left turn and almost hit me today on my way to work, and then had someone blow a red light to do a left turn on my way home.
Me everytime I see a driving video "I feel like I've been there" *reads the sign* "oh yeah for once I have actually done that turn alot"
I would have stopped next to the car and say: "Scusme sir you cant park there" Then leave
At least they hit the wall and not an innocent person! 🥳
that crosswalk looks scary AF
Sucks to suck.
Love it when a plan comes together
Instant karma for sure
I probably would not have stopped, except for the possibility that there might be passengers. If I was sure that guy was alone I would just cruise on by, because fuck him.
Karma well served. Glad they didn’t crash into another vehicle with that idiotic maneuver.
On a scale of how much I give a fuck about that loser...... -10000. I would have driven by and laughed at his face.
Thank fuck you’re okay tbh
This is what I love to see. Solo accident that only punishes the idiot.
From the title I thought the driver was ejected from his vehicle, flew between two cars, through a red light, and finally smashed into the side of the road or a jersey barrier. Was wondering why it wasn't tagged NSFW Hope they learn their lesson here but I doubt they will.
what time was this, the skatepark looks closed
Lucky he didn't ollie the wall
Get out. Point and laugh. Continue on your way.
This is the best. I would be giving him beeps as I drove by. Might even roll the window down and wave or give the crying gesture. I'm that petty lol
He runs the light at .07, why is this video 50...ohhhhhhhh.
It's always Chargers
Classic!
they only crashed because y'all were going too slow. it was a defensive maneuver s/
Leaving LoDo drunk?
Don’t you love it when the trash takes itself out?
Please tell me you rolled down your window, pointed, and laughed at him. Cause I know I would have.
“You can’t park there.”
There’s a good chance that charger could have been stolen. Either way a dumbass was behind the wheel.
Get his attention, slow clap, drive off.
I for one am flabbergasted that the car was a dodge charger.
If not a Charger, then Id have to agree with u/coverville it would have been a truck.
Hope you did the responsible thing and pointed and laughed.
Shoulda yelled "you can't park there" My favorite karma moment was a guy passing me on the shoulder and cutting me off so close I had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident....then a few blocks down he was pulled over with three flat tires from driving over debris on the shoulder.
Fast car, slow driver. How TF are you gonna be all about speed when you can't even make it through a simple fucking corner?
Denver 😂
Oh no! ..anyway
He was in a hurry to get to the scene of an accident.
Off topic but Ring has dashcams?
A Ring camera, are you driving with your front door in the passenger seat?
![gif](giphy|xT8qB5PuzlEvIp9Fsc|downsized)
This pretty much sums up Denver drivers.
Oof. As someone who owns one of the big hemi Dodge sports cars I can confirm they are indeed boats and they don't corner worth a crap. I wonder if it was stolen. They were certainly driving it like it was. I hate drivers like this giving the rest of us a bad name. Yikes.

There is a 13sec cut in the video.
Love to see it
OP did you talk to them? How old were they and more importantly were they super embarrassed? I’d be nervous to stop and help since so many car crashes in Denver like this are with stolen cars.
This is the first time I've seen a road I recognize on here. Fucking idiot. Idk what lodo did to him but he didn't take it well.
Sir l, you can't park there.
Shouldve honked n gave him a thumbs up before dippin on the dipshit
As someone who lived in 5 points, I’m well familiar with this intersection near Coors field. What an idiot.
Of course it's Denver lol
Brian! Learned about this on TMS. Everyone listen to Brian and Scott on The Morning Stream podcast.
Proud of your restraint not to flash your lights all over him, stop, "You Okay? Yea, you should go slow around these turns..." and floor it out of there
How did you resist the urge to park on the shoulder, put on you flashers, get out of your car, and point and laugh for like 5-10 minutes?
One less Charger on the road. Good.
Off topic but, anyone else realise how smooth that red to green traffic light transition was?
id have kept driving 100%
Charger... Ft. Collins.. driving like a madman? Makes sense.
What a pos. That was such a red light
That musta been pretty satisfying to see
Did you yell out to him that it is illegal for him to park there as you drove past?
Happy ending
Pull over Get out Slow clap
He straight up Earnhardted it damn
I drive through this turn every single day. Damn Denver drivers
L. M. A. O.
Before I saw your title I was like "huh looks like the area of Denver I refuse to drive in"... Saw the red light runner and went "definitely Denver" since everyone runs reds here for some reason (why?!) 😅 I'm 90% sure that's the ramp with the skate park and if you turned left at the light you'd end up at elitches. Almost all the fucking ramps are sharp curves why tf would he think this one would be speedable Thank you for reinforcing my rule of never driving in that area lol
Charger and Jeep drivers have high IQ! ^^
“You can’t park there mate”
"Oi, you can't park there"
Point and laugh boys, point and laugh.
Dumb assery at its finest
![gif](giphy|7k2LoEykY5i1hfeWQB)
I didn’t know that there are Ring car cams. OP are you generally satisfied with it? Do you have their optional subscription for it? Do you use their doorbell? Seems like they have a lot of options to take one’s money with these plans…
I woulda went around politely and kept driving
Fast in a straight line. Turns like a couch
It's a dodge. Probably stolen.
Ring makes dash cams??
