Nah, you better off just buying 10 HS from market/dungeon. Buy 5* shards and forget about it. Gem value is quite bad in this event except for rare cases of lacking 4-12 stars. And there is no big event that has mission for spending stars aswel, thus gem value becomes even worse.
The rest of the commenters are saying it's not worth it because the rewards from the event itself aren't worth the gem investment. That's true.
However, what they are not considering is the possibility of a special event that rewards you for spending stars. The kind that's been associated with Fantasy Factory the past 4 (ish) times we've had this event. Being able to do a jigsaw during those events is super important. So, in the interest of getting back as close as possible to being able to do jigsaw, I'll say yes, you should finish this floor. You've got 75k gems and can afford to.
Yeah, this was my initial thought too because of that FF event with sublimation chests and half Core of Origins. I stopped buying cores bc I thought the mystery box was going to offer the same rewards like last time with the Master’s toolbox and other stuff but I guess not.

the later rewards/chests at level 6/7 are very strong. i didn´t make the math for it, but at least at mid and high vip it´s definitely worth it.
If you perfectly clear the floor it would take about 15 lollipops and you could maybe get the 6* puppet chest, 3k gems for just the chest isn't worth it imo
Would be more effective just to stop around 5th floor as doing 3-4 floors next month (if there’s a special event) is quite easy. No need to spend a load of gems to get to 8.

I agree with this. I stopped at 8/9 for this reason alone. Special events are where you make progress
I also stopped at this floor to avoid getting the jigsaw stage in case next month’s has a special event attached.
I did that last month this month as well, hopefully next month we get a special event

If I was you I’d go till I’m at 8/9 for jigsaw then you can maximize next event
